Bioline Part 5: Co-Leadership & Planning

Things fell into peaceful bliss (mostly) for the Advents. Not only did Akito make the Mansion for her family, but she went around and gathered what members remained and were willing to try again to keep the family alive in what ways they could find. Akito kept the Advents in the shadows, making many assume they had died off. At the time, Akito figured keeping her family in the shadows was the best way for them to recover after constantly switching from leader to leader in such a short timeframe. Without random outsiders coming to challenge them, they could work on getting stronger and better.

After a while, Akito set out and allied with Avalon, another old family. It was an unique alliance, to say the least. The Avalonians were usually known as the "good guys", while the Advents were known as the "bad guys". In retrospect, in the past, the alliance would probably have been laughed at. However, Akito made it happen and became friends with the King of Avalon, Demise. The reason Akito picked Avalon as her first ally was not just because it was an older family like the Advents, but the Avalonians knew about the past. They were also the only ones she saw as worthy of her trust compared to other groups of people she looked over.

Some time after creating the alliance with Avalon, Valdea, another of Akito's older brothers, made his appearance. He didn't approve of the Advents being in the shadows and clearly said so. He disagreed so much he tried to take the leadership, bringing some of his own followers. Strife occurred  between Akito and Valdea, each having their own separate members, effectively splitting the family. Valdea wanted the Advents to become as they were in the old days, but Akito wished for change and prosperity in the new age. Their differences clashed repeatedly for quite some time before Valdea suggested to do a co-leadership, to which Akito agreed to, reuniting the two halves of the family.

The co-leadership was an excellent idea. Not only did it reunite the family, but it also helped to reduce some of the stress that often came with leading an Empire. Even better, was that Akito and Valdea worked out most of their differences. So that came as a nice plus in Akito's view.
------------------------------
A brief lull came over the Advent Empire, in which Valdea left to travel the cosmos for newfound power, leaving his and Akito's sister, Fear, his part of the leadership. Being so used to brothers coming and going at random, Akito wasn't sure if Valdea would come back, but hoped he would. He was a good brother regardless of past events, and extremely helpful when it came to new or improved battle tactics.

For the time being, though, Akito worked with Fear on planning the Empire's future.

Bioline Part 4: Striving for a Future

The Call turned out not to be another Reunion of any sort. To Akito, it just seemed to be a rallying of the family of which members answered, which was very few compared to the last Reunion that took place. A brother by the name of Winter had taken leadership. Akito didn't know this brother very well, she had heard his name in passing and saw him once or twice in the past. Still estranged from the family at the time, Akito didn't interfere but merely watched as events unfolded. Winter had brought several followers along with him. A few were not worth hanging out with in Akito's opinion. The "unworthy" ones seemed to just have followed Winter to try to be a part of the Advent fame. Not to mention that they harassed everyone they did not like. Akito wasn't too thrilled with having the wannabes around and scoffed at them.

Her brother Death had appeared, sharing the leadership title with Winter. At first, Winter was outraged at this, but he and Death worked something out and things settled a bit between them. Although a traitor sought to sow strife within the family, the Advents survived. However, when Jenova Absolute declared there would be no more Advent Lords after the traitor tried to tear the family apart, both leaders vanished, with Winter disappearing what seemed for good and Death going back to doing whatever he had been doing beforehand. With this latest bit of events, Akito sought out Death and asked his permission if she could take over with the leadership duties. Death willing gave up his leadership to Akito. With the new privilege, Akito went to work on getting her family back together and organized.

The first thing Akito did was use her own magical abilities and the energies from the Lifestream to construct a mansion of black stone for any Advents who wished to stay there for any length of time. It was a safe haven from humans, the mansion positioned in the middle of an island that was in the middle of a great lake surrounded by wild forest with dangerous predators and plants. Akito put a spell over the lake and island to hide the mansion from prying eyes, and only those who were of the Advent family could see past the illusion spell. Intruders were not welcome within the forest and would be attacked on sight, but those who were allies to the Advents were welcome to pass without harm. Usually. Not all the animals could be persuaded not to harm what they saw as prey.
------------------------------
Before Akito became the new Advent leader and Winter and Death still ruled, a second war between the Advents and Belka arose. Akito was with her other family, a dark-skinned demon she met by the name of Andreas Nacht, and their daughter, Rayne, when she was summoned for battle. Akito was reluctant to leave her family but her Advent family needed her.

The last thing Akito remembered of Andreas and Rayne was telling Andreas to keep their daughter safe and the 3-4 year old Rayne reaching out and calling to her as Akito left to answer the battle summons. It was the last she saw of them.

Or so she thought.
-----------------------------
During the few years Akito was with Andreas, he taught her a lot about his demonic magic. Akito saw the demon magic as more reliable than toting around a bunch of Materia orbs around, so she switched from using Materia to using the demon magic, which is classified as arcane magic. With the demon magic, Akito didn't have to worry about losing it like with Materia, which with a good enough blow in the right spot, someone could knock the magical spheres out of her body, thus her losing the magic ability of the Materia. Along with the teaching of his magic, Andreas also showed Akito how to summon what he called shadow demons. Shadow demons had various sizes and shapes, all looking like some type of mini dragon minus the wings. While the shadow demons didn't have any real "magic", they made up for it with their sheer aggressiveness and an ability to turn from a mist-like substance to a solid shape to attack. Like Akito, they were able to travel in the shadows, hence where their name came from. And they only listened to the one who summoned them and only took commands in their language, which, of course, was demonic in nature. All this, Andreas taught Akito while they were together.

Sage Yazu fight pt 2

Rose: Oniichama Approached. Rose Worried That Maybe He Would Be Mad At Her. Maybe She Shouldn't Have Spoken. But No. Oniichama Spoke To Okaasama And Oniichama Beside Her. His Words Only Brought Rose More Confusion. Hadn't Akito Stood Behind Rose. Akito Denyed Rose. Didn't That Mean Akito Betrayed Rose? No One Else Did Something Bad. But Oniichama Seems So Sure, So Maybe He Is Right...

But Suddenly Rose Is Completely Unsure. Stunned. Aghast. In Devastated Awe. Rose Wants To Say Stop. But Rose Is Frozen. In A Stupor. Oniichama's Words... Why Wouldn't We Trust Okaasama? She Wonders. She Cannot Comprehend. Too Young. Probably Generations From Whatever History Big Brother Talks About. So She Feels Stricken. Almost As If Big Brother Speaks To Her. Rose Has Not Been Here Long. Rose Does Not Fight. But It's Not Rose's Fault. Rose Couldn't Help That She Wasn't Born Yet.

Suddenly Rose Is Angry Again... No, Not Suddenly. Rose Was Becoming Angry Since Oniichama Started Being Mean. Why Was He Being Bad? Oniichama Is Such A Good Brother. Roses Favorite Brother. So Why Say Mean Things To Okaasama Like That. Rose Is Furious. And Then... Their Eyes Meet. Oniichama Shakes His Head. He Says Something. But Rose Does Not Hear. Eyes Closed. She Is Wailing. A Long, Piercing Cry.

Then Bursts Of Light Beyond Her Pale Lids. Half The Line Of Broken Forest Is In Flames. A Semi Circle Of Fire.

A Deep Breath.
And Another Piercing, Tortured Cry.

The Second Half Of Forest Edge Combusts. A Ring Now. Consuming The Trees. Encirling The Small Clearing In Dancing Flames. Roaring. Physical Manifestation Of Her Rage That Circled Her Heart.

Everything Was All Wrong. Family Is Not Supposed To Be Like This. Rose's Family Is Supposed To Be Perfect. But Akito Is Bad, And Elite-niisan Lets Her Go, And Yazu-niisan Says Terrible Things... Rose Is In A Whirlpool Of Bad Things. Bad Things About Family. Rose Finally Sees. Family Is Not Perfect. Family Is Imperfect.

And So Rose Is Disillusioned.

Rose Thought Family Meant Everything. But Rose Knows Now. Knows That Elite-niisan Lied About Family Being So Important... Knows That Okaasama Did Something Bad In The Past... Maybe Only Yazu-niichama Tells The Truth...

Rose Falls On Her Rear. Small Fists To Her Eyes. Whimpering. The Heat Of Anger Gone. She Doesn't Realize Where. Doesn't Open Her Eyes To See. All That Is Left Is Sadness. Cold Embrace Of Betrayal. Confusion. And Maybe Miserable Truth.

Sefirosu Oblivion: It only takes one bad apple to spoil a whole bunch.

The firm grasp of the Advent released its seat atop Jejija's shoulder, his demeanor remaining unwavering throughout the unexpected turn of events. Herculean limbs folded before him, his posture taking a slight tilt as he leaned against the wall, his smile steadily fading. His mind was contemplative, a dire attempt to grasp what was unraveling before him. Although certainty evaded him, it wouldn't take the wisdom of his mother to grant him an educated guess. Blasphemous talks that lead towards betrayal and discomfort within the family was in the air. Even so, the words of the Sage seemed relatively rational, at least to Oblivion.

This however, was the last of his concern. He knew where his allegiance was, he knew his mother. Wary that sparks were sure to be triggered by the words of the Sage, Oblivion merely tilted his head to the side, those jade peripherals catching hold of the wicked flames of fury- the expulsion of emotions. This was why the Advent had severed themselves from the restraints of emotions, it only brought about unneeded distractions. With the others more in tune with the show Yazu was putting up, Sefirosu pivoted towards that of the Advent child, Rose.

A moment whisked through the sands of time, and there he stood crouched and before Rose. A simple glance at her, and it was evident that she had been hurt by none other than the family she was one with. Words did not come, for even he knew not what to say. Comfort was all he could give her, and reassurance that all would be fine. A simple palm on her shoulder and the Anarchist spoke.

"You and I need to talk when this charade is over."

Sephiroth Elite: What a surprise.

"Yazu!"

The second the Sage Warrior had turned towards the mother of the Advents, the One Winged Angel had stepped between them to meet his gaze. His voice was not so much hostile as irritated, but his expression bore witness to the fact that there were only two individuals, elders, who were allowed to release such words without meeting his blade in an instant. Still, much of what would have been rage was sapped from Elite from the simple fact that this seemed routine.

"Perhaps I should bring some things into perspective for you. You and Jenova are not the same. Though her power exceeds ours, she is not the warrior here, that is no longer her role, and her dirty work was done over two thousand years ago when she decimated our only true threat on this planet, and made the way for our existence...."

Pacing now, the steel in Elite's tone became saturated with contempt and humor.

"Superior...she is Jenova. What being is greater? You? Me? None...and none of us were betrayed by the other Jenovas. You, are the only one who feels that way. And even now, you let this contamination leak into your judgment. Your personal problems will not interfere with our nature. Will you tell cells that they are not controlled by the nucleus? Will you tell an eagle not to fly? Will you tell a lion that he does not rule his domain? We are Advents because Jenova exists. Our power comes from her, we are linked by her, and we serve Jenova. Your mind seems to be the only one that has had trouble understanding that. Even Steel was loyal to his Jenova...and even they were not as close to their children as Astra. To walk among their children? Astra is a gift. Always ready to listen to her children. To tell them the truth.

You act as though she is using us. Yes she does not have to be here. We have been waiting for her return. When the Jenova were here, the Advents were many and great. When the Jenova's left, the Advent faltered. That is a fact. We need her. She did not have to arrive her. And your self-righteousness is getting old. "

The more he spoke, the more Yazu's words became more incredulous. He approached the Sage warrior as his eyes became more narrowed.

"Self-righteousness? What other standard is there above the standard of the highest being? Yours? You believe your opinion, your judgment parallels the will of the head? The will of Jenova?

You and Jenova are not on the same level. She is greater than even I am. And as long as you continue to act so prideful, so selfish as you have been, seeing nothing greater than yourself, you will never be. Jenova is god. I will become a god because I am her son. What will you become?"

His oaken limbs were crossed, as the Piercing Darkness and the Sage Warrior were face to face.

"Nothing is going to change because you resent Jenova due to your past Yazu. Jenova has led the Advent without question for centuries and many generations before our own. We aren't changing that because you have a little grudge on a Jenova that has passed on.

Even I had tribulations, but the Elders and Jenovas were always there for me. I know that they would have been for you, just as Astra would be, but those disgusting feelings you've let fester are driving a wedge and preventing you. She just isn't going to cater to your every emotional whim. She doesn't follow us, we follow her. The relationship to Mother and Children is this way. You've let your problems in the past cloud your relationship with your mother. Its petty. You only focus on Astra's lack of...sentiment, and you fail to see how our mother truly felt about...her daughter. You need to see farther Yazu."

His eyes were now a fiery river of emerald, burning only inches from those of his brother, but his words held the weight of his very soul. The silence afterwards was so that weight could be rested upon.

Jenova Astra: As the former daughter of the Divine left, destroying herself within her own flames, Jenova thought on the misguided beasts words. She must be such a foolish creature to refuse the power and perfection of the Advents, for the lowly existence of a dog. Jenova made no response to Akito's words. The Advent were not likely to need her assistance, and Akito had already shown herself to be useless. The Advent Queen was unlikely to contact her for any reason. However she was lightly concerned with one of her Children's acts. Her piercing jade hues were focused on where Akito had been engulfed, though her words were directed to the Son that had shown himself most recently. The Sephiroth who had offered Akito the chance to leave with her life. It amused the Ethereal One.

I do not know where you got it from, but such Mercy is not a trait you inherited from me.

Then as Fallen gave his thoughts, Jenova would have replied, but the Youngest Advent at her side had piped up, quite impassioned. Distress radiated from the Child so heavily. Her emotions were nearly tangible, but they did not seem to corrupt her judgement in the matter of which she spoke. For the most part, Jenova found herself surprised that Rose, so young, had done well to express a simple fact. Akito had indeed used her family as a shield before they had called her nothing. Such an act was betrayal in and of itself.

You have a sharp mind Little One. Indeed, as an Advent the wolf could have been truly divine, but she chose her path. Your anger is not without good cause, but understand that betrayal is often an unfortunate part of life.

Her gaze was directed away from the Youngest Advent when her more rebellious Son approached and his audacity was something she expected. She was not surprised, nor taken aback. His words were a mere distortion of the truth, that left her, as usual, amused by his Childishness. The problem truly lay in the building emotional distress beside her. Again she could feel Rose growing ever more upset beside her, and at Yazu's final statement, she felt both pride and disgust.

Pride, for the child showed great promise in power, and disgust that this would be a means for its release. The little one's emotions would become problematic for her in the future if Rose did not begin to learn temperance. There was a moment when she was deciding between who to address first, but then her Son, the Piercing Darkness stepped between them and spoke to his Brother, censuring him severely. His words showed him to be truly a Child after her own Heart, one properly aligned with her divine vision. Her attention could thus be given to Rose, who Sefirosu had taken it upon himself to attempt to comfort.

Rose. You are still very young, so these outbursts are to be expected, but you will need to learn to reign in your emotions.

She turned her body to fully face the Child, and reached down to touch her face with her marble digits. She stroked Rose's pale cheek gently and her voice issued in a soft, Motherly way.

It is the way of our Family to not allow such hindrances, My Sweet Rose. You obviously can feel the intesity of emotion, and you obviously cannot handle it; but you must learn. They can guide you easily down a road of self-destruction that I will not lose you to. You are precious to me little one.

Sephiroth; The Fallen Angel: A small grin grew upon the Fallen Angels face, his eyes squinting and narrowing at the Advent child, Rose.

"Hmph."

Indeed, she was just a child, but she was an Advent child. The Fallen Angel didn't know Akito, but it seemed the small child knew much about her. Within Roses blood flew the cells of Jenova, and within that blood was carried knowledge and wisdom. Regardless of what Sephiroth knew about the two's relationship, he was impressed that the young child spoke in such a way.

"A smart, open girl."

No sooner had the hostility brought by Akito begin to slowly descend, did another hostile situation begin to ascend. Questions and assumptions began to arise about Akitos foolish actions, but what would now turn out to be the center of attention would be the remark made by Sage Yazu. He approached the Piercing Darkness and Astra, and at that time, the grin upon his face went away, as his face became blank, emotionless, his eyes upon Yazu.

A passing moment and Yazu finished what he said and returned to Fallens side. It was after that in which Elite would reply with his own remark. The hostility slowly growing, enough to make the little one cower.

"Elite..Yazu..."

His voice was low and carried no hostility, but instead almost a sense of worry. He said the twos name when Elite had come face to face with The Sage Warrior next to him, the river of fiery seeping out of his emerald eyes, directed towards Yazu. It was also at this time that Fallen slightly moved to the side, part of his armored shoulder between the two Elders, his black leather boot making an appearance as well to help the separation.

"...this needs to stop..."

Fallen couldn't pick a side, for no matter what side he picked, it would only make Fallen a hypocrite. He knew where both Elders were coming from, and knew what both of them were saying, but he still wasn't going to choose a side, regardless of how right one of them may be.

"...Elite, it's bad enough we had to witness Akito's foolishness. I understand as a loyal son you wish to protect Jenova from verbal and physical assaults, but if this hostility continues, I feel for the worst."

He looked over, his head nodded towards the direction of Jenova Astra and the young Advent.

"The little one is even beginning to shed tears."

He looked back into the possessed eyes of Elite, and then turned his head towards the side, his head over his shoulder as he looked towards Yazu.

"Yazu....perhaps your fall was harder than mine, but I have been betrayed as well, and I understand how you feel, but what Elite says is true. Perhaps not Astra, but without the will of Jenova, none of us would be who we are today, let only be here overall. Within me is a darkness that chokes me every passing moment. I hold a mutual grudge against Jenovas just as you, but I still manage to show my respects to them, do you know why?

After his question, there was a quick moment of silence.

"It is not because of my overall respect and loyalty to Jenova herself, but my loyalty and respect to my brothers. Elite is my greatest example. Elite holds such a great respect to me, that not even my own darkness can overcome it, for he is indeed The Piercing Darkness. Yazu, I can understand that you don't wish to show such towards Jenova, if so, than don't do it for her...do it because of the respect you have for your brother...do it for Elite."

He turned his head back toward Elite and than Yazu multiple times, and than without looking at either of them, he spoke again.

"No matter how either of you take it, there is one thing I won't allow, and that is the dragging on of such hostility. I fear the worst if this continues and you both share your own view. However, this needs to end. As tough as it may be, we need to walk away from this as though nothing happened, for if this argument continues, it may turn into something more, and that is not something to settle at this time nor place."

Sorrow (Jejija): More. More arguing and more discontent within the supposedly perfect Advent Empire. Akito left, dispersing one problem and bringing yet another. Yazu spoke to Jenova and Elite in a tone Sorrow never thought he would hear again. Hatred, to an extent. Sorrow knew of the fallout between Yazu and Mother long before he had ever become Advent, but that did not make this particular event any better. Now the youngest Advent had begun to wail, yet it did not bother Sorrow. No, not one bit. Sadness.

"That is enough. The only ones I see being rational here are Fallen and Oblivion, Mother even. Rose even! Elite and Yazu, this. needs. to. stop. NOW!"

He shouted the last syllable with great authority, as if he held power over the two Elders. But he did not, but he was Elite's brother. Yet he was nothing in the eyes of Yazu, a worthless, impatient jackass. His Mako induced eyes flicked over to the two bickering and he slowly walked over to them. For an instant, he was actually calm and collected like his brother Oblivion.

"Do you not see what your..our arguing has done to Akito? Look at what it did to Rose!"

Taking anothers advice from long past, Sorrow threw his blade and six-guns down in the dirt. A sign of peace amongst family. His eyes wavered with the tears of a forgotten child, an orphan amongst a bigger family. An ugly duckling in a flock of beautiful ducks.

"I throw down my arms, in an attempt to calm the both of you down!"

Then, a smirk. An everlasting, trademark, satisfied smirk. He walked up to the two bickering amongst themselves, stood between them and wrapped his arms around their shoulders. A brotherly, friendly gesture.

"Whaddya say!? Calm down yeah? You're making the child and me very upset. Heh.

Back to his old self, but not for long. Anger and sadness still swelled inside of him, ready to unleash itself at the given signal. His weapons also radiated with the same swelling aura, signaling the fact that if given the chance; they would return themselves to their rightful owner in less than a second.

Rose: Rose Is Mixed Up. Sad. Bitter. Confused. Little Embarrassed. Shivering. Sadness Is Cold. Not Like Anger. Anger Was Warm. Too Warm. Anger Was Hot. It Burned Her Happiness Away. Rose Doesn't Like Being Sad Or Angry. But Rose Thinks That Angry Was Better Than This. This Lonely, Terrible Cold...

Still Rubbing Her Eyes. Fists Wet. No Good Anymore. Just Wet Fists On Wet Eyes. Useless. Useless Like Rose. But Rose Wont Be Useless Forever. She Wont Wait Till She Gets Big Either. Rose Is Gonna Not Be Useless Soon. Rose Will Be Strong. Then No One Will Betray Rose. No One Will Use Rose. No One Will Talk Down To Rose. Why? Cause Rose Will Hurt Them. Hurt Them Like She Feels Now.
Quieter Now. Rose Is Making The Tears Go Slower. Making The Sadness Into Anger Again. Anger Is Warm. But Its Not Like Before. It Doesn't Feel Too Big. She Doesn't Feel Like Screaming. Just Sitting Until All The Bad Goes Away. Till Her World Isn't Spinning So Out Of Control.

"You and I need to talk when this charade is over."

Rose Stops Wiping Her Eyes. She Stares... Glares... At Oniisan. Sniffling. Making Her Little Body Jerk. But Oniisan's Hand Is Big. It Helps Stop The Shivers. Helps With The Sniffles. Rose Doesn't Shrug From It. Rose Doesn't Know If She Wants To Talk To Him Later. What If He Just Wants To Say Mean Things To Rose Like Akito Did To Everyone. Like Yazu-niichan Did To Okaasama. Like Elite-niisan Seems To Be Doing To Yazu-niisan.

Lip Quivering. Sniffles Coming More Again. But She Is Listening And... Some Of It Makes Sense. But Rose Does Not Like Him Talking To Yazu-niisan Like That. Looking At Him So Mean. Rose Doesn't Like Any Of It. Little Teeth Pierce Her Lip. Rose Doesn't Want To Cry Again. Finally Notices The Fire. Rose Is Sadder. Assuming They Fought While She Wasn't Looking. Then Okaasama Spoke To Rose. Now Rose Is Embarrassed. Rose Is Not Having A Good Night. But Then Okaasama Touches Rose Softly. Rose Knows She Is Not Mad At Rose. Her Words Mean That She Loves Rose. Rose Feels Better. Still Bad... But Better. Rose Looks Between Okaasama And Sefirosu-niisan.

"I'm... I'm sorry Okaasama. I'm sorry Oniisan..."

Rose Is Tired. Mentally Worn Out. Physically Energized. Emotionally Wrecked. Rose Wants To Hug Something. Wraps Her Little Hands Onto Oniisan's Big Hand On Her Shoulder. Leans Into It.

"Rose is just... Rose doesn't like this..."

Rose Looks Pass Oblivion-niisan To Her Other Big Brothers. Two That Argue. Two Trying To Help. She Is Quiet. Reflective. Very Serious For A Moment.

"Everyone tells Rose to be patient, cause Rose will be better when Rose grows up... But Everyone here is growed up, so how come no one acts right? Akito did bad, and Jejija-niisan and Yazu-niisan were gonna fight, and Elite-niisan let bad Akito go, and Yazu-niisan was really rude to Okaasama..."

Rose Frowns. Disappointed In Those She Looked Up To. Shakes Her Head. Green Eyes Focused On Brother Elite And Brother Yazu As She Speaks. Young Voice Very Firm.

"Rose thinks... that if this is how the growed ups act - betray each other, fight their Family, and be mean to each other - then Rose shouldn't grow up. There is so much trouble with growed ups.
Rose does not want to act like any of that."

Sage Yazu: Resentment.

This was the emotion that flowed through his veins at this moment. Not only towards one of his only true Brothers, but towards the rest of the Advents in general. Because they could trust that which he could not. And Elite was correct - Yazu's rage at Jenoba and those ancient family members that abandoned him festered and grew to infuriation at the rest of the family. This he could never deny, and he had known for some time; he simply buried it, six feet under, only for it to resurface at points like this one.

As the Piercing Darkness came to stand before him, Yazu's teeth gritted tight, because he knew that nearly uncontrollable amounts of rage were about to seep from his body. Here. Now. His rationality was being cracked and he was moving deeper and deeper into unchecked fury. Depicted by his brilliant irises flashed ever more vivid, he refused to back down, even under the weight of Sephiroth Elite's words. The Fallen Angel moved between them, and Jejija's words were loud, pleading, begging them to stop for the sake of the child - but the Sage Warrior's ears had deafened all of this, favoring the only person he'd ever considered his equal. This was a confrontation that had been a long time coming.

"They left me to die long before I ever dreamed of harboring such hatred." he said, his gaze narrowing towards the Advent Prince, "I tried to reconcile. You believe that I should simply let such resentment go, yet you have no suffered as I have suffered. Understand that it is difficult to have your Mother to walk out on you, only for an emulation to appear years later and have everyone expect you to trust the newcomer. She is different, but she bears the same image. She bears the same aura, the same power, the same voice. How can I trust so easily when she behaves exactly the same as the last?"

He shook his head gently; being sure to keep his anger in check, "Perhaps with time, I can trust her. And with trust Jenoba, I can trust the Family. I am trying - I trust Rose. Which is leagues more than I can say for the rest. I am making the effort for you, Elite. And for Steel, and Rose.

"If it were anyone else, they would have a bullet in their brain in an instant; I respect you, Sephiroth. In my eyes, you are the original. But I stand by one thing I said - Jenoba could have made an effort to speak with Akito to understand her words and the emotion underlying them. Jenoba indirectly called Akito a 'beast'. The same thing she had said to me. She should think about what she says before opens her mouth."

Yazu stepped around the Piercing Darkness and approached Rose. He didn't spare a single glance to Jenoba, but he crouched next to the Calamity, so that he was directly in front of the younger. "I'm sorry. I have allowed for too long my past get in the way of my present. Perhaps you can teach me to see as you see. To speak as you speak. Clearly."

He held out of one his hands to Rose, waiting. "How about it? Will you teach me?"

Akito: Void of darkness. Lifeless. Utter loneliness. She couldn't bear it any longer.

A seven foot mystic creature materialized out from the fallen trees to approach Fallen and Elite, stopping within nine feet from Fallen, the closer of the two. As it did so, the creature solidified into an actual being, something that looked like an evil dog. Its blood red skin appeared almost black in the dark. It had ragged ears; the left one bearing a single silver hoop at the base. Even though its teeth weren't bared its uppermost fangs dripped over its bottom lip a good inch, the deadly sharp points glinting in the moon's light.

The Beast's soulless black eyes weren't fixated on anything, but its head was turned toward the others, the dark gray ring the only thing showing it had a pupil dilated. It didn't speak, it just listened, its ears lowered. It seemed to be waiting to be addressed, or to be shunned.

This was the true image of the Wolf.

Sage Yazu fight pt 1

Akito: An open space that measured roughly fifty feet in all directions from the center of it lay silent with a full grown birch tree standing at the south end of the field in foot long grass. Darkness was just beginning to consume the area, rousing the crickets from the silence. A full moon was in store that night. A sign that some of the most dangerous creatures would be awakening.

A feminine but well muscled figure sat quietly on the second to last branch of the birch. Clothed in slightly baggy leather pants, a plain black t-shirt, and had shoulder length black hair that shone silver in the moonlight that was now shining down, her gaze was aimed toward the east, her right hand in a fist, her chin resting on the knuckles. Her light gray eyes had a far away look to them as she sat with one leg dangling off of the branch, her booted foot swaying lightly with the breeze. Her five foot tinted samurai rested in its case, which was strapped to her back with a weapon harness, and the black .45 look a like gun was located in its holster on her right thigh.

Even though her gaze was unfocused it didn't mean she wasn't aware of what was happening around her. She listened with hearing so sharp that she could plainly make out the whispering of the wind brushing against the tree leaves, the whoosh of air as an owl found its next meal, and the sound of mosquitoes some ten feet away near the ground. Also, her sense of smell was just as good as her hearing, so she didn't worry much about an enemy sneaking up on her.

Sage Yazu: 'Twas indeed a ominous night - one filled with danger, wrought with suspicion. In the velvet black that covered the area, lit barely by the pale glow of the celestial sphere, the monsters emerged. Both in the physical and metaphorical, many different beings would show their true colors in the dead of the night; psychopaths would murder their families, women and children would be raped by sexual predators, and world leaders would be conspired against and assassinate. And yet, to the individual who had faced the worst betrayal of them all - the turning of his "family's" back on him - this was simply another day at the office.

The young Advent laying in the grass several yards from him would never comprehend the things that the Family had done to him. And he hoped that she would never experience these pains inflicted upon him - things that would surely shatter everything she had ever known.

Dual signature weapons laid dormant in the holsters on his left hip and hugging his lower back snugly. Clad in black leather that hugged his body, his long coat was zipped all the way up to his throat, save for a few inches at the bottom. A silver waterfall sprayed eloquently in the breeze, and brilliant emerald feline hues gazed, enraptured, in the young woman in the grass. He had heard much of this child, and yet had never seen her before.

"Hello, Akito."

His voice carried ever-so-softly on the wind in the clearing as his right hand rose, a emerald and cerulean aura wrapped around his forearm. With blurring speed, he slung that arm at the area in which the young woman laid - a blast of concentrated raw magickal energy. It would deal a decent bit of damage if it struck the Lycan.

It was time to see if Elite had recruited strong ones.

Jenova Astra: The small clearing, kissed by the light of the moon would seem to be Holy for it had indeed been blessed by the pressence of a Divinity. The stolen rays of the silver sphere were reflected and amplified by the Immortal One so that her skin shone like diamonds casting a shimmering brilliance on the tall grasses around her. Curtaining his perfect visage seemed to be a veil of light; her silver tendrils illuminated by the moon's gaze. It seemed to lurk in the sky just for this reason, to witness and grace the phenomena that is the Advent Goddess.

In a body relative to the one that fooled the ancient beings of this planet so long ago, the Celestial Being stood at the opposite end of the clearing from her Children, her emerald hues seemingly focused on the scene before her. Unmoving in her excellence, she would seem a statue of ineffable beauty and radiance as she gazed on the two individuals with concealed pleasure. It more than satisfied her to witness her Children interacting. If more should present themselves, her gratification would increase, for the ethereal bond that linked all of her Children should also have physical confirmation.

The voice of her Advent Son reached her ears and brought with it a curious sense of amusement. She had heard his voice with her own ears at such proximity only once before. That prior meeting had been entertaining, but had also revealed to her an issue of great importance. Hubris. For now, she was here to simply observe the interrelations of her Children, and possibly behold the gifts they had been blessed with.

Akito: Soft footsteps in the grass told her just how close both of them were to her. However, she had felt their presence and smelled them long before she heard their approach. Yazu was on her left side, about 5 yards away, and then there was none other than Mother, Jenova, on the opposite side of the clearing from her children.

Or was it just one that was present now?

Akito was in mid-stand on the branch when he spoke and his hand rose. By the time he had released the energy at her, she was already gone from the branch, no where to be seen. At least, not at first.

It was when Yazu had drawn in his arm to release the energy that she had acted. Becoming as blur as she leaped down from the tree to the ground, she took off into the forest to get about ten feet behind him.

Several things happened between the time it took her to go from the birch to get behind him. As soon as her feet hit ground, Akito casted Alert on herself, which would help to prevent attacks from coming from behind her because of the spell, and at the same time she pulled the tinted samurai from its sheath with her left hand. The second thing; right before she hit the tree line the all too familiar silver mist consumed her body completely, causing her to be even harder to see despite that the mist shimmered a bit when she moved, but only her outline could be seen. Third thing that happened was that as soon as she was ten feet and behind him, Akito attacked with her sword, running up to the tree he was in, and jumping up to deal a blow from the sharp edge of the blade to his unprotected back. As she ran an aura formed around her right hand, the reason for it undetermined for the moment.

A little over a second from the tree to get behind set opponent. Another to attack set target. This is all it took for Akito to react, and most were thanks for those who had defeated her in the past, who only succeeded in helping her get stronger.

Sage Yazu: Yazu knew that this night, he would be performing for an audience; he felt her presence in the vicinity. Her shimmering blue skin would be difficult to miss, even out of his peripheral vision - but still, he paid her no mind. His parting statement with her stood, and she had yet to show him that he could trust her. And here was his opportunity to demonstrate the fruits of immeasurable power that his own rebellion had bestowed him.

Incredibly agile, even more so than his brothers Kadaaju and Rozzu, Yazu stood up on the tree branch and drew the right Velvet Nightmare as Akito dashed over to his position. His legs bent, and he allowed his body to sway backwards just a little. He then launched himself backwards from the branch just before his opponent reached his position - her blade would strike only air, and as a result, her back would be facing Yazu, who was already prepared for a counter-attack.

The Sage Warrior knew the subtleties of the rewards observation could bring; before he launched his initial assault, he confirmed the younger Advent's body type and shape, and took this into account. And then, as she made her counter-attack, he analyzed the aura around her off-hand, which illuminated half that entire arm. Immediately, Velvet Nightmare was pointed at the area he believed her sword arm's shoulder was, and fired two, hoping to disable that arm for the duration of the battle. Under his breath, Yazu muttered a two-syllable word, and the area in front of him turned slightly off-color.

Akito: A smirk appeared on Akito's lips as her samurai struck only air and she came over the spot where Yazu had been. She heard the two shots behind her, but she didn't pay them any heed. Instead, she landed on the branch he was just on, but then continued to another branch a few feet away before turning to face him. By this time the bullets would catch up to Akito, but they never reached her flesh. The silver mist acted like a barrier against any kind of physical attack, so in this case, the bullets were just reflected off of it.

'Nice to meet you too, brother."

She said in a low, monotone voice. Suddenly, a deep rumbling in the ground could be heard as she said the last words of her sentence, the cause being her using her own method of Quake3. A split second after the rumbling started three huge spears of jagged earth shot out of the ground right where Yazu would most likely come to rest.

The middle spear, being the biggest of the three and measuring twenty feet high, rose up eight feet behind Yazu, knocking over a few trees in the process. The other two, measuring roughly fifteen feet shot up six feet on either side of him to create a sort of three sided rock cage. As the third spear would rise, Akito refreshed the aura around her right hand since it was used in summoning up the spears of rock. Now it was a light blue color. Soon after this she raised her .45 look alike pistol in her right hand and aimed at Yazu, returning the bullets he shot at her.

Okaasama, when I fight will you watch me too?

Jenova Astra: Emerald hues followed the Advent Daughter's movements naturally. Jenova was content with the speed with which Akito executed her attacks. Power without speed made for clumsyness, and easily evaded attacks; neither of those were acceptable traits in this Family. Her Misgiven Son had also shown satisfying physical dexterity as he dodged Akito, though Jenova expected more out of the both of them. They were surely only sparring, toying with each other.

It was not until the ground shook and the pillars of earth came forth that this Advent Queen was inclined to think that they may take this even slightly more seriously. The thought pleased her, for her Children could learn from each other. Their destructive destinies could easily be enhanced by such games as Akito and Yazu now played before her. As it seemed a third Child desired to join in on.

Though her face did not contort into any smile, nor her body into a posture other than her proud tall stance, a certain affection arose within the Advent Goddess for this new arrival to the field. The Child's inquiry reached her ears in its youthful voice, and Jenova was silent for a moment before anwering. A dome seemed to appear, nearly transparent, within a five meter radius of herself. It glinted in the light of the moon before seemingly disappearing as suddenly as it had appeared.

Without uttering a word, Jenova had casted reflect. The perimeter covered the Child at her side, and would fufill its purpose of blocking and miguided attack that may have possibly harmed the Youngest Advent. After a moment, the voice of the Advent Mother could be heard, firm in the mind of the young one, giving an answer to her inquiry.

'I will watch you very closely, even before your first battle, Young Rose. You are one of the few untainted Children, for you will grow knowing only the Pure Ideology of our Family. I expect a great deal from you because of this Child.'

Sage Yazu: Yazu's silver brow drew together in interest as he observed the failure of his projectiles to reach their destination. He knew his aim was dead-on, so it was not his accuracy the faltered - the only plausible explanation was the mist surrounding the Hybrid; for now, physical attacks would be ineffective. However, the Sage Warrior's opponent had never faced him, and none of the current Advents had ever beheld his true strength.

The Power of Magick.

Yazu glanced behind him as the spear shot up, and he immediately re-oriented himself in the air. Grappled the spear and swung around on it, through the opening between it and the third spear, then back around, making sure to keep Akito in his sight. Upon the report of bullets firing, Yazu said a single word;

"Trine."

A common, yet powerful magickal attack in the realm of Gaia. A large pyramid surrounded Akito, with a smaller pyramid encased, also surrounding the Young Hybrid. Unto the center of these pyramids, a powerful electric charge was released, capable of paralyzing Akito in mere seconds and killing her if her exposure was prolonged. Of course, Yazu was confident that the other would not allow herself to be caught that long, and was prepared to take the necessary countermeasures should his magick prove to be too powerful.

The bullets Akito fired would strike a barrier in front of Yazu, white in color, and simply fall to the ground - the two-syllable incantation he had spoken earlier was none other than Protect, the spell used to stop physical blows. His free hand, grasping the spear, began to glow with the same aura as the one used to make the initial attack at the beginning of the battle.

Sorrow (Jejija): "Let's be honest here. I hated the Advents at first. The whole ideology of a massive family, united under one entity was laughable; pitiful at the most. I thought, who needed family? Such a thing could only bring a capable warrior down. But then I met big Brother. I stared in awe at his magnificence, each step he took was filled with grace. Power seeped out of him like a waterfall and it was then, that the power he held enticed me."

The smug voice of arguably the tallest Advent shot through the air like an arrow in a battlefield. Black leather boots akin to Sephiroth's touched the soft soil next to the duo, the youngest Advent and herself. Mother. A beauty to look at in the flesh, a grace to stand next to her. Short, silver hair kindly went along with the Advent's rough facial features. Mako induced eyes glistened at the sight of his true Mother. A complacent smirk crept upon the newly recruited Advent's face, contradicting his own title Advent Sorrow.

"It was then that I realized that a true warrior needs family. Just like any other Human needs air to breathe, I needed a true Mother."

Both war-torn hands slipped into the pockets of his red trench coat, which had stopped swaying from side to side as usual. A black shirt with many rips and tears covered his torso. He stood at a staggering eight feet, seven inches. Thus intimidating his opponents, albeit for a little bit. But he doubted his height alone would intimidate Mother, seeing as how she transcended both time and space; death even. Black leather boots twisted to the side, his visage now locked upon the two Advents engage in battle. A wonderful sight it was and oh how much they seemed to enjoy fighting with one another. Then he flicked his eyes over to his Mother, watching her out of the corner of his right eye.

"Like little Sister has said here..when I fight; will you watch me? I don't want to disappoint my true Mother."

He stood there, contemplating on life's values and qualities. War torn hands still resided in the trench coat's pockets, his own blade of glory resided upon his back. The blade itself shined with an unnatural glory, tainted by the very heavens themselves. Yet he was not affected by the heavenly power, seeing as how he was once an Angel himself. Residing in holsters on his hips, were his most dangerous and widely recognized weapons of glory. His six-guns, the barrels themselves cascaded with the lifestream itself; allowing infinite bullets to be shot. This was the man monster who had fought many a war, lost many a brethren and friends, lived many a tale and experienced death; firsthand more than once. This was Advent Sorrow, the Last Gunslinger.

Akito: At the appearance of the two triangles, Akito casted Dispel, causing the magic attack to vanish. For a fleeting second she considered to return the favor like she had with the bullets, but on second thought she realized she was far too close to him to issue an attack like she had in mind. Instead, she did another modified attack known as Hell Firaga.

Three spheres of fire, each three feet in diameter, formed out of the aura around Akito's right hand to speed much like a bullet, if not a bit slower, toward Yazu. About half way they spread out for a better hitting range. During this, Akito moved yet again, becoming a blur like before as she moved deeper into the forest to vanish in the darkest of shadows.

Some thirty feet into the forest, and much closer to the audience of three, Akito came to rest on a thick branch of some tree. Both her sword and gun were back in their cases, both useless for the time being. A fresh aura, this one a dull ice blue, enveloped around her right hand again.

Hopefully the balls of fire had distracted Yazu long enough for her to get to her current position without him knowing exactly where she was. As she became motionless the mist made her invisible. Of course he could most likely feel her presence, but he wouldn't know her exact spot unless she moved to cause the mist to shimmer.

There shall be a change. The time is almost up...

Jenova Astra: You were such a foolish creature in the past. If you are wise, the understanding you have now should shape your existence.

Jenova's attentive stare did not turn from the action before her at her Son's approach. The invisible barrier that surrounded both her and the child momentarily dispelled as Her Son entered, and as stealthily as it did so, it came back when he finally stood beside her. She called no attention to this, her emerald hues taking interest in the casting abilities of her Son Yazu and more so interested in how Akito would respond. Though her eyes were focused on the distance, her hearing was attentive to the Children beside her. She was silent for a moment longer, after Jejija echoed his younger sibling.

I will watch if you direct my gaze. It is my desire to witness the skills of all of you. I expect nothing less than Pride to be the effect. To cause Me disappointment would be a punishable offense.

Her voice was full of solemnity as it sounded across unmoving lips. The glowing optics of the ethereal one were still watching Akito. Her own omniscience easily allowed her to follow her daughter's path, while her gaze directed itself instead to Yazu. Jenova was able to place Her Daughter's location in the dense forest that surrounded them as she would wonder at Yazu's response. It amused the Advent Mother that Akito seemed to be hiding from her Brother, but she did not speak on this. Instead, she continued with an inquiry of her own. This question she directed to the two of the Children that flanked her side.

Sorrow, Rose. Are there any of your siblings that you are particularly close to?

Sage Yazu: Yazu simply smiled as Akito's attempt at ceasing the assault failed. The Magick known as Dispel was only effective against defensive and magick-based enhancements one's person - such as the incantation Yazu had cast, Protect. All she would find is that Trine had simply cast itself around her even though she were invisible. This was because her physical disappearance didn't matter to Yazu - and she still didn't realize that she fought against no normal Advent. Second-in-command of the Empire, she would find that his strength rivaled his intelligence soon enough.

The Elder Advent delayed Trine's attack until she ceased moving, and then allowed both pyramids to unleash their powerful electric charge. As the fireballs moved towards Yazu's position, he shook his head.

"Humus."

Yazu leapt from the spike to a tree behind him, sitting on the branch and holstering Velvet Nightmare. On his command, all three of the spikes detached themselves from the earth and spin around rapidly, the Hell's Firaga striking a dissipating, unable to penetrate the formidable shield. Then, Yazu smiled again.

"No more hiding, sweetheart." At that very moment, the trunks of all the trees within a hundred-yard radius to the center birch snapped, and Yazu leapt from his branch to the center area as it occurred. The incantation spoken was of no tongue known to Gaia, wielding magickal power beyond the Planet's comprehension. He was already sick of her impudent games. The aura around his hand grew the length of his forearm, and it was glowing even more brilliantly than before.

"Now come out and fight." Yazu said, smile gone, "Jenova is watching you. Show her your true abilities - or is it cowardice that passes for strength with the Advent nowadays? Perhaps you're waiting to change? A shame - the full moon won't help you in this bout."

Divine Slayer: As the dark night continued to devour any trace of light, the sound of a battle commencing in the middle of the terrain. The shine of spells materializing in the ether sparked as one of the legendary advent creatures known as Yazu the Sage Warrior seemed to be toughening out one of his fellow advent siblings. As the sounds of the battle continued, silent footsteps slowly made their way towards the battle grounds. The devouring darkness grew larger in its expansion as the moons light slowly began to dim. The winds blew to the battle as if it had no other choice in the matter. This was truly an auspicious night but one that was going to give a show to the advent goddess herself as she watched her children in action.

As the fight continued, the sight of lustrous sterling white tresses shined an omnipotent glow as they careened from the left to right. Dangling from the cranium of a pale perfect complexion being that which can only be a descendent of the angels came the youngest of the advent brethren....The one revered as "The Divine - Slayer" Zeo Wraithe, came walking towards the confrontation. His silent demeanor was only matched with his emotionless visage as his viridian orbs bore no feeling, no contentment towards the situation. The darkness ever so inviting towards the advent child as it yearned to have him in its embrace longer still had already devoured the whole forestry area that the young angel emerged from.

The young advent loomed from the darkness as if he came from the abyss itself wearing his usual black attire. Upon his waste was his divine weapon known for its ability for lacerating clean through skin without even drawing a single drop of blood. The blade itself had unbelievable slicing and slashing power which rivaled that of the legendary behemoth sword "Masamune". As the young advent angel kept walking, his visage gazed upon the battlefield in which both of the combatants were present. He felt the presence of his divine mother present within the surroundings, but the reason why he had come was something in which only the angel of wrath himself knew. He stood and watched as the futile attempt from Akito to avoid the danger of the lightning magic known as "Trine" failed with her casting of the magic known as Dispel. He wondered how she was going to survive until his saw that Yazu had slowed the advancement of the lightning triangles. He wondered if the infamous Sage Warrior was showing mercy to his young advent sister.

Akito: Showing mercy? Ha! Was there even such a thing, even pure, anymore? It didn't seem so at the time. It was just toying, basically. Or was toying with an opponent now considered showing mercy?

Nonetheless...

She sensed Trine's upcoming attack right before it occurred. Her eyes widened a bit in anger as she sensed it, but then the look turned into one of slight pain as Trine started taking effect on her body, making her muscles jerk. Managing to leap to the ground even though her muscles were spasmodic, she landed, did a front roll, and stood up for a mere four milliseconds before becoming a blur to get behind the four watchers within a second now that she was free from Trine's grasp. She was panting a bit from the cause of having to dodge so many trees as they were falling as she stopped a couple feet more than ten feet behind them. Her steelish colored hues glittered dangerously as her gaze rested on the audience, only to revert back to Yazu.

"Why are you here? Leave."

The last word came out as a low snarl as Akito took her tinted five foot samurai out of its sheath. But even before the blade was completely out she had casted Freeze, yet another she had modified to her liking.

Shards of ice, formed from the very moisture in the air, suddenly appeared a second later. There were eight shards, each at a height of twelve feet and had smaller shards sticking off of the sides; these being various lengths up to an inch or shorter. All eight shards were in a circle that measured seven feet in radius around Yazu; the target. Seeing as the shards had risen so suddenly, seemingly to appear out of no where, trying jump over them would result in getting impaled since they were angled inward to try to entrap their target in an ice cage. And trying to go between the shards would result in getting seriously injured because of the little space between each shard and the smaller shards on the bigger ones.

As the shards would come into sight, a cold smirk crossed Akito's face as she stood behind the audience. She stepped just enough out from behind Jenova to slash the air directly in front of her to make an X-shape formed by two lines of purplish energy from her dark blade.

Right when she was stepping from behind Jenova she spoke to Yazu,

"Do you wish me to end... your suffering?!"

Right when she was saying 'your suffering' was when Akito created the blade beams. The two lines sped as fast as a bullet past Jenova, barely missing her right shoulder as the X-shape quickly grew to be ten feet tall and ten feet wide as it made its course toward Yazu. After this, a new aura consumed Akito's right arm, an indefinite color.

"The moon is useless to me, dear Brother, " Akito practically growled. "I don't need the moon to change forms."

Jenova Astra: Being an individual of celestial origin, the words her dearest Yazu spoke were understood and Jenova reacted silently to them as the spell took affect, breaking the trunks of the trees. The Wall she had casted around the audience (when the Youngest Child had appeared) contracted to half its size, narrowing down to two and a half meters. It's diameter, with Jenova at its center, was still enough to enclose the two children flanking her, while being sure not to impede on the destruction of the trees not far from her rear. She had done this in an instant, without having physically uttered a word, though the spell was no less powerful for this reason.

The taunts of her Son Yazu were well grounded. Akito's antics seemed worthy of lower creatures, but the Advent Goddess was patient. If Akito was smply biding her time, then so be it. Jenova was observing her Children, Akito in paticular, for she was well aware that Yazu was far more gifted than many of his siblings.

It was when the Advent Daughter placed herself behind the Advent Queen, that Jenova found herself not only unamused, but vexed by Akito's actions as well as her words. Only family was present at this gathering, but there was a new addition to the audience that Jenova would not have been surprised for Akito to address so brazenly. Not surprised, but not pleased either.

When the x-shaped slash of darkness that would have crossed Jenova's shoulder was unleashed, the Advent Goddess realized that Akito had not taken notice to the nearly imperceptible shimmer that surrounded the Advents that watched. Reflect, the Wall that she had casted about them earlier in this skirmish, would not simply stop the advance of the blade beams shrouded in darkness, but would also launch them back the direction they came, though at a slower speed, with weaker attack power. The barrier fell after it reflected the attack, and yet another instantaneously arose in its stead, as if it were the same one, the same size in diameter.

It was then that the Divinity's voice would echo firm and grave within the minds of her Children. A warning to Akito and any others who would position themselves behind their own family in combat as her Daughter had now.

'Family is not to be used as a shield.'

...Akito-neesan wouldn't do that, Okaasama. Wouldn't use Rose, Jejija-niisan, and Okaasama like that...

Would She?

Sorrow (Jejija): A peculiar thing had happened. His Advent Sister stepped behind Mother and used her as a shield, just as Mother stated a few seconds ago. Sorrow growled with anger, Mako induced eyes narrowing and leather boots twisting around to face his Sister.

"Akito. Do you realize what you're doing? You're using us as shields. Your family. Mother!"

He shouted, thunder and lightning cracking the sky with heaven's wrath. Sorrow grew angrier at his Sister's foolish act.

"Mother..if I may ask; can I partake in this foolish escapade? Hell, it's easier on both of us."

He smirked with anticipation of his Mother's answer, drawing his own blade and eying Akito with a playful gaze.

Sage Yazu: "Hiding behind Jenova, hmm?" Yazu said, watching Akito as she dodged through the trees, ending up right behind the Calamity. He shook his head in disappointment, and could only laugh out loud as the ice spears surrounded him on all sides. He waved his right hand carelessly as they imploded, and spoke a single word.

"Glacialis."

Immediately, the spears halted, spun around, and pointed in Akito's direction. Yazu began walking slowly in that direction, peering past the other Advent into the Lycan's eyes, his brows drawing together in annoyance. He shook his head slightly once more when Akito's own attack had been reflected back at her.

"Perhaps I should show you a more familiar range of Spells. Shell. Flare." At his words, golden tendrils of light drew around the air to form a sphere around Jenova, Rose, Zeo, and Jejija, protecting them from the latter spell, which took effect the instant the sphere completed itself.

The molecules in close proximity to Akito began moving furiously in the air, instantaneously combusting and creating a massive explosion that was very much capable of ending the battle then and there. As he awaited the dust to clear, he heard Jejija's request. His eyes flashed their brilliant emerald hue as he spoke authoritively to the younger Advent.

"You will stay your blade. This is between she and I - I don't want to make you look unworthy in front of your mother."

Sorrow (Jejija): "Heh. You tend to make yourself look bigger than you are. Perhaps when you're done dealing with Sister, I'll fight you."

He smirked, beginning to tap his blade against his shoulder blade lightly. It was obvious he was anxious for a fight, something to show Mother that he was worthy of fighting alongside Big Brother. His Mako induced eyes flashed in the dim moonlight, reflecting what little amusement he could get from this battle.

"I'm sure Mother would approve, it's a win-win situation. I get to fight you and you actually get a challenge. Though I must warn you, I'm much more direct and in-your-face than Sister. I just hope you're fast enough to catch up with me."

The playful tone he took upon now indicated that he only meant to provoke Yazu into fighting Sorrow, something he always did. Laughing, he turned back around. His red trench coat stayed itself, once more as Sorrow slipped his left hand into a pocket. Short silver hair began to become drizzled with what little raindrops could penetrate the barrier, earning a frown from Sorrow.

Sage Yazu: "Your overzealous nature would keep me from crossing blades with you more than anything."

Yazu's words came immediately after Jejija spoke, his gaze never wavering from the cloud of dust that was gradually settling after his powerful Magickal attack. He scoffed slightly.

"You have a long way to go before you can compare to either my Brother or myself in combat."

Sorrow (Jejija): "Looks to me like you're just scared to fight someone worthy of your time. I don't think you've ever seen me fight, let alone come out from hiding long enough to even get to know me."

A satisfied grin arose onto his lips. His taunting was hitting a nerve somewhere within Yazu, he could sense it; annoyance ran deep. Perhaps Yazu might be telling the truth, perhaps Jejija did have a long way before he could compare himself to Big Brother or himself.

"All my life I've heard that. I'm not worthy, I'm not successful, I'm not strong enough, blah blah blah. To be honest, I grew out of caring about what other people thought of me a long time ago. I wasn't put through misery and hell twice over to be put down by someone like you, Yazu."

A snarl rewarded the world with anger from Sorrow. He turned around, Mako induced eyes narrowed and gazed directly at Yazu. Once more, the blade tapped against Jejija's right shoulder, the brilliant shine showing itself; making itself known within this world.

"Perhaps I can step out right now. Perhaps I can prove myself worthy of Mother's and your time. I'm aware I might lose, but odds are; so might you. Don't act so high and mighty..."

His gaze was now directed to a patch of grass outside of the barrier that seemed to be unaffected by the falling rain, its brilliant green blades unwavering in the battle.

"..that's what brought me down, twice."

Sefirosu Oblivon: "No."

Ebony gloved phalanges fell upon the shoulder of the brethren who so deemed to prove his worth to Mother, Jejija. Oblivion had his eye set on the warrior for quite some time now, and although it seemed he was not regarded in ways those before him, the Anarchist knew quite well that he was vital within this family. Those emerald hues saw past the adolescent display of annoyance put forth, his aura having been withheld from detection until this point.

The trifle within the family needed to end, and he would get involved if such was required. There was nothing wrong with sibling rivalry, for he held the same tendencies with Elite, Death and even Sage. However, to fight each other in hopes of vying for Mother's attention was pointless. Spilling their own blood was something that if anything would put the Goddess in distress.

"That's just Yazu being.. Yazu. No need to get all worked up over it. Your in this family, and you are our brother. You don't have to prove that to anyone. The same goes for everyone."

Akito: As her Bladebeam attack was reflected back, Akito merely went beneath it to avoid getting hit since there was enough space for her to go under. As she came up from her ducking under her attack, her gaze met Yazu's; cold and merciless.

"Do you not understand, Jenova? A Lycan has no family. They have packs, but even that is very rare in their society."

Sensing Yazu's attack prior to the beginning movement of the molecules in the air, Akito casted MBarrier around herself to stop the attack from harming her. In the cloud of dust, Akito let the mist take over. Her newly formed body ripped with rage as the Advents bickered foolishly. In a way, it made her sick just to hear it. The dust cloud started to clear, and that was when Akito stepped out of it and into view.

Now she stood taller than any of them; a thirteen foot black wolf that stood on its hind legs like a human, had blazing red hues, and carried a scimitar in her left clawed paw while a nine foot unbreakable whip coiled loosely around her right forearm. The aura from before reappeared on her right paw. Once within view of the others, Evil Akito roared, making the very ground quake from it.

"Silence-fools. Your-bickering-is-worthless-and-pathetic."

Even as she spoke, Evil Akito traded her scimitar for her whip and within a millisecond whipped it out toward Yazu in attempt to wrap it around him and cause severe damage. As the whip was traveling toward its target at a blinding speed, it made a malicious hissing noise.

Sorrow (Jejija): "Apparently little Sister doesn't like our discussion Oblivion. Heh."

He eyed Akito even after she transformed into the thirteen foot monstrosity, another smirk falling onto his face. He was neither scared nor impressed, but disappointed at his Sister's transformation. It wasn't quite what he expected, or rather what he wanted. Perhaps he could use this time to squeeze out a few insults towards his Sister.

"Ohhhh! Look at you Akito, so big and mighty. Ohh I bet you think you could take on all of us at once don't you?"

He stepped forward, facing Akito; watching and waiting to see what she did.

Sephiroth; The Fallen Angel: "Hmph..."

The angel was faineant, his power nor smell being emitted from his muscular structure. Was it this reason why his arcanum identity had been kept such for so long? Perhaps, or maybe it was because the link that chained him and the advents together as a whole had been broken oh so many years ago. Only one warrior beneath his tattered black wing could hold such a bond to reveal his location, one who has lived just as long, or perhaps longer than he, one who has watched the pestilent realm manifest into what it is today. Yazu, The Sage Warrior.

Sephiroth, The Legendary SoldierFallen Angel was the only Sephiroth that had carried such a title with great and terrible meaning. However, he was not the only advent that had their spirit stained by such a catastrophic blow. It was not their connection through the cells and will of Jenova that bound them, but their history and Fall.

Betrayal. A single black feather from the distorted black wing 200 feet directly above The Sage Warrior had fallen. Ironically, it had slowly descended and landed right in front of the Sage Warriors feet. Betrayal, that is what was burnt into the black feathered wing.

His honor, his wisdom, his courage, his entire will and soul was pored into a holy grail for his goddess, giving her what she desired, only for her to spit at back at him and leave him with something worse than death, she left him with nothing. He was a puppet, and the mother he thought he could love, cherish and trust, had been pulling his strings, using him for her own selfish desires, and when she finally saw fit, she threw him away like a dying dog. The Sephiroth who was known as The Legendary Soldier was cast from the heavens above, his wing scarred for life, and his heart he opened for his mother, corrupted by sin. The death of a legendary soldier brought forth the birth of a Fallen Angel.

Their were now two warriors within the area with an un-comprehendible amount of prestige and strength, and two warriors who had a fallen further then the flaming abyss in hells bowels.

"Having fun...Yazu?..."

His voice deep, yet soft, echoed towards the ears of the legendary sage warrior beneath him as he slowly descended from the sky above, landing only a mere 15 feet behind him. Yazu and Sephiroth had very little to any interactions with one another in the past, but have most certainly heard about one another. They both had recently returned from a hiatus, or so he heard, and The Fallen Angel was taking the opportunity at hand to have a small chat with his kin. He was aware that Yazu was currently in a battle with Akito, however, she was currently being criticized by one of the newer advents for her cowardice actions. This may leave an opportunity for Yazu to respond, if not, the emerald hues that illuminated because of the moons radiant glow would be watching the sage warrior do battle. Gracious it was for Fallen to behold the unique and divine strength from his kin. Oh the more would it be for him to hear the latin tongue be spoken, to see his godly spells be cast. Sage was the successor of the mage gods Boccob and Benidres after all, was he not? To see the ancient spells he kept hidden within his large arsenal of Magick would certainly be a sight to see. However, to use such would be a fact of certainty to the current chosen Jenova, that the word "challenger" would have no existence to Yazu, as Akito wouldn't even prove to be a challenge at all to his true power.

Sage Y azu: And still, even now, the Lycan believed that she had a chance against an individual of his ability. As her whip lashed out at Yazu, it appeared to him as though it were moving in slow motion. He had faced the blade of Sephiroth Elite himself - there was much the younger Advent had to learn. He simply ducked right under the whip as it moved.

"Why yes."

His right hand, in a blurring movement, had withdrawn his right Velvet Nightmare, the barrel pointed directly at Akito's chest at the same time he ducked. The trigger was pulled, and immediately a brilliant emerald tracer depicted a line leading from the weapon's barrel to Akito's chest. An ear-splitting report from the weapon erupted, and the recoil from the strength of the shot sent Yazu's right arm over his head - even his enhanced strength had trouble firing a shot of that magnitude.

Yazu had be siphoning Magickal energy into his right arm for several moves now; he had poured this charged power into the bullet in Velvet Nightmare's chamber when he pulled the trigger, and what erupted was a magickally imbued bullet that would bypass completely the mist that had surrounded the other. Any barrier raised in an attempt to stop it would be shattered, failing even to slow the projectile. It was moving at a rate that even a Captain-level Shinigami, with their ability to Shunpo, would have trouble dodging. The damage this bullet would cause, Yazu was certain, would undoubtedly end the battle. Even if it didn't rip right through Akito's now broad chest, it would launch her back with tremendous force.

It took a few seconds for Yazu to recover from the power of the shot, but as he did, he responded to the other Elder behind him.

"I'm having a little bit of fun here. Tell me, Sephiroth Fallen, where have you been? It has been too long since I've heard of your exploits."

Jenova Astra: Patience. Beneath the mask of perfection that housed her consciousness, the Advent Queen waited in patient thought. Of course, any form of loathing between her Children was something she abhorred. The Advents were not a dysfunctional unit. Contrary to that, the Advents were the most formidable unit in existence, and the ethereal one knew her Children could would act as such.

Rivalries were acceptable, even encouraged as a means to strengthen each other and bonds. Minor squabbles as well could be settled with a spar, battle, even a death match, for her Children were capable of return. Two of her Sons had used a death match to settle their dispute before and all was resolved now. Thus she was patient, allowing Yazu and Sorrow to argue amongst themselves. However, an Elder Son revealed himself and quieted their bickering. Which also suited her interest, for Akito's next words made it more than apparent that there was a lesson to be taught before any other event commenced.

'It seems this spar has revealed more than your inadequate skills. The imperfections of your character, Akito, are glaringly obvious. The Beast Blood you harbor may be averse to Family, but My Blood within you should have made you aware that you were and are Nothing without Myself, or your Brother's and Sisters.'

Her voice resounded with a simmering rage, and the atmosphere above contorted into an abyss, a whirlpool of black clouds and silver flashes. Thunder roared in the distance, not nearly loud enough to drown out the odium of The Advent Goddess's words though.

'You have nothing to merit addressing your Siblings as fools. Only you speak foolishness.
Yazu. Will your bitterness cause you compassion for her Blasphemy, or can you be trusted to teach Akito what it means to be an Advent and punish such insolence?
Hold yourself Sorrow. If your Older Brother will not discipline her, then it is possible I will witness you fight sooner than thought.'

The lightening seemed to writhe with her anger. Many of her most esteemed Sons were present and yet she could not completely bask in the Pride their presences brought because of the impudence of one foolish Child Beast.

Akito: Evil Akito turned on Jenova at her words of her being nothing without her or the other Advents, her fangs bared to the roots, and a feral snarl emitting from her throat. But right before she could lash out at the being who dared called her nothing with her deadly claws, Yazu's magical coated bullet struck her full in the chest. She staggered backward and collapsed, the mist covering her for a millisecond to reveal Akito in her regular form.

Akito got to her feet slowly, her steel hues glittering with hate and malice. Her gaze had flicked over to Yazu and she gave a curt bow of her to him, but there was no hate there, it was only when she looked at Jenova that hate showed itself. With a sudden slight sound of metal sliding against metal, Akito had pulled her tinted samurai out and pointed the tip straight at Jenova.

"How dare you call me Nothing without you or the others. Some time ago I realized that being with the Advents was a waste of my time. I was better off alone!"

Akito snarled, baring her growing fangs, but she didn't make any move toward her new target. Rage washed over the Lycan as she glared heatedly at Jenova. However, she wasn't rash enough to attack someone who was well protected by her Sons and Daughter, especially since they were right there next to her.

"You are lucky the little one is here or you would have felt my wraith, Mother. Apparently you do not understand that it is over with the bond between us. Kill me all you want, I'll just keep coming back, and even if you can take back what you have given me I'll still come back. Killing me will only make me stronger, which none of those who have fought and defeated me realized that they were only helping me by making me stronger, even thought the amount was little."

Akito snorted, drawing her black .45 look alike gun with her right hand, an indescribable colored aura forming at the same time.

"Heh, I may not be the greatest of fighters to you or anyone else, but I am unique and that is all that counts. I do not want to be one of your puppets."

Sorrow (Jejija): Fast. Faster than any Advent before him, Sorrow moved out of the barrier and drew his blade; slashing at the rebellious Advent's own blade. He remained calm through the entire barrage, for one to lose their composure in a fight is the first to fall. He was confident in his own abilities, so much in that after slashing and more likely than not repelling the blade from pointing at his Mother, Sorrow moved around to Akito's rear flank and drawing his own six-guns, aiming them at Akito's head.

"Move against Mother and you die. Move against Yazu and you die. Move against me you die. Stay your blade Akito, if you want to remain intact."

It was only then that his words allowed himself to be seen, for that his movements took place in less than a second. During his fight with Hiei Jaganshi, he studied the fast movements of the warrior endlessly before making a move; thus able to incorporate Hiei's speed into his own battle style. Advent lineage only increased this speed tenfold, with little harm done to Sorrow himself. War-torn digits compressed upon the guns, cocking them and only bringing Akito's doom upon herself quicker. Deadlier.

Akito: A small, cold smile made the corner of Akito's mouth lift. A light sigh, barely audible, came from her as she half closed her eyes in slight contempt as her head tilted a little in Sorrow's direction. She still held her samurai, but the blade tip was no longer pointing at Jenova, rather, it was pointing off to the side due from Sorrow's slash.

"Oh, and I'm one to stay my blade? How about you? Besides, killing me would be useless, as I had already explained why."

Her tone was icy as she spoke. However, as he had begun to speak, her gun and been turned so that the barrel opening pointed at his chest, right where the heart was; a precaution so that if he made to shoot she would shoot as well. She was fast as well, and even so head shots could be easily dodged.

"I advise you back off. Slaughter might be too much for the young one to handle right now, wouldn't you agree?"

Sephiroth Elite: "Be quiet."

Like an arrow piercing dense and tempestuous winds did the voice of the Lodestar resonate with a trembling finality. The empty void of atrophy, death in it's truest form of amethyst flames began to coil above, like a serpentine harbinger swimming through the azure. Down it came, all at once, sending rivets and tremors through the earth, eating away at the vegetation.

Twenty feet away, kneeling, only to Jenova, Sephiroth Elite rose to full height, instantly splitting the air and approaching the siblings, those growing as Advents, with a tiger's vivacity. Cold jade, sharp to the touch, honed in on them all, only excluding his mother, on whom he waited to lower the shield so that he would join his rightful place at her side.

"I see now...that what has been corrupting you, young ones, is pride." His eye's shot towards the target of his scathing address. Predictable. Disloyalty had run deep within the veins of the canine; he could feel it, corrupting her, eating away at the very pristine essence of what had once made her celestial, and binding her to the lowly dust from whence she came. A dog.

"Point that blade at my mother once more..."

No longer a sister, the connection cut, only an enemy Young one; irrelevant. The child, born an Advent, a shard of the jewel that she resembled, would one day slay many. A dog would only train her sight. Death by the hands of man. To regenerate? To reforge? Possibly. By the hands of an Advent-nay. The converse; the soul would dwell in the lifestream, the river of souls. Sustenance for true angels.

"The bare nerve. Your weakness held us down, and I knew that your betrayal was close at hand. It wreaked from your mouth as plain as your canine stench. Better off without us....you couldn't stay alive with our power. A travesty. An embarrassment. No longer will I have to endure the bitter taste of your name mixed with the savor of Advent. You were something with us. Now, you are nothing."

Unarmed, no sword drawn, but death was in his eyes, waiting to be released. Lethal calculations ran fluently, his own language, studying her movements. Mercy? Merely focus; fetch.

"You've made your choice.

Leave.

Or.

Die."

Finality embodied, the flawless intonation tore at the air. Cold from the separation, sensitive to the rip, at loss of a sister, the jade melted, now hot with true rage. Indignation. Either way-Goodbye.

Akito: Her attention was drawn to Elite as he knelt before Jenova and stood next to her. Her gaze met his. Now they held nothing. No hate. No malice. Nothing.

"Pride..? I could care less about it. What is corrupting me is having everyone say I am nothing without certain people or family."

Akito scoffed then, her tone being that of monotone.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go with that I betrayed the Advents. No one cares about the real details." A low growl, but still no emotion present. "Blame the... mutt. That's what everyone says when they first meet me. Just because I'm a Lycan... You're no different from anyone else."

The samurai and gun returned to their cases, having no use now that it was over. The silver mist consumed her quickly, and within less than a second a six foot black wolf stood in Akito's place. She approached Elite and stopped when the tip of her nose was just a foot away from his face, their eye level being even.

"Being called Nothing hurts. But of course... you wouldn't know the feeling, so why should you care about the Mutt who betrayed the Advents?"

She turned away from him and began to walk away. She was halfway past Sorrow before turning back to Elite. Her gaze was steady as she looked a them all.

"But remember this; I would never betray the Advents, no matter what is said. But after this I hardly doubt you would call to me for any kind of assistance. Even so, I will be near, neither alive nor dead. My presence will only be known to those who call for me. Bear this in mind... as a parting gift."

She spoke telepathically to only Jenova and Elite. Then, with a sudden howl that would echo several minutes after her leave, stood up on her hind legs, opened her seven foot long onyx feathered wings, and breathed scolding hot flames in front of her to create a large heap of fire, her wings curving inward at the tips as it occurred. A few tendrils of flame spread out from the heap to lick at the nearest Advents, which were Sorrow, Jenova, Elite, and Rose. However, even though the flames were scolding hot, they did not burn anyone. Only a soft kind of heat could be felt. With one last glance around her, Akito bowed her head toward the Elders, then walked into the fiery heap she had created. When the fire died away a second later, nothing remained of Akito. Not even the ground bore any mark that a fire had ever been created over it.

It was the beginning of an end, but the also the end of a beginning.

"Remember..."

Sephiroth; The Fallen Angel: "Hmhm..."

A small chuckle escaped Sephiroths pale lips, taking notice to Yazu's reactions towards Akito's own. It seemed the Sage was in enjoying himself to a degree, and watching Yazu simply dodge the attack and counter-act was all to amusing.

"Indeed, Yazu. It seems as though yet another tragic incident had happened to me. However, I have returned. In good time, they to shall return..."

A continued reply would have left the Fallens lips, but there was so much happening, he had lost his focus. Bickering and arguing, it never ceased to die, and it never will. Foolishness, it seemed it found its way into the hearts of many these days. Sephiroth let out a sigh, Akitos actions so unwise. To speak such illness towards the Advents, let only the Advent goddess herself, was pure blasphemy. Such blasphemy caught the attention of non other than the angel of death himself, Elite.

All Fallen did was watch and listen, that's all he could do at the time, as this was currently between Akito and Elite. Perhaps it was common sense that Fallen knew there would be no death today at this moment. After all, Akito knew better than to attack anyone in her current statues. Eventually, the conversation had ended, and Akito left, which brought Fallen to a question, one he would announce.

"Perhaps it is her emotions that are eating her away, not her pride..."

Nothing. That was the word Akito was sick of being called.

"I know very little on Akito, so my assumptions can go only so far. However, you heard her yourself Elite, she is hurt being called nothing. If she really did have such pride, she wouldn't have reacted in such a manner as she did. However, like I said, I can only assume so much about someone I don't know."

Rose: Young. Susceptible. Drowning In The Sea Of Fire. Heated Emotion. From Sister And Mother. Disbelief. Sister Didn't Say Sorry. Sister Didn't Deny It. Sister Denyed Us... Rejection. A Severed Bond. The Loss Of A Star. Dimming In The Bright Expanse That Was Family. Why Would Sister Deny Them? Deny Her... Was Something Wrong With Rose? How Could Sister Do That?

Eyes Downcast. Fighting Sniffles. Misery Shaking Her Small Frame. Silver Ponytails Trembling. Silent. Rose Stood In Turmoil. Spiralling Into Lower Levels Of Anguish. Listening To Each Of Her Older, Wiser Siblings. Watching Them With Omnivision. Staring Without Seeing At The Grass.

Called A Puppet. Okaasama Insulted Right Beside Her. And Rose Did Nothing. Could Do Nothing. Felt Like Nothing. Nothing... Like Akito Is. Though Akito Wasn't When She Was A Good Girl. Rose Is A Good Girl... But Rose Is Weak...

"You are lucky the little one is here or you would have felt my wraith, Mother... I advise you back off. Slaughter might be too much for the young one to handle right now, wouldn't you agree?"

An Explosion. Something Snapped In Her. Grief Transformed. A Ball Of Flames. Impassioned. Sister The Doggy Kept Using Rose As An Excuse. Kept Reffering To Rose. Cherubic In Build. Demonic In Truth. Hellfires In Her Glowing Green Eyes. Rage Building. Oniichama Came And Made Akito Go Away. But Rose Is Still Angry. Rose Feels Betrayed. Rose Wants More. Rose Wants Akito To Come Back. Rose Wants To Get Strong. Rose Wants To Kill Her.

"...However, you heard her yourself Elite, she is hurt being called nothing..."

Rose Is A Body Of Fury. Ire, Wanting To Be Released. But Akito Is Gone. How Can Oniichama Be So Wrong? Voice Steady. Though Emotions Stormy Within Her. Anger Pricking Her Green Eyes. Speaking To Fallen. Though She Wasn't Addressed. Antipathy Making Her Bold.

"She was sad about being nothing, but she wasn't nothing till she used Rose, Okaasama, and Jejija-niisan. She chose to be nothing when she used us and didn't care... She chose to be an animal instead of My Sister... She was proud of the ugly in her, instead of proud of Okaasama..."

Finally Looking Away From Where Akito Disappeared. Green Eyes Looking To Her Older Siblings. How Can They Be So Composed? Rose Is Miserable With Fury. Small Voice Growing Stronger.

"If she was proud of Rose, she wouldn't of stood behind us! She was proud of the ugly dog! She acted stupid! She shoulda said sorry... Shoulda been a good sister... but she was so proud of being something ugly!... she put it before us and now she really is nothing...
She can't blame anyone for telling her the truth."

Sage Yazu: Yazu simply rose to his feet after noticing that his opponent had backed down. Wordlessly, he returned Velvet Nightmare to the holster slung around his lower back, and arched his left eyebrow at Jenoba when she had the gall to tell him to slay Akito. His lips parted to respond, but he only closed them once more when Jejija - one of the rash, impatient children of the Empire - moved against her.

"No."

Yazu's voice had barely left his mouth when he heard the umistakable voice of the one Advent he had ever called his Brother - Sephiroth Elite. Yazu could only shake his head, however, at the Advent Prince's words - hostile words that would alienate any individual to whom they were directed. And because of the who he was, very few would ever dare stand up to him to defend the Lycan. Except the Sage Warrior himself.

"Perhaps..." he said, walking towards the Piercing Darkness and the Calamity, "...it would pay to make an attempt to understand why young Akito has said what she said and committed the actions she has instead of simply forcing her to leave. It is quite possible that it is not she who committed the act of betrayal but another member of the Empire who has become the traitor. As for you..."

Now, his words were directed at Jenoba herself. His gaze narrowed, staring unwaveringly into her eyes, and running a single hand through his lengthy hair. He waited for a moment before he spoke, but when he did, he spoke decisively and his words were clearly chosen very carefully.

"You need to stop acting so superior." he said, not even blinking, "I think that you need to do some of your own dirty work. Put in your own work for once. Remember that there are some of us who have been betrayed by your predecessors. And you have not even made an attempt to give a reason why any of us should trust you.

"My words may come as a shock to Jejija, Zeo, or Rose, because no one would dare speak to you so improperly, especially with him at your side. But I fear neither you nor him. I do not fear the power of the Advent Empire or the Elite Faction. You will not use your self-righteousness to boss the Advent around as though you have been here from the beginning. I will not allow it. We fight these wars. You do not."

Yazu spared a single glance to Rose, and then shook his head. "She should never have been exposed to any of this." He turned around and walked back towards Fallen.

Did you know before or after looking at my profile??
Would be a bit surprising if anyone who met me before remembered my name. heh.
I was reading the "want" and "don't want" in your one group, The Realm Summit. Odd how I have most of that going for my family right now ever since I got leadership....
And that reminds me... Have a sort of proposal for you, if you're interested.

Well, despite past events of all the wars and disputes between Advents and Belkans, I swore to myself there will no longer be any wars between the two.
My dear sister put it into words for me (mainly so I don't make a fool of myself trying to explain):
"That we've been in seclusion to get back to our roots of building excellent story lines, free of drama.  Given recent events, we could show the entire realm that we can achieve this, even if in character we're at odds, OOC we can work together.
"
And that is the proposal I make to you and the rest of Belka: Would you care to team up and make awesome storylines? It may even shock the hell out of quite a few who know the history between Advent and Belka. Can be like frenemies. If not, that is fine. I will hold nothing against your decision.

A Rare Insight on Akito

Purple-silver lightning flickered occasionally across the cloud covered night sky over the city of Midgar. The citizens cast wary glances up at the sky whenever the lightning flashed, some instinct warning them something wasn't right with the weather. The dark clouds made the atmosphere feel compressed with a hint of forbidding. The humans had a right to feel uneasy, for the weather was in no way ordinary.

The odd weather's source came from the female currently perched dangerously close to the roof edge of a six story building. Her dark attire of a plain silk t-shirt, fingerless gloves, slightly baggy leather pants with a belt above each knee and steel-toed combat boots, she blended into the dark environment perfectly. Her two five foot Katanas that normally rested in an x shape against her back in a weapon harness that draped across her shoulders and her black .45 look-a-like pistol that rested in a plain gun holster on her upper right thigh were nowhere in sight, however.

Gazing stoically at the busy street beneath her, the Advent leader knelt on the very edge of the roof, listening to the chatter of human voices. They happened to be celebrating this particular night. The humans kept mentioning something about a sort of peace but as to what the peace was caused by or for, she still had yet to learn. Edging away from the lip of the roof, Akito moved over to the other side of the building where a dark alley led to the main street. Two young males stood in the center of the alley, talking, their conversation reaching Akito's sensitive ears quite clearly despite the distance.

"...was confronted, peace finally came to us after having to deal with those monsters for so long," one man was saying, Akito having only caught the last bit of what he was saying.

The other man nodded. "Yeah. I've heard rumors that the last of the Advent race was finally wiped out down south and it's been a while since anyone has seen a Remnant. That's why everyone is celebrating."

Listening to the filth speak in such a tone set her blood boiling with a rage she had not felt in quite some years. Dropping to ground level behind the men, she slowly stalked up to the nearest male, the look on her face still expressionless despite what she was feeling inside.  Yet again it was time to re-teach a certain species where their place truly was on the food chain.

As she got within a couple feet, the man she was stalking finally noticed her eyes, his eyes widening more with surprise than anything. "R-Remnant!"

Stoic expression going dark, she said coldly, "No," before gutting him on the spot with one swift motion with her sharp inch and a half nails. He was dead before he hit the ground, blood and organs spraying on the ground at her feet. The other man gulped and backed away rather quickly, the smell of fear coming from him in thick waves.

"You're a... a... an Advent..." he stammered, tripping over his own feet in his haste to get away from the enraged female.

An evil smirk briefly crossed her facial features, exposing just a hint of her fangs. "That's right, little human. I am an Advent," she all but growled as she followed the male at a leisurely pace, a transparent aura forming around her right hand.

The male turned tail and ran for the mouth of the alley. Akito didn't let him get far, flicking her aura covered hand out lazily without breaking her stride. Immediately, a thin, jagged spire of rock shot out from the ground, impaling the guy straight in the chest. Blood bubbled out from his partially open mouth, eyes glazing over as a small river of blood seeped down the rock spire to pool at its base. Walking past the fast dying human, she paused at the edge of the alley, hidden in shadow. Teal, feline hues observed the celebrating crowd of humans before her. There must have been at least a few thousand people present, and they were all gathered around what looked to be an unfinished monument thing of ShinRa's.

Gazing at the accursed ShinRa building in the distance with distaste, she growled menacingly, stepping out of the shadows to where everyone could see her. Overhead, the lightning pulsed erratically, crackling. A couple close by were the first to notice and realize what she was. The girl screamed as she clutched at her boyfriend, the scream making everyone in the immediate area turn to look. For a few seconds nothing happened, than total chaos erupted, people fleeing every which way. A malevolent gleam glittered in her eyes as she watched the prey scurry before her. A small group of ShinRa's finest, a mix of 2nd and 3rd class SOLDIERs, appeared from the fleeing citizens. They fanned out in front of her, the closest not even seven feet away, swords at the ready.

She grinned in mild amusement. "Pathetic humans." She moved, suddenly behind the closest SOLDIER, moving so fast it seemed she had teleported. "You can't hope to touch me, much less catch me." As she spoke, she moved behind each guard, a mere flicker of movement. A smirk graced her lips when each of the guards whirled around, swords slicing at the air, only to find that she was no longer behind them. "How you must wish my family and the Remnants were all dead," she taunted, appearing back into her normal position in front of them. "Then you could truly celebrate, couldn't you?" she spat, baring her long, elegant fangs in a sneer.

The SOLDIERs's only response was to charge at her. Eyes sparking, Akito held her arms out as if to embrace the enemy. She let them get pretty close, one SOLDIER in the process of bringing his sword down in an arc at her mid section, before she let the lightning take their lives. A single bolt shot down in the middle of the SOLDIERs, tendrils reaching out to each, electrocuting them where they stood. Their clothes caught on fire from being superheated, Akito giving a light snort at the smell of burning flesh. Walking around the burning corpses, she unleashed the lightning completely. It struck everything and anything it could, mainly the terrified humans. The scent of roasted flesh grew pungent in the cool air. A few humans tried fleeing past the Advent, but she cut them apart with her nails, dark blood staining the pavement around her.

She spoke nonchalantly as she watched the destruction before her, talking in a slightly louder tone than what she normally used. "Blood, pain and hate. Kill, maim... murder. All on a whim, usually over something so petty. Humankind is worse than my race. We kill to stay alive and breed fear when you humans target us just because we're different than you." Her next words turned into a malicious growl that reverberated around the whole area as she turned toward the still burning bodies. "Hear me... Death is only the beginning for humanity. Your souls shall perish in the Lifestream for your insolence."

Waving her right appendage over the fire, the flames turned azure, a sign that she now controlled it as well as the lightning. However, she let the lightning die out, replacing it with the fire. Sweeping her right arm out, the fire responded at once, flaring out in every direction but at her. It shattered windows with its heat and entered the buildings, scaring any who had been hiding back out into the streets. It spread fairly quickly, especially when a person or two caught on fire and ran screaming, setting other things and people ablaze. Giving a brief maniac laugh, she chased after a group of humans, aiming for the fastest runners. They were no match for her speed or agility and were cut down within seconds of her catching up to them. Hot blood dripped thickly off her hands and claws, the dark substance splattered all over the ground and the wall of a nearby building, but strangely, none of the blood was on her clothes.

She had just slaughtered another group of humans when she felt a presence moving fast behind her. If not for the strong aura of determination, she would have ignored the person coming up behind her. Whirling around in a single, fluid movement that could be considered dance-like, she grabbed the middle aged man by his throat, picking him clean off his feet.

Struggling and kicking futilely, gurgled words escaped his throat. "You're... just as... bad... as...Sephiroth," the man rasped, glaring at her as he tried to loosen her hold on his neck.

The cold, amused look she gave would surely have rivaled Sephiroth's, the man going dead still as fear overtook him. "Oh, I can be way worse than dear Sephiroth..." she purred.... right before sinking her fangs deep into his throat.

The man thrashed violently, trying to scream or cry out but no sound came from him. Jerking her head to the side, she ripped his throat out. Blood gushed in a thick stream from the hole in his neck, covering his torso in seconds. Tossing aside the now limp man, his body slammed into a wall, all of his bones likely shattering on impact, especially his skull and spine. Flicking the blood casually from her hands and nails, Akito wiped the blood from around her mouth with the back of her hand, ambling back to the monument, leaping up on it to watch the fire, arms crossed across her chest.

"I cannot be Forsaken because I'm not the only one. We walk amongst you, feeding your Nightmares... Destroying your souls."
