PERSONALITY
Desiree
is a storm in the making. Standing at 5 feet 2 inches, her petite frame, long black hair, streaked in violet; coupled with her wide honey-golden eyes create an aura of innocence. That innocence, however, is contradicted by the intelligence in her eyes, her strong-willed attitude, and expression that seems eternally stricken with boredom. She moves through life like a ghost β no one really knows where she came from or how she got to be the way she is. She has an air of mystery about her; dark, dangerous, yet sweet and charming at the same time.
When she speaks it is almost like a whisper, but when she laughs it echoes through walls like thunder- She is an intelligent yet willful young woman, with her own ideals of right, wrong, and justice. She does have a tendency to be rather dark in her ideas of punishments, though she hides that darkness well under a mask of feigned ignorance and innocence that leaves nearly all who meet her worrying for her welfare rather than about their own safety.
HISTORY
She
was found by locals of a small fishing village, on a beach on a small island, presumed to be around the age of 14, at the time. She spent two years working odd jobs to pay her way through a place in the village. She knows nothing of her past. Her memories lost to the ocean that spat her out, she has spent the last three years of her life moving through the ranks of the Navy, after having been discovered and recruited by Donquixote Rosinante.
Now, proudly carrying the title of Ensign. Within the depths of her soul she carries a deep respect for the man who found her two years and six long months after she'd washed ashore. Alone, working her way for room and board... Silent though he was, she had found a kindred spark within him that echoed through the dark hole in her spirit. FIGHTING STYLE
Trained
with swords and various other weapons, she is rarely seen carrying one, as she prefers hand to hand combat. When she is outfitted with a weapon, she can be found carrying usually a sword and firearm of standard navy issue. She is proficient with both.
She is training in Rokushiki. She has some work to go, still, before she would be willing to count herself as proficient, but she has been told she is a quick study and should have no problem mastering the techniques of the special martial art.
She possesses both Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki. If asked she would say she has a moderate affinity for both. She is always open to new techniques and training.
