Disney & Co. Community Event
Attention ladies and gentlemen! So I’ve posted in recent weeks about wanting to do a community event sort of thing with a couple of keychains as real-life prizes. After some discussing and mulling over, Jack and I decided to make the event one that we had originally planned for our roleplay group DA. So without further adieu, this event is going to be a writing competition of the sorts. I figured this would be a good way to get people writing in the verse again and maybe introduce some new characters to people they didn’t originally have an interest for. Freaky Friday is our theme and it will be an elimination style event but for fairness’ sake writers will remain anonymous.
Participants will submit their entries to Merida and Jack and they will reformat and post it in a thread on Yiqi.
Members of the community will then vote on those who will be advancing into the next round!
Full event details will be disclosed day of the event.
It will be a three paragraph minimum per post required so please keep this in mind. It’s simply because one paragraph isn’t enough to flesh out a character, set a scene, and play it out.
The characters will be chosen from a list submitted by participants of Disney characters they have previously rped as. If any outside the verse or our new faces want to take part in this as well but have no history in the verse, alternative lists will be allowed. Depending on how many people want to participate this may be an event that lasts several days with a certain number of “rounds” each day.
Submissions will have a daily (or half daily) deadline so that everyone can participate no matter if they have other things to do throughout the week.
