Personal History: Born 2 minutes apart from her twin brother, Hikari from the moment she was born was a quiet child. She was the balance to the wild antics of her sister. She excelled in academics and wanted to help change the world, and she did, helping create supplements for vampires, werewolves, and other carnivorous obake to stem the tides of death amongst humans and the resulting conflicts. She also helped find the cure for several diseases.
All of this progress was brought to a halt during the events of Dragon's Nite in 887 O.R., an event that left all but one Akichi member alive and the WPO a ruin, which it remained for 50 years until her twin brother Akito revived it and found a way to bring the entire Akichi clan back to life two years later.
Upon her being brought back to life, Hikari continued to dedicate her life to helping the world grow through science. Some years after being brought back, Hikari conceived her twin daughters, Haruka and Haruna, whom she has raised in the same castle she grew up in, alongside their cousins, Diamond-Rose and Kyosukemaru.
She is currently the director of Science, Technology, and Medicine within the Japanese headquarters of the WPO.

Personal History:
Although he was born first, due to development issues, Akito had to be reinserted into his mother's womb to gestate and develop for an additional 300 years. It is for this reason that he was the only Akichi clan member to survive the events of 'Dragon's Nite'.
For 50 years Akito was raised by his mother in the forests of Western Germany, never allowed to wander into the forest due to his mother's warnings of vicious beasts that would tear him apart if he ever left her side, not knowing that it was his mother that was the beast; terrorizing the local hamlets and villages for years, snatching hunters and farmers from the jaws of life in moments to satiate her lust and gluttony for the suffering of others, especially humans. The greed eventually caught up to her, and one day, after having sneaked away to pick berries from a nearby field, Akito returned to find his mother's severed limbs and body hanging from a tree, her head sitting on a pike set a blaze. Their cabin had also been set on fire. Having only heard tales from his mother and with nothing keeping him there, Akito began his journey East to find his father.
Through many trials and years of being hunted by the many enemies his mother had made over the years, including her own vampire coven, Akito arrived in his father's homeland, unaware of the fate the Akichi had met half a century earlier.
Through more pain and sacrifice Akito managed to win the position of governor of the Ryuukaze islands as well as revive the WPO, with the help of the Sugita family. Together, they not only helped revitalize the one organization the world so desperately needed, but they also helped bring back the entirety of the Akichi clan, bringing them back from the brink of extension. Now Akito is the Grande Chancellor of the WPO, Head of Akichi clan, Governor of the Ryuukaze Islands, and the Head Director of Mizukaze City's most illustrious school, Mizukaze Academy.

Akichi History
 When the Earth was still young and mankind had slowly established the beginnings of civilizations, a powerful Ryuugami bestowed upon humankind the knowledge of metallurgy. As thanks, a beautiful maiden was offered to the Ryuugami as his bride. It was from this union that the first Akichi was born. That child spawned with more ryuugami and half breeds, consolidating into one clan. The Akichi were the first to master the art of smelting and blacksmith with their control of fire, and were eventually able to absorb earth and natural raw materials into their bodies and create anything from blades extending from any part of their body to full sets of armor and even jewelry. The Akichi became known as master blacksmiths and were coveted most all for their ability to create specialty weapons that could better focus and control a user's life energy or magic.
The Akichi became instrumental around the world, and were most sought after during periods of conflict. Over the years, the clan, slowly branching and thinning out, entered the shinobi (ninja) world.
Akichi who were able to still implement their bloodline trait were so envied and fought over during periods of war, that, when times of peace arose, humans saw them as nothing more than kegs of gun powder, just waiting to blow, which would, in turn, ignite more conflict.The Akichi were systematically hunted and slain until they were wiped out, save for a lone couple and their son who were stationed in what was the Sand Village. After years of peaceful living as simple blacksmiths and repair people, the couple was slain, leaving their young son an orphan.
The boy, having suffered much tragedy including the loss his home, his parents, his grandmother and the support of the village, took to the surrounding desert, becoming an urchin resorting to crime to stay alive. The boy's future seemed bleak, until he was adopted by the son of the notorious Uchiha Itachi, Uchiha Sora, and was relocated to the Leaf Village, where he would meet his future wife, Hazuki Ishida, as well as inherit the curse that his parents' killer placed on his clan.
The boy became a valuable asset to his village, having learned from 3 different Kages. He aided in revitalizing the village and helped transition the village into a thriving city as the way of the shinobi began to decline. The young Akichi would go on to have 6 children, but through several tragic events, only two of his children would go on to establish families, his oldest son and daughter. While the daughter passed away along with her husband and children due to a disease that wiped out their entire village, leaving no legacy to speak of, the eldest son, recognized for his prowess in combat, his skills in fire manipulation and his natural-born ability to lead, was called to become the leader of the fostering territory of islands, the Tobiishi-jima. It was here that the son, Kyoretsu, would raise his 4 children: Minako, Alexander, Isabella and Reiji.
While Minako had no children, choosing instead to command the world's differing armies, Alex married and beget 4 children, each poised to inherit the throne of their mother; Isabella reluctantly married her first love, with whom she gave birth to Alexandreus and Saoridonia.
While the others went on to lead adventurous lives before settling down, Reiji preferred the simplicities of life, but even so, when a call for world peace resounded the world over, he and Alex, along with their father, took the initiative and formed what would become the WPO. As Reiji struggled to establish the peace the world so desperately needed, he created his own family, having several children of his own: Akito, Mitsumi, Mitsuni, Xanxus, Jade, Diamond and Tsunayoshi.
Reiji took up the governing position of the Tobiishi-jima located to the south-west of Tokyo after his father stepped down and remained in that position until he was killed, along with his parents, nieces, nephews, sons, daughters and 1000 other guests from visiting countries during a grand banquet benefit for the WPO. Akito, who was living in Germany at the time, was unaware he even had siblings, but after his mother passed, he traveled to the major city of the islands, Mizukaze, where he took up his father's position. Akito continues to run the city and is the leader and ambassador of the newly re-established WPO, an organization dedicated to eradicating turmoil and war the world over, as well as promoting and implementing equality and acceptance for all obake-jin, or supernatural beings.
After a few decades of courting each other, Akito married Amethyst Sugita, with whom he had Diamond-Rose Sugita-Akichi and Kyosuke Sugita-Akichi.
Akito operates with his family, who are high ranking members in the WPO, and works with several smaller groups who cooperate with the local branches of the WPO. As such, his family is sent on missions that range from being escorts to being emissaries to being intel collectors and when it calls for them to be, assassins. The Akichi and the WPO work in every country around the world, and Mizukaze City has gained immensely from Akichi associations. Mizukaze has several sister cities located in North America, several countries in Europe, 2 in Africa, 9 across Asia and 5 in South America. The Akichi children always maintain education as priority, and so they attend the sister schools no matter where they are stationed.
