How to Hunt in RP

So I've got an idea of making a style of Roleplaying MH that feels authentic to the game.

For starters, I will be posting Quests as Bulletins with information like this;

Level: 3 ***

Title: A Mother’s Intuition

Client: Chieftess Hera

Contract Fee: 1200z

Reward: 2700z

Time Limit: 50 rounds

Locale: Jungle (Day)

Environment: Stable

Main Monsters: Aptonoth, Epioth, Kelbi

Objective: Hunt a Rathian

Failure Conditions: Reward Zero. Time Zero.

Description:

“This was mine plan all along, Hunters! I have hidden the wyvern’s eggs in our own jungle. So now Moga Island is as good as safe. I know how much you hunters love your thrills, so I made this interesting for you lot. Get out there and fight that fire wyvern at her strongest!”

Subquest A:
Deliver 2 Wvyern Eggs
[+ 30 rounds ]

Subquest B:

Sever the Rathian’s Tail
[+ 20 rounds ]

Should you choose to join this quest, simply comment on the Bulletin that you'd like to join it and you'll have a starter featuring the Handler greeting you at camp before you set off!

And, yes, I will be roleplaying as all Monsters and Indigenous Creatures that you will be encountering in your Quests. I'm an experienced Roleplayer with years of experience from Zoids, Pokemon, Jurassic Park and other verses that have allowed me to really hone my skills of Action RPs featuring non-human characters. You'll be in for a thrill, alright!

So one thing you'll notice is that these Quest style RPs ARE going to be timed, just like the game. Instead of real time 50 minutes, it will be 50 rounds of replies. The Starter and your initial response to the starter are free but the first post I make after that sets the clock. So you'll have 49 rounds left to complete your objective which means you'll have to be smart about how you move around and you're going to need to bring your A-game to a fight!

One thing to note, though, if you have multiple people on a quest, you can get a lot more done because the rounds are based on turn cycles. So if you can, try to buddy up for some team RPs!

But if you can't, have no fear! Subquests are going to be your best friend! By completing Subquests, you can get extra time added to your quest to help you finish so be on the lookout for every opportunity!

** Oh! I almost forgot! The clock stops whenever you're at camp. For convenience. It wouldn't be fair if you got caught up talking to me or preparing for the fight and losing time. I know this isn't how it works in the games, but I'm throwing you a bone here!

Just like the games if you are defeated in combat, you'll have to restart at camp and track down your prey again so be careful!
