Legend of the Black Tailed Saiyans.

Long ago, the Saiyan race, was the mightiest in the universe. Greatly adept warriors, capable of conquering, and destroying alienated planets with ease. Among these great beasts, were a different breed, which were a rare minority in their packs. Black Tailed Saiyans.

The Black Tailed Saiyans were easily stronger, quicker, and smarter than average saiyans, however neither races knew it. They took the color difference as simply another individuality. It was until later in centuries, was it found out their greatness. The black tailed Saiyans never held weakness in their tails, and in which, didn't need to train them. Still much unknown, even amongst themselves, all black tailed saiyans served under King Vegeta as his elite force. (Similar as the ginyu force was to Frieza)

Whenever the elite saiyans couldn't top their opponents, the secret black operations unit of black tailed saiyans were the special force to take the win for the saiyan race. Adequately taking any job, and making even the toughest jobs look easy. King Vegeta, whom one would think to be proud, began to feel the opposite. Once the black tailed saiyans began understanding their potency amongst the others, their obedience wasn't in such as king and peasant.

King Vegeta, growing aware of this, exiled all black tailed saiyans to live on one of planet vegeta's moons. He told them they earned their own domain, but to still live under him, which in secrecy, he felt if he hadn't done it, he'd be overthrown. So he immediately ordered them all to leave the planet, and only to join it on a mission, to defend it, or any other circumstance the king might have had. Within a year, they were gone. However, that would not prevent other black tailed children being born in normal saiyan families. Without the other black tailed Saiyans knowing, King Vegeta killed all newborn black tailed saiyans, and for the families that hid the infants from him, they were to join their offspring in the afterlife.

Some how, the Black Tailed Saiyans got word of this, and were planning to head to the main planet, to demand answers. Also, they had heard that King Vegeta was planning on blowing up that moon, and with the black tailed saiyans on it. Once they heard this. They planned for war.

Before their war was to ignite, Frieza made final presence to Planet Vegeta, to collect his protege, the prince. As Frieza went to destroy planet Vegeta, instead of the black tailed saiyans defending their once claimed home. They sat and watched from their distant moon, which surprisingly enough, wasn't caught in the explosion. With the extinction of the saiyans (supposedly), the black tailed saiyans went on their own ways, to their own homes, be it for good, or evil.

Naturally, some say they are extinct, but recent activity tends to say otherwise.
