Mio is the youngesy daughter of Shido and Zel.She the only one of their kids that took after Zel in looks. She can bend the elements to her will although Bending water is the most she has control over and with that comes her ability to bend Blood which she is to use as  a last  resort.

Mio has grown up In the Space ship Warrior away from anything and everything that has to do with the Demon council and she is quite spoiled by her parents siblings and grandmother.

She also showed signs of being a sadist since a young age, shido noticed this when she would only get joy feeding of some one the most painful way at first thinking it was because she was to young to control it but eventually he noticed she did control it but enjoy giving out the pain.

Because they were in danger and Shido feared that by having kept her away from the family ways he has left her vulnerable to protect her self he sent her to the only other people he knew could keep her safe and teach her, His cousin Anju and her daughter Yaya.

There Mio began training with Yaya in various thing not only from her vampire heritage but from the kyuubi Heritage
