Reunion

The sun shone down across the fields of war, a young woman sitting silently in the darkness, her inverted Sharingan the only thing visible against her pale features, a neutral expression remaining on her face. The young woman who was known by the name Kazumi Uchiha was the one and only Daughter of Izuna Uchiha. As a child she had been raised by Tobirama but had left the village at a young age with her Aunt and Uncle. Her once dark hair now pale in comparison to what it used to be and she matured quite a bit over the years. Not to mention she herself had, had a child. Shinri, a young boy who now lived amongst the Uchiha Clan and whom had been named after one of her Uncles and Fathers brothers who had failed to make it past a young age due to war. The father of said child was a young man, whom was a few years older then her, who went by the name Koujaku Kimara, a Samurai and one of the current Jinchuriki who hosted the four tails.

As she was lost in thought she had heard a rustling noise behind her, quickly unsheathing her Katana, before a sigh passed her lips seeing that it was merely the man whom she had been thinking of moments before. "There you are....you've been out wandering again haven't you? I told you, you need to be more careful...." she chided. However the smirk on her Husbands face only caused a look of curiosity to appear within her eyes. "What are you smirking for....what have you done?" She asked her voice apprehensive and a tad bit weary, which only resulted in a laugh resounding from the male before her. "I've not done a thing, dear. However I've come across something rather interesting. Something you may be interested in..." he said. This caused the young woman to sigh. "Usually the information you bring me is inconvenient. What makes this time any different, aibou?" She asked, a rather fond nickname she had come to call him as of late.

Koujaku, still wearing his smug smirk, simply leaned against the entrance to the cave his arms crossed. "Would you believe me if I told you, your uncles still alive? The infamous Madara Uchiha?" He asked. The look on her face seemed to switch from disinterest to surprise. "That's impossible. He's been-" she started before Koujaku cut her off. "Dead? Yeah not so much. Believe it or not he actually just saved some kid from the Uchiha Clan. Got crushed by a rock out by Kanabi bridge." He chuckled. "However what he plans to do with said kid is beyond me. I'd assume he's got some sort of plot up his sleeve." Koujaku said before sitting next to her. "So what do you want to do?" He asked, his tone becoming softer.

Meanwhile Kazumi sat in silence, her mind reeling as she tried to process the information. It had been years since her aunts death, her coffin having came up missing days after her burial, not to mention her Uncles disappearance after his supposed death and final battle with Hashirama Senju. At the mention of the boy however her heart dropped. "You said a boy? It wasn't-" she said her heart beginning to race as Koujaku placed his hands on her small shoulders. "Shinri is fine. The boy in question is called Obito from what I've gathered. Shinri is fine though, I promise." He said calmly. At this Kazumi seemed to physically appear more relaxed. "Thank the Heavens...." she mumbled.

After a moment she stood up before looking at him as he watched her. "You wait here....you've done enough exploring for one day. I think it's about time I go find my Uncle.....and we have a talk." She said before her body warped, her whole body seemingly vanishing into thin air thanks to Kamui only to reappear in a rather unfamiliar space. "Hm..." she mumbled her gaze taking in the scenario around her. She seemed to be....underground? "What the hell..." she mumbled, her face showing a hint of displeasure, or more precisely a pout. One that was quite a bit similar to her Uncles. Just as she turned around however a white figure seemed to be appear in front of her. "Well hi there!" It said in a rather over friendly tone, causing the young woman's the sneer in disgust. "Good lord don't tell me you work for my Uncle. You seem....annoying." She grumbled. That was before a deep yet ominous chuckle seemed to resound throughout the underground cavern.

Turning to face a figure, one that was worn with age, and as pale as a ghost. But there was no mistaking it. "Uncle.....?" She said noticing two other things as she stared around the room. "I'm going to take a guess the boy is to be a pawn....knowing you, you're going to use him for something. Not sure what that would be though...." she said. Her Uncle just sat in silence on the stone seat behind him, something attached to his back what she could only assume was keeping him alive right now. "All for a greater purpose, I can assure you." He spoke before motioning her forward.

Stepping forward, her feet carrying her until she was only a few feet away from him, she felt his pale hand placed against her cheek. However it was much colder then she had remembered. Almost like a corpse. "You're dying aren't you....." she trailed off glancing off to the side. "And I see you're the reason Aunt Morikos coffin went missing.....Tobirama seems to believe the Raikage had something to do with it. You've kept it all this time. And you expect me to believe you've turned yourself into some monster...." she said.

The hand from her face slowly seemed to drop back onto his lap. "And I see you've grown more observant.....you've grown stronger." He said his eyes catching a glimpse of her own Sharingan "an interesting pattern." He mused. "You've been searching for me." He said almost as if he were Mimicking her very thoughts. Kazumi however simply glanced off to the side. "I thought you were dead.....I didn't want to believe it so I searched.....and then I learned of Aunt Morikos.....Aunties death. It wasn't exactly easy." She said as she watched the white figures as they seemed to surround her aunts coffin, the one that had first greeted her sitting by the boy who was known as Obito, all of them seemingly watching her. "Why did she...." Kazumi started before shaking her head. However the next time her Uncle had spoke, her head snapped up to look directly at him. "She had her reasons, just as I have my own. I promise, if you make it long enough...you'll see us both again. But the next time there will be nothing but peace....no death." He said

Before she could ask what he meant, Zetsu came up and grabbed her arm. "Family reunion is over. I think it's about time you leave Lady Uchiha!" White Zetsu said, letting out what she could only assume was a laugh. And before she could say another word, zetsu took her back above ground, but not before she caught a glimpse of Black Zetsu, a figure that had been haunting her for years since her uncle's disappearance. The Black Figure that had been trying to get a hold of her Sharingan. "Bloody hell...." she growled. White zetsu just laughed. "Don't need to be so grumpy! You'll see us again to I'm sure! But be careful. Otherwise you won't live to see the big finale!" He said before sinking back into the ground, waving at her as he done so, and though his tone was cheerful and somewhat playful, his words held an ominous meaning behind them....and Kazumi knew she would have to be careful all the while she tried to figure out Zetsu's true intentions, her eyes taking in the bloody battlefield, corpses lying at her feet. "Damn it...." she whispered, her heart feeling heavy as she looked at the ground below her. "I don't know what you're up to Uncle....nor do I know what that bastard Zetsu is up to but...don't let your guard down and I promise I won't either....." she mumbled. It was a silent promise that only mountains seemed to bear witness to and she planned to keep it that way.
