Selina Kyle was not a stranger to objects of grandeur, but the Wayne Manor never ceased to amaze her. Despite being filled with nothing but men most of the time, the grand mansion never had as much as a silk pillow out of place. Each detail was so intricate, so purposeful. She loved every bit of it. Granted, she probably had to credit dear Alfred for most of it.

Every single room had its own theme, she noticed. While the boys' bedrooms were left up to their own unique tastes at the moment, the more public spaces were inviting and elegant. The sitting rooms were comfortable and decorated with fine art most could only covet in their imaginations. The hallways were adorned with gentle lighting and precise furniture in allotted spaces. The kitchen was her favorite in this expansive abode--though she practically had to beg Alfred for entry to make herself a single smoothie. The appliances were top-of-the-line, the counter tops were of beautiful granite, and Selina even adored the cutlery--right down to the monogrammed napkins.

If she had to choose a second favorite space of hers, well...it'd be this one. The Cat lingered at a large wall mirror, giving herself a once-over. There was nothing particularly special about tonight, but she only had a couple of hours' time with him & needed to make it count. Bruce was a busy man. Selina was lucky enough to catch him in the throngs of Gotham City when the moon was high and bright, much less during the day. Tonight was different, though. Her Bat insisted that he'd be able to sneak away from his namesake Enterprises a bit earlier this evening, and though he never missed a night of patrolling the city he'd be able to make up for a little bit of lost time between the two.

And while the two often had their tug-of-wars about their conflicting alignments, they also managed to find common ground and respect for one another. Slowly but surely, Bruce allowed her a piece of his life each and everyday. Selina did the same. It was interesting and certainly challenging to learn about each other outside of the alter egos. But this --being able to roam the mansion as she saw fit--was a perk she could get used to.

Her fingers trailed from her collarbone to her navel, fingertips grazing the fabric that was barely there. In the background of her mirrored view was only a fragment of a bedroom so large it could fit her entire apartment. She eyed the bed, a wicked grin painting her crimson lips. Yes, this was her second-favorite room in all of the Manor--Bruce's very own bedroom.

Selina twirled around, the transparent negligee flowing around her feminine figure. It did little to obscure what was underneath, if the delicate two-piece could even be considered clothing. Her matching undergarments were black as the deepest night and laced to ornate perfection. She wanted to wow him and if this couldn't do it, she didn't know what would.

Deciding that she was finished admiring her reflection, the Cat wandered to the window--her intention to close the panels to reduce the draft in the air. Instead she found herself gazing wistfully at the night sky. In the thick of the city life it was difficult to see the stars... to mentally draw out constellations and to admire the moon. But here she could see everything. Selina was enamored with the twilight. It was when she felt most alive and at home. A small part of her still yearned to slip into the catsuit and cartwheel on the tallest buildings in downtown, but...

It could wait. Selina had plans for at least a fraction of this night.

As if on cue, the doorknob jiggled. The Cat perked up; her emerald orbs glimmer with a hint of mischievousness as her prey made his way through the door.

He could barely shut the door before the kitten pounced.
