Accepted by the Kan’non Collective, the artificial intelligence supervising the Kuzunoha Clan, one of the most influential Devil Summoning clan in Japan, Ankoku was named as the representant of the Yami, a side branch specialized in dealing with ferrying soul and matters that tether between life and death after their founder part of the divine authorities of the Hindi Deity Mrtyu. Presumably, the Yami have influenced the myth of the Shinigami.

Considered a low elite of the Kuzunoha clan In terms of skills, Yami Kuzunoha employs in milee combat Tiara, an exorcism kartika knife for, and Masakado, a kodachi (short blade) he hides under his cape. While he wields a GOMP (a pistol connected to a computer that allows him to summon demons), his poor aim forces him to use it for short-medium range. However, his trademark skill is to be able to temporarily copy demon techniques as long as he understands them, which earnt the nickname Devil Hijacker (Akuma Nottorishi).

Horo of the Black Flames (黒い炎の母衣, Kuroi honō no Horo): Ankoku’s strongest technique, When using his Magical Hijacking on his cape, it swells up like a horo before turning into a crocodile-like hind with the might of a dragon, unleashing the Black Flame of the Everlasting Dragon. Being molted scales, it’s not as powerful as an actual dragon but still capable of hurting most demons, either by the physical power or by the released black flames. It consumes Magatsuhi and hurts the user as times goes on.

"Formerly known as The Everlasting One of the Black Flames and daughter of the Korean Goddess of Hearth.… when I first met her she was a bit of a brat, even becoming my roommate without consent.. and yet we became friends. I am ashamed to admit I enjoyed to look at her generous bust, as well as filled with pride when people mistook us for an item, and happened plenty of times too… but as time went on I realized there was much more to her: because of her upbringing, she mistook kindness for weakness, and yet she yearned deep down not to be alone. I wonder how much I helped her break out of her hardened shell... while I will miss her, I am happy she settled down with a good person like Ashura. I kind of fear she might have rushed this relationship they both are very young, (it took me a while to wrap my head around her tying the knot with someone so quickly, although I appreciated some side effects), yet I know she will raise her daughter Himawari well. I admit I have manipulated her and her own father so that she would get rid of his influence... but she has yet to learn how to stand up to her sisters. She better soon, as I fear her middle sister will find an excuse to kill her someday."

I should be an enemy to the demon realm, yet she always welcomes me as your friend, of all things, and makes me a participant of your adventures, where hijinks inevitably ensue. At times, she put me accidentally through more pain I can handle… and I wish she was taking more responsibility for her misgivings.I am mad for what she did with Elphelt: I know she acted in good faith but it annoys me she wasn’t reprimanded for the Valentine's corruption. Of course I don’t hate her, but she should grow up by now beyond her adrenaline junkie face. I do admit I kind of envy her freedom and power, but I am aware someday she will have to face her reckoning. From a grumpy woman living in a cave and refusing to train and improve her technique, only absorbing more energy from the Backyard, she has grown into an upstanding dutiful, defeating Nagoriyuki in battle and deciding to become a guardian to avoid anyone else to be corrupted like her “mother”, Ariels and her mother’s creator Happy Chaos. I feel proud she incorporated some of my suggestions to improve her own magic, and I am thankful she has even bent her own personal code to allow me to step in the Backyard and use its magic. As a promise, though, I better not do it again, lest my body gets destroyed. I made a useful friend, although one that still hides plenty of weakness and frailty, as seen with how she felt powerless with Elphelt’s death (until I revived her). I will keep an eye on you, dear friend...”
Jaakuna Warasaki ft. Dark Organization
"On behalf of Yatagarasu, I have been tasked to look after the Dark Organization, a reformed group of supernatural terrorism after a complicated series of events that started when their previous leader was ousted by Jaakuna Warasaki, metahuman bound to the Fallen Angel with no Master Bəlīyyaʿal. And such a title fits her as well: she struggled for all her life to struggle back outside influences, and free she is, even of her father who is, ironically enough, Chaos itself. I like to think there is mutual respect between them. Maybe she isn't the most moral person, but she is the best fit at leading a group of kindred spirits like her: powerful and beautiful ladies that I don't check out, no I am not sharing my notes about them, there is nothing about their measurements, stop asking ... and quite an handful, professionally speaking. I no longer envy people stronger than me, but I am not sure a conflict between organization would lead to unnecessary losses on both sides. Besides, I enjoy our business meetings.... "Of all people I know, Kenith is among the ones that both draws my interest the most, as well as bores me the most. Having been raised on an island with a thriving warrior culture, I have grown to dislike the archetype of Blood Knights, people who merely live to fight a better fight. So dull, so unimaginative. Like a snake biting their own tail, their hedonism is drawn on nothing that can improve me. Strength? And yet I cannot deny Kuro’s training is admirable:I know he has had an awful childhood, but look at him now! I don't think he is aware of how blessed he is with his power. If only I had it: alas, I tried his training regime and all it did was give me cramps. If there is a way to unlock more of my potential is not through it. While I do call him an ally, I am not particularly close to him: he is mostly about fighting and huge female chests, not much for me to have a conversation with, even though I do get where is coming from with the latter. He might be another hard case like Ramlethal, but he does have a hidden soft spot. There, I said it!"

"I am no longer envious of people, but allow me to ask why is she so tall and MASSIVE?! Likely due to a mix of her trainings and her genes: Magic Users are not actually humans, and Noi feels like a big massive bear. Depending on her day and your alligiance to her family, either the most protective Mama Bear or the rabid monster that will tear you limb to limb: her job is a de facto enforcer to the Undergound equivalent of a mafioso. She doesn't like her boss despite their blood relation, thinking he only values her as an asset rather than hold actual familiar love, although, honestly, I would rather be as far as possible from Lord En: Yatagarasu and he are allies only because it's easier and profitable for the time being. But I think I and Noi are beyond this kind of bond... kind of amusing, given I blew her brain once due to a misunderstanding (she took it in stride, if you wonder)! To think a young ambitious hero wannabe like me would find out so much treasure even in a hellhole like the Underground once I stopped being judgemental... still not sure how i feel about it... "

"A presence that has always been around like a soothing breeze… and just like the wind, I have never paid too much attention to him, yet I have never disliked him. Ashura is a gifted swordsman with wind powers mysteriously related to a Dragon, incredibly polite and acting like an old fashioned Samurai, down to using this one (拙者) to address himself. I do have however, an issue with him: さま! It’s 暗黒-さま or MASTER ANKOKU, not 暗黒-どの / LORD ANKOKU. I swear, before I die, I will make him call me such. However, despite this one glaring issue, I couldn’t imagine a better mate for Ji’A, and I am happy for the two of them to have found each other: it pains me I have to threaten him with bodily violence not to hurt her out of brotherly love in her regards, as I really think he doesn’t need such menace to carry out such. I even accepted his own menaces if I somehow were to hurt his family. Honestly, he may very well be able to carry out that threat: I am awful when it comes to sensory skills and his wind leaves me completely open to an attack. Not that I would ever hurt Jiji or Young Himawari but... I better train”

"The eldest daughter of the Goddess of Hearth, and the best fighter of the three, due to the strict abusive parental training. Yet Min-Seo's nigh invincibility has made her lose interest in everything but junk food, sleep and poor quality TV, going so far to commit mass murder rather than perform her job as a boon granter at a now destroyed shrine. So long for being productive. The only things she cares about are her family and a potential worthy opponent. I don't think I am going to be either, but she likes to tease me about the latter, likely out of boredom. Once she even proposed to make a contract with me, but her food request were so high I decided to summon one of her fox flames... Her voice and scent, eerily like her other sister’s, can't help but make me feel uncomfortable, and make me a potential decline of our bond due to my stance against said sister. I have dated her a few times, but given she likes Luke Sercta better, I mostly go out with her likely for the same reason as she does: not to be alone"

"Back when I tried to be a hero, here is what I thought would be the endgame. Is he the ancient king gone mad Zahak or the ancient Zoroastrian Demon spawn of Anra Mainiiu? While I theorize the truth lies somewhere in between, I dare not to find out and he speaks not of his past, for all he says are words meant to be etched in my mind as I last draw breath. The way Azi Dahaka behaves however does not align with fiends: rather, he acts like a Calamity in itself, destroying all that is nearby and leaving as hastily as he came. Yet, never during his rampages, I have seen him enjoy the destruction he bring. He reeks of self righteousness and self importance, believing himself as a being only a Hero of Justice can slay. I don't know if this is true, I am no longer a hero nor try to be one... however, as a duty, I will bring him down, if I have to"
