"Hagire's Biography"

~History~

-First Generation-
Hagire Rinichirou

In a time before the incident later labeled the "Tokyo Earthquake", Hagire in his 20's, worked at an institute as a doctor researching illnesses in hopes to heighten a person's immune system. At some point however his methods of doing so(And likely his personality)gave him a bit of a reputation among the staff as he was willing to even use a human subject for research studies, one almost being the son of his colleague, Sorae Igarashi. Instead she offered an albino orphan named Shiro to spare her own child which ended up helping Hagire in the long run due to her anatomy, the trials ended up creating the progenitor of the blood-manipulation ability "Branch of Sin" inside her which sparked his interest. He ended up doing harmful experiments during testing showing she had high tolerance and regeneration but this would later cause her to develop another personality to cope with it. During his time there he would adopt a pair of albino patients due to their deformity of each possessing half a brain, likely he would test on them eventually. After much later during one particular test, Shiro suddenly released a concentration of energy using her power which lead to the Tokyo Earthquake, leveling most of the city but left a chunk of it intact at the epicenter which would later become the island for the prison, Deadman Wonderland, years later. Hagire was greatly injured that he had lost his right arm and suffered scarring but could still move freely. While he had now discovered the potential for the Branch of Sin, he noticed the twins he adopted developed one as well he called "Hallow Swallow" which still kept them alive. While the circumstances were unknown, he helped used their power to overwrite his own memories into the body of who would later be the director of the prison, Deadman Wonderland, in order to cast aside his own damaged body.

~Second Generation~
Tsunenaga Sr.
(Prison Director)

Now in the vessel of someone else who also possesses Branch of Sin, he would continue his research into it from the center of the newly built Deadman Wonderland while no one else would recognize him aside from the albino twins he had adopted and kept and raised as his bodyguards for if he needed their power again. He would even monitor Shiro privately and continue his experiments on her in the form of testing her in combat with his Branch of Sin whenever her other persona awoke, at the same time also experimenting on himself which would slowly deteriorate his body but surprisingly he was still relatively mobile. He had set up the prison in order to locate others he called "Deadmen" to have them fight in secret underground, at first organized like a simple underground fighting ring only select people could view but it was for Hagire to actually pick out a suitable third host for himself. He later found the potential in one combatant, Toto Sakigami, who won every match so he would confront him with the promise of fighting the "Wretched Egg"(Shiro)but it was unfortunately a trap. Using the twin's ability he transferred his mind into Toto's while apparently still inhabiting the director at the same time. At a later point, Hagire fought Shiro one last time but she had managed to kill him, something he likely had planned prior in order to discard his body and continue as Toto.

~Third Generation~
Toto Sakigami

Hagire, now inhabiting a much younger body, began the slow process of collecting a sample of other Deadmen's own Branches due to his vessel's power, Love Labyrinth, which allows him to mimic other Branches of Sin. Somehow the mind transfer had "Reset" Toto so at first he was considered weak. During his time in the prison he had discovered the existence of a device his former colleague had created in order to help seal Shiro's twisted persona called the "Mother Goose System" where a familiar lullaby would soothe her and keep her as her childlike self. This would cause him to desperately seek out other Branches of Sin to unlock the device and awake Shiro to her full potential so he could "Kill and love her" as he called it due to his obsession with her. He eventually finds out Sorae's son Ganta is now living in the prison and develops a fascination with his power after seeing an upgraded form of it used in action, plotting to use that to unlock the machine. Some time had passed and after a altercation between him and the director's son Tamaki who currently ran the prison, Hagire revealed himself as the one in charge and in denial Tamaki gloated and killed himself. Other events transpired after and the prison was forced to close down leaving Hagire and Shiro there and despite a group of armed military being sent there to try and confront them, the two eliminated them with ease so the only course of action was for Ganta and a group of other deadmen to stop them. Hagire took the chance to trap Ganta in order to instead attempt to take over his body that way he would use his power to unlock the MGS since he couldn't copy Ganta's Branch. It was interrupted however by an ally of Ganta's and during the ensuing brawl the twins assisted Hagire only to get cut to pieces protecting him, by the end of it he had lost an arm and leg and was forced to retreat. He was later saved by the adopted sister of Toto who was also there, trying to protect him while not knowing he wasn't really him. As he recovered he experimented on himself to try getting stronger if he were to confront them again, naturally this deteriorated his body but didn't let it hinder him even with the few metal implants he gave himself. He later confronted the group in the deepest reaches of the prison where the MGS was located and in the grand battle between himself and the group, he unfortunately met his end by Ganta and in his final moments his consciousness faded, briefly allowing Toto's to come to before dying.

~Personality~

Hagire is rather sadistic and a sociopath, going to extreme lengths just to sate his curiosity even to experiment on living people or himself. As such with his experiments on Shiro he claims his interest as percentage, the more she developed it rose until he claimed at 100% that he was madly in love with her. He's seen to be manipulative as with Tamaki, secretly running things while letting Tamaki "Pretend" to be in charge only to reveal himself later. Even how he adopted the twins, Chan and En, he merely kept them around to benefit himself and in their final moments he told them he never cared for them.before cutting them apart to attack the enemy. The same applied to Shiro who he only showed genuine care for the Wretched Egg because of his obsession.

~Appearance~

In each appearance Hagire greatly changed due to having to switch hosts after his original body was no longer useful to him. In his original body he had a light complexion albeit having slight lines under his eyes likely from lack of sleep. His hair is slicked back with some being messy and tied back, he also had slight facial hair on his chin. In his next body he looked slightly older but his hair was shorter and also dark but due to self experimentation he developed scarring on his face and probably the rest of his body as he deteriorated. As Toto he was much younger, his skin much lighter probably due to some malnourishment for being fairly skinny. His hair is messy and a dark shade of green, unlike his past two bodies Toto's eyes are golden rather than dark. Prior to being possessed by Hagire, he wore rather casual street-esque clothing but afterward his attired changed to something loose and flowing with a design reminiscent of Shiro's bodysuit and colors. The self experimentations also left Toto with some faint scarring on his forehead, wrists, and ankles until much later when his body got damaged to the point he now has metal prosthetics and is greatly withered.

~Powers & Abilities~

-Prison Director's Unnamed Branch of Sin-
Despite inhabiting a more frail host at the time, the director's Branch was rather powerful in that it let his blood act like strong whips or lightning bolts but was only seen used during his fights with Shiro. He was able to be at even skill with her in that body.

-Toto Sakigami's Branch of Sin "Love Labyrinth"-
While it likely doesn't have a physical form like all other Branches of Sin, it's unique in that it allows Toto to mimic all other Branches so long as he ingests a sample of their blood infected with it. The only downside is that he cannot utilize the upgraded forms of a Branch of Sin. Sometime after being taken over by Hagire, this ability was reset so he had to start fresh.
