The Magic of Andalusia

The Basics:

All living thing's in Andalusia have magic in them from people to corpses. Even certain items can be imbued with magical power. Magic is usually classified in different forms of energy. Many refer to it as Mana. Some call it aura. There's also ki, chi, chakra, and ether. The many classification seem to stem from how the power is released from the body and how it is used. In the end though, it's the magical power that exist within us all. Souls from this world normally dissipate into that magic after death and can get reincorporated into other living beings.

The Mechanics:

There are generally seven forms of magic:

1. 《Voice Arts》- By chanting words imbued with magic, the chanter can produce a desired effect. After a number of years using magic a few elite magicians can use a shortened version of the chant. Voice Arts are among the most common form of the races.

2. 《Voiceless Arts》- By concentrating and feeling the magic words or action and forming it with the user's mind, the user can produce result similar and or stronger effect than voice arts magic. It is possible to gain higher precision with practice working on delicate work and is much faster than voice arts. Voiceless Arts are incredibly rare and can only be awoken before the age of 10.

3. 《Battle Arts》- Abilities that can only be cultivated through intense training. The applications of battle arts are vast, ranging from altering one's physical prowess, strengthening weapons, to even altering the opponent's spatial and temporal awareness.

4. 《Formation Array》 - By turning a magic crystal into a fine powder and mixing it with a certain set of ingredients , it turn into a kind of paint that you use to draw magic arrays. Since the paint works as an adhesive and merges into most things, it seems it won't simply disappear. Then when letting magic power flow through, it displays the effects corresponding to the formation of the array.

5. 《Runescraft》 - Similar to Formation Array, instead of symbols, magical power is embedded into a written word or words and display effects corresponding to the meaning of the word.

6. 《Ritual/Rites》 - Magic that requires certain actions or restrictions in order to get a desired effect. This form usually combines two or more of the other forms.

7. 《Talents/Abnormalities》 - A magic skill that a people is born with rather than tries for. Unlike the other forms of magic, talents cause no loss of energy. However, there can be restrictions or consequences for using such skills. This form is incredibly rare as only 1 in 200 people have talent.

Magical Rank Title:

Ranking is based area of effectiveness, using battle as a bases.

1. Elementary - A basic understanding and manipulation of magic. This magic can only effect a single target, being oneself or another.

2. Intermediate - A border understanding and manipulation of magic. This magic allows one to decide the fate of himself, his allies and his enemies. It can be used to decide the result of a single battle.

3. Advance - A greater understanding and manipulation of magic. This magic can influence the flow of two or three battles at the same time.

4. Ultimate - A complex understanding and manipulation of magic. It is said the effects can last for hours at a time. This magic can destroy a fortress, tower, or even an entire dungeon.

5. King - A multiplex understanding and manipulation of magic. The duration of the effectiveness is rumored to be days. It is said this magic can decide the very outcome of a war.

6. Emperor - A near perfect understanding and manipulation of magic. It is capable of destroying or affecting an entire nation.

7. Sage - A perfect understanding and manipulation of magic. It can affect an entire continent for an unknown amount of time.

8? Calamity King - An extra rank exclusive to the person 'chosen' by the 'people' to be Calamity King. Magic that can supposedly decide the existence or fate of a whole world. It is also able to alter the laws of reality in a world.

1. {Staff of La Magra}  - Also known as Staff of the Taken. A weapon of the highest order, it is capable of high feats of magic. It is composed of various powerful world-class items, the most legendary of the items are the Seven Spirit King Jewels. Each of the seven jewels embedded in the staff contains powerful elemental spirits. The staff also enables its bearer to vastly magnifying his own attack-spells and shorten the time it takes to cast spells.

2. {The Hollow of Crimson Red} - A jacket that charms it wearer with the ability to decrease damage from physical attacks and increases the attributes it's owner possesses.

3. {The Curtain of Dark Skies} - A mantle that prevents bad statuses (I.E. Burn, Poison, Freeze).  It also has the ability to erase the presence of it wearer.

4. {Abyss Sky Dance} - A pair of boots that grants it's user the power of flight without the consumption of Mana.

5. {The Twisted Crest} - A tattoo embedded in the skin. It automatically heals it user's wounds. 10% Percent per Second.

6. {The Scarlet Ring of Calamity} - A ring with the ability of Phenomenon Rebound. It can reflect all kinds of phenomena. Be it magic or superpowers. Whether it's attack, defense, support, and healing. All forms are deflected when contacted by Auryx.

7. {Alpha Stigma} - A magic eye with the ability of Source Scan. It can analyze and understand all people, objects and spells, allowing Auryx to pin point weaknesses and formulate attacks and counterattacks. The Stigma is located in Auryx's left eye.

8. {Lino Doue} - A magic eye with the ability of Cross Reverie. It allows it's user "to interact with the dreamworld." Auryx uses this magic eye to enter a person's dream to hypnotize and brainwash his victim. Since it can open an entrance to the dreamworld anywhere instantly, in battle Auryx uses the eye as form of teleportation. The Lino Doue is located in Auryx's right eye.

9. {Choker of Submission} - A choker that Auryx uses on those who fail his trials. The choker activates when a command he issues isn't followed.

Skills:

1. {Transmutation} - An alchemical skill. It allows the user to control a mineral or transform it.

A. {Mineral Appraisal & Enquiry} - Allows the user to perceive the information and cost  of an item.

B. {Mineral Fuse & Defuse} - Allows the separation and fusion of minerals.

2. {Consumption} - A skill obtained by Auryx after he ate a dragon like creature from the Abandoned which made him able to consume any being. If Auryx eat's a being which is equal or higher than him, he can take in the opponent's inherent skill for himself.

3. {Peace of Mind} - A continuously-active skill of the Calamity King's body. It keeps the King's mind calm. Whenever an intense emotion overwhelm the Calamity King, a light blue aura will wash over and soothe his mind, keeping Auryx calm and collected. The skill is mainly used against fear, anger, and excitement. The skill can partially be used on others but only for that intense emotions. This ability was gained after Auryx consumed an turtle-like creature from the Abandoned.

4. {Desperado} - A world-class skill that shatters the very chains of fate itself. It is capable of influencing fate, exerting an aura which can immobilize or influence others. It can even kill weaker fated person by will alone. Auryx obtained the skill after escaping the Abandoned which he should have died as he was fated to be killed by the creatures.

A. {Unseen Glory} - A sub-skill of {Desperados} which grants immunity to precognitive individuals such as Clairvoyants or Astrologians, because the user exist outside of fate.

B. {Undo} - A sub-skill of {Desperados} which negates a previous attack damage. The skill can only be used three times a day.

C. {Repeat} - A sub-skill of {Desperados} which redoes a successful attack, spells and physical attacks. The skill can be used five times a day.

5. {Rama's Treasury} - This seemingly offensive skill allows Auryx to call every single weapon from his arsenal, which were usurped from Heroes who challenged Auryx to "stop" him from ending the world. The weapons are bathed in divine light of the sun and imbued with anti-healing magic. The weapons are summoned by opening an "invisible door" through grids that allows for the contents to pass through upon the user's command. Upon snapping his fingers or without even a gesture, the weapons stored in the treasury can be continuously launched at the opponent without a break. He can summon weapons completely around the target for a full 360 degree barrage that should generally leave not even a single trace of flesh from the opponent.  This ability was given to Auryx after a chance encounter with a mysterious figure (hinted to be the heroic spirit, Rama) in the Abandoned.

6. {Mist Form} - A passive skill that allows the user the ability to become mist. The user becomes intangible and can fly around. Attacks pass right through however the user is incapable of attacking or casting spells. Though any spell activated before the skill is set will remain. The ability was gained after Auryx consumed an tengu-like creature from the Abandoned.

7. {Familiar Creation} -  A summoning skill that creates a familiar in any form the user chooses, such as a bat able to convey messages or a wolf from which he can receive information instantly. His familiars are also strong enough to carry another person and wield telekinetic powers. This ability was gained after Auryx consumed an oni-like creature from the Abandoned.

8. {Aura of Solomon} - A translation skill. It grants the user the ability to speak with animals and spirits. This ability was gained after Auryx consumed an owl-like creature from the Abandoned.

9. {Flawless Pledge} - A world class enchantment skill. It grants the user the ability to form powerful binding contracts. The contracts are so binding, that it can alter the laws and effects of the world. If these contracts are broken, the one who breaks them will die instantly.

10. {Public Enemy} - A world-level curse of being hated and feared by all living creatures in the world. Those affected by the curse are unable to be trusted by the beings of that world. Otherworldly beings are unaffected. The curse is bestowed onto those who are "chosen" by the people to become the Calamity King.

11. {Holding Back} - A world-level curse that prevents Auryx from going all-out. It is later revealed to be a side-effect from traversing through another dimension after Auryx destroyed his world.

12. {The Grand Rites of the Old Covenant}  - Auryx's most trump card. Auryx is able to invoke a pact to the Soul King during battle in order to gain amazing power. The condition for Auryx is said to be the disadvantage in numbers. If Auryx is outnumbered in battle,  the skill will activate, thus allowing his power to multiplied to match the combined power of all currently living combatants in a 50m. radius.

13. {Big Bang Theory} -

Spells:

1. {Omit} - An elementary spell that omits the channeling of spells thus delaying or canceling the activation of a spell.

2. {Transfer} - An elementary spell that is said to be the basic of the basic. It can transport a person or group to any destination that user deems.

3. {Ice} - An elementary level spell that conjures and manipulates ice.

4. {Water} - An elementary level spell that conjures and manipulates water.

5. {Conceal} - An elementary level spell that reflects light from the user or group, making them invisible.

6. {Silence} - An elementary level spell that creates a soundless area.

7. {Heal} - An elementary level light spell that heals the user and allies, though at a slow rate.

8. {Wasted Arrow} - An elementary level spell that conjures an arrow of light and shoots out towards and enemy. Its accuracy is very high but its power is very low as it's mainly use to stun foes.

9. {Explosion} - An intermediate fire level spell that gathers the hydrogen in the atmosphere into a focal point and ignites said point.

10. {Flare Burst} - An advanced level version of {Explosion}.

11. {Air Shot} - An advanced level wind spell that causes a squall to blow in. It's mainly use to cause distance between the castor and opponent.

12. {Decrees Wait} - An advanced level spell that reduces its user to zero, granting them the ability to fly.

13. {Astral Bind} - An advanced level spell that prevents a target from moving for a short period of time. The target is surrounded by a tight ring of magical threads.

14. {Electrical Fuzz} - An advanced level lightning spell that continuously deals a small amount of electrical damage.

15. {Willow Spears} - An advanced level plant spell that calls forth wooden spears impaling its victim.

16. {Gravity Outburst} - An advanced level dark spell that increases the gravity in a given area to diminish an opponent's speed by 80%.

17. {Karma Drive} - An advanced level spell that increases the recovery rate of either the user or another.

18. {Raise} - An advanced level resurrection spell that revives the target in a weakened state.

19. {Thorn Bind Hostage} - An ultimate level dark and light spell that causes five shining blue roots to erupt from the earth and entangle the target. When an alley cuts each of these roots, the thorns explode.

20. {Lightning Bullet} - An ultimate level lightning spell that fires a ball of intense force of electricity.

21. {Dark Bullet} - An ultimate level dark spell that fires a ball of intense force of darkness.

22. {Dark Press} - An ultimate level dark spell that produces a massive force of gravity and can flatten an enemy within a 5 meter range.

23. {Dark Flare} - An ultimate level dark spell that conjures and manipulates a black flame.

24. {Dark Burst} - An ultimate level dark spell that produces a soundless explosion.

25. {Obsidian Lance} - An ultimate level dark spell that conjures and manipulates a jet-black lance.

26. {Darkness Rain}- An ultimate level dark spell that produces arrows of darkness that downpour like black rain on the opponent.

27. {False State of Life} - An ultimate level spell that grants the user the ability to fake their status.

28. {Mirror Alice} - A king level mystic spell that creates a mirror that reflects attack with double the damage back at the attacker.

29. {Twinkle Aegis} - A king level light spell that create a great shield of light for defense purposes. It can also be released towards the enemy while spinning in a yo-yo-like fashion.

30. {Burst Rain} - A king level long ranged fire spell that summons a giant ball of fire in the sky and burst open into numerous clumps of fire the size of fist precisely on the spot the castor aims.

31. {Aurora Skies} - A king level long ranged light spell that summons a rainbow-colored sky. Anyone underneath said sky will receive a large rate of recovery, even if there are a hundred people under it.

32. {Detonation Mighty Comet} - A king level missile spell that fires energy-like missiles that release an explosion above the opponent's head.

33. {Super Mine} - A king level planting-type spell that sets trap on specific location the user deems. The traps releases an explosion of energy under the opponent's foot.

34. {Volcanic Wall} - A king level fire and earth spell that conjures a stone wall that fuses with flames, making a barrier of molted stone.

35. {Nilfhelm} - A king level ice spell that puts a stop to molecule's motion within an area of 50 meters, making them freeze.

36. {Transfer Stall} - An emperor level spell that can briefly hinder teleportation effects that had their destination near the caster, buying them several seconds of time, which the caster would typically use to flee or prepare an attack. In addition, the spell also informed the caster of how many beings would be teleporting into or away their vicinity.

37. {Olympus' Reqiuem} - An emperor level earth spell that conjures a countless number of meteorites with the capability of destroying a nation.

38. {Susanoo Strike} - An emperor level wind and light mend spell that fire off Ping-Pong-sized balls at the opponent. At first once the shot hits, all it causes is slight shock and paralyzes them for a moment. However, the more shots that are hit, the more the light gathers until a massive pillar of light erupts from the opponent causing a grand explosion.

39. {Balor Collapse} - An emperor level dark spell that creates a minuscule black that can engulf and imprison any designated target in an airspace of darkness.

40. {Twisted Twister} - An emperor level wind spell that wraps up the target in a green twister with a thunderous roar being raised as the target is cut into pieces.

41. {Cross Blizzard} - An emperor level wind and ice mend spell that calls forth two tornadoes. All that touched them were frozen over, and on top of that, they were smashed to pieces due to the winds.

42. {Astral Heat} - An emperor level that summons a blue flame that are effective against Ethereal beings such as ghosts or elementals.

43. {Bookmarked} - An emperor level spell that causes the target to see the user as their trusted ally. And as their ally, the user's words have a certain amount of effect on that person. However, since this is only a charm spell, it can not brain-wash the target.

44. {Alter Mind} - A sage level spirit spell that grants the user some degree of control over the target's memories.

45. {Titania's Favor} - A sage level spirit spell that summons forth a tiny red fairy. The fairy would take them along the least dangerous path.

46. {Mab's Favor} - A sage level spirit spell that summons forth a tiny purple fairy. The fairy would free its user from bindings and obstructions.

47. {Puck's Favor} - A sage level spirit spell that summons forth a tiny green fairy. The fairy would hinder the target's actions.

48. {Spear of Indra} - A sage level version of {Wasted Arrow}.

49. {Blackhole Bullet} - A sage level version of {Balor Collapse}.

50. {Earth Bounce} - A sage level earth spell that creates powerful earth tremors. It does not affect whatever is within a 3 meter radius of the caster.

52. {Grand Tornado} - A sage level wind spell that summons an enormous tornado.

53. {Virus Cloud} - A sage level poison spell. It is a mend spell of darkness and wind which makes a black cloud of poison and spreads it around. Like {Eartg Bounce}, it does not affect whatever is within a 3 meter radius of the caster.

54. {Rust Burst} - A sage level weapon destroying spell that causes armor/blade to instantly rust away.

55. {Monster Squad} - A sage level dark summoning spell that calls forth five super class monsters: Dracula, Wolfman, Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Lagoon creature.

56. {White Nova} - A sage level fire and light mend spell that is said to be Auryx's favorite spell. On the tip of his finger, a small pure white fireball is produced. The fireball then falls to the ground at a lax speed. The instant the fireball touches the ground, it will split open in a pure white flash with a thunderous roar--a disintegrating annihilation due to magic power should be repeatedly happening in the effect range of the attack. The effect range is a semi-circle that went about 1000 meters forward from the caster's feet. Its power is tremendous enough to defeat an army in one hit. However, the weakness of such a powerful spell is the huge power consumption along with how it took time until the spell is invoked.

57. {True Resurrection} - A sage level spirit spell that revives the target to a nigh perfect state. However, it is stated that people who were happy with their lives can refuse resurrection.

58. {True Death} - A sage level spirit spell that curses the target with 'instant death' which invalidates the effect of lower-level resurrection magic.

59. {Echo Cry} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that produces a copy of the user. The number of copies is only restricted by the strength of the user, making it possible to summon thousands of copies.

60. {Cradling Oasis} - A 'Calamity King' level light and plant mend spell that summons forth a thick white forest that covers those who it protects in a veil of roses and thorns. It not only acts as a barrier from physical and magic attacks but the spores release from the roses grants continuous healing.

61. {Loki's Shift} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that allows the user to change, adjust, alter, adapt, transform, and shape-shift their body in any way they wish and into whatever they want, be it alive or inanimate, their transformations can even seemingly break the law of conservation of mass.

62. {Dimension Lost} - A 'Calamity King' level water spell that conjures a mist with the ability to intercept attacks and transports anywhere the mist is located.

63. {Medusa's Gaze} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that turns an individual to stone by casting Cement Lock on them. The caster can transform anything he sees instantly or do it gradually. The people affected are technically not dead but the effects will take months to fade.

64. {Legion of Hungry Wolves} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that summons and command an army of werewolves. The spell can also turn weaker foes into subservient wolves.

65. {Incinerate Anthem} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that generates large amounts of powerful purple divine flames that continues burning for seven days and seven nights.

66. {Chronos Calculation} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that momentarily stops the time of anything within the line of sight of the caster. The range of effect maybe further increased if the wielder is able to generate more eyes through which they can see. (Auryx uses it in combination with his Echo Cry spell)

67. {Zenith Tempest} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that can take control of the weather and elemental attributes that contribute to the weather (heat, wind, lightning, earth and cold), as such, it can even create artificial clouds in places where there is no sky.

68. {Path of Minos} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that creates a maze of tunnels underneath the earth, on the surface or even in the sky and traps the user and victims within it. The caster possesses complete knowledge of the shape of the maze, and the position of all those inside it at all times. The caster can also alter the structure to their desire as well as leave when they want. The labyrinth will remain and only weaken after a period of several months have passed.

69. {Return to the Dawn of Time} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that negate all conveniences and technology in a given area. The spell degrades the level of civilization within an area of 500 km.

70. {Army of Echo} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that summons a horde of echo soldiers. The soldiers consist of the memories those who failed Auryx's trial.

71. {Efreet, The Spirit King of Fire} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the red jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of fire that is capable of manipulating heat and fire. Efreet possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of fire spirits.

72. {Terra, The Spirit King of Earth} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the yellow jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of earth that is capable of manipulating rocks, metal and plants. Terra possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of earth spirits.

73. {Navia, The Spirit King of Water} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the blue jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of water that is capable of manipulating water, ice and mist. Naiad possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of water spirits.

74. {Ariel, The Spirit King of Wind} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the green jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of wind that is capable of manipulating the wind. Sylph possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of wind spirits.

75. {Tonitrus, The Spirit King of Lightning} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the purple jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of lightning that is capable of manipulating thunder and lightning. Voltz possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of lightning spirits.

76. {Apophis, The Spirit King of Darkness} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the black jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of darkness that is capable of manipulating the dark and shadows. Apophis possesses extraordinary destructive strength and durability. It's considered to be among the highest tier of dark spirits.

77. {Lux, The Spirit King of Light} - A 'Calamity King' level spell that uses the clear jewel of the Staff of La Magra to summon the true incarnation of light that is capable of manipulating the light. Personality:
Auryx is a man who was resolute and invincible, had absolute power and confidence, and was revered as a man who was feared to be the “Calamity King of the Soul ”. Because of his absolute overwhelming power and abilities, Auryx possesses an easygoing attitude and an unrivaled sense of self- confidence when faced with any challenges.

Despite his title as the Calamity King of the Soul, Auryx is not evil. Other people see him as cruel but his creed is to not kill people needlessly. In fact, Auryx has a very strong belief in the potential of his fellow Relinquished and takes measures to make them utilize it. Even if he would never admit it, Auryx is also very protective of the Relinquished as well as his companions.

While not evil, he is still the Calamity King of the Soul. This is not a self-proclaimed title but rather something the rest of the world began to call him, mainly due to his ruthless methods when dealing with his enemies. Auryx is also not above playing along with other's jokes as shown when he met another Calamity King who appeared older than his current form and called Auryx 'youngster' to which he replied with 'old man' with a smile. Auryx is also something of a show off as he will draw out battles just to use as much spells as he can.

The Calamity Kings 《From World 1-14》

General Knowledge:
 The Calamity King is the immensely powerful entity in a given world, typically generalized as a level symbolizing the highest realm of magic achieved; however in reality the Calamity King is an existence brought about to destroy the world.

Purpose:
According to the Calamity King of the Origins, Elidibus, Calamity Kings are beings with the sole destiny of destroying their worlds. Countless worlds exist, each being created, destroyed, and replaced by this system, the Calamity King is as such an existence born to carry out this process.

A Calamity King is born from the Thirteen Races(The Eclipse), but regardless of what life they live, they will eventually arrive in the Abandoned and emerge in time as a Relinquished and then a Calamity King. Elidibus, the first Calamity King was human and raised as a mage, Auryx was a dhampir who dabbled in alchemy. Some have even been burned at the stake in their childhoods, but inevitably they will awaken and meet with the creatures of the Abandoned.

Some Calamity Kings slaughter all the Relinquished, Elidibus did this to consume them and steal their powers, thus strengthening himself, others, like Auryx, subjugate and dominate them, while others even fight alongside them, regardless, the Calamity Kings will destroy their world, with their respective Relinquished armies playing some role in aiding them in achieving it. After that, a new world is born, and the Calamity King of the old world's purpose has been carried out. That King will fade into the void, their essence combining into the new Calamity King.

The Eclipse/Relinquished of Andalusia

The Eclipse is the designation for the 13 sentient races of Andalusia, the world Auryx originally hailed from. Each race is valued by their affinity to magic. The 13 races are as followed:

1. Humans - The most common race with the largest population in the world of Andalusia. Despite their size and advancements, humans have the lowest affinity to magic with very few actually able to do magus arts. (I.E. Magicians)

2. Atlanteans - A race of people who reside in the ocean. They are mainly humanoid with dress-like fins on their feet and fish-like pointed ears. Commonly called mermaids. Due to low birthrate, they have one of the smallest population. They have a slightly higher affinity to magic but little to no control of it.

3. Kemonomimi - A race of people who appear to be human but who all have animal-like attributes. The second most common species whose population size rival humans, all with countless different tribes. While having low affinity to magic, their superhuman sense allows them to detect magic with ease. The Kemonomimi tribes are currently seen as the most technologically advanced race in all of Andalusia.

4. Astromana - A race of people who reside on the large crimson mass that orbits the planet besides the moon. They are commonly referred to as aliens. Since they rarely interact with the people of Andalusia, not much is known about them; though it is rumored that the race does have a high affinity for magic.

5. Vampire/Succubi - A race of people who are humanoid in appearance but must survive by consuming life force energy from bodily fluids. This is commonly done through blood consumption or sexual intercourse. It is easy to mistake them for Kemonomimi with their bat-like wings and fangs; however their sinister looking tail gives a different impression. The race has a pretty distant affinity to magic, mainly using hypnosis and shape shifting abilities. Due to past dealings with Atlanteans, Vampires are on the brink of extinction with only a handful of survivors left.

6. Liradan - A race of cybernetic life forms. They live in clusters and share a linked mind within each cluster. Their advancements are unknown but they hold a high affinity for magic as they can calculate the formula for a spell in mere moments due to their shared mind. Despite their power, they are a defensive race in nature and will not attack unless provoked.

7. Fairies - A race of people who inhibit the woodlands and mountain ranges. They are very small in size, usually able to fit in the palms of one's hand. They have wings that are thin, and clear-colored like glass. Despite their size, they have an amazing affinity to magic.

8. Pallum- A race of people who live in the woodlands alongside fairies and elves, usually classified by their short stature. While they have low affinity for magic, their strength and combat capabilities are among the highest in the world. Despite having a high birthrate, Pallum have very low life spans.

9. Elves - A race of people who like the dwarves and fairies reside in the woodlands, commonly noticed for their long pointed ears. The Elves are the polar opposite existence to the dwarves. While their strength and combat capabilities are extremely low, they have the highest affinity to magic in all of Andalusia. And despite having such a low birthrate, Elves are a long lived race having a life span of hundreds of years.

10. Gigantes - A race of giant humanoids who are bipedal creatures with the same number and arrangement of limbs and features one would expect in human beings; however, they are all deformed by human standards to a greater or lesser degree, ranging from minor abnormalities in proportions (enlarged head, small limbs, etc.) to apparently lacking skin and subcutaneous tissues, although they do not bleed from such deformities, indicating that they perhaps possess some other mechanism to compensate for this. Most Gigantes have no intelligence at all and are simply mindless beasts, easy to trick, distract, or deceive. However, some Gigantes, mostly the chief, possess a vast level of intelligence comparable to or exceeding an experienced and cunning human. Gigantes gave a large affinity to magic but lack the intelligence to properly wield it.

11. Dragons - One of the most powerful and prominent races in Andalusia. Dragons are beings created from large masses of energy who act freely and selfishly. Despite this, Dragons have an extremely high level of intelligence. While not at the level of elves, dragon's affinity to magic is extremely high and their strength is generally unmatched.

12. Chemicaloid - A race of people composed up completely of the elements, mainly the five elements but there are those made up of the elements found in the periodic table. They usually exist alongside the other races unknowingly.  They have a strong affinity for magic.

13. Geist - A race of people who are the souls of the deceased that, due to some factor that prevents them from passing on, can't rest in peace. They can be referred to as spiritual bodies, or to be precise, specters. When a person of the races dies, still lingering to life and there is some kind of regret, the soul remains on the world as a residual shaped existence, with their principal component being only life force energy. It is difficult to identify someone as a geist due to their appearance being the same as when they were alive. The only distinction is that some of their body parts are blurred. Physical attacks don't work on them, as the blow goes through the life force energy, but they are able to carry and stand on physical objects.



The Relinquished is the personal army of the Calamity King. They are formed from the ranks of the 13 races in Andalusia. They are ripped out of their space-time and then sent back, having been twisted and corrupted; mind and body by the Calamity King's influence. The Relinquished are unwaveringly loyal to the Calamity King, and will turn on their former allies without hesitation. Even powerful enemies with large affinity to magic like dragons are incapable of resisting the Calamity King's influence. More frightening is that although only the Calamity King can produce new Relinquished and they are tied to his power, any existing Relinquished will not simply dissipate with the King's defeat; but will linger indefinitely until they are thoroughly exterminated.
