Birthday: April Life Story Hanko Mio was the only child of a Human man named Hotaka Mio and a Kami Spirit of The Tree Blossoms named Konohanasakuya-hime, who had disguised herself as a priestess named Manami Numakura to learn more about humans and to help others not knowing she would fall for a man and have his only child. Hanako's mother perished when Hanako was 7 years of age, she died while protecting her child and the forest from a fire demon which attacked their home. Before her mother passed, she told Hanako this. " Hanako my little blossom, I have to leave this world… I will always love you… goodbye my child…" At the age of 17 Hanako discovered that her mothers abilities of nature manipulation was passed down to her, using her gift to protect her home, her forest and pasture she grew up in. One year, she fought a demon that attacked her, almost dying in the process but triumphed in defeating it but found a shard of The Shikon Jewel in it's clutches, keeping it attached to a necklace.
