The Legend of Captain Greaves~! The Dread Pirate of the Heartless Ocean!
They say he started off as a slave- Born to simple folks of simple make, sold for a hefty purse of silver and put to work by wealthier, better off-sorts.
Hardship crafted this tiny menace into diligence, the whip of his matron keepin' him from the kinds of trouble that you's or me's would have known in these Halcion days of our better years!
If all had gone as his owners figured? They'd have made their money back on his purchase tenfold by the time he was old n' grey!

But those rich aristocrats didn't expect one thing, my curious tadpoles... They didn't expect a raid from Port to Estate! Their riches seized, their homestead razed and their workers claimed by the once feared Capn' Mackar!
Greaves, they say, became a deck cleaner for Mackar.
He kept the ship clean n' pristine. Tended to sword and to fire-arm for his masterful owner, the second person to own his existences through and through. Learnin' the trade n' gettin' wise as years went by like breaths in the night.
... But the years? They made Greaves a tall un', a tall sea wretch with arms that could throw a punch and a gut that could take three such hurls! He was liked, with a devil-like silver tongue, n' worst of all for Mackar?
He hated that commandin' lout spewed from the very depths o' Davy Jones Locker!
Mutiny! Greaves commanded a MUTINY and put his Cap'n to the Test of the Sword!
A Fierce Battle- One of those Loyal to the Risin' Star and those True to the Ol' Standard.
Blood was spilled, bodies were dropped, it was a civil war on one ship-
And like all wars, it was a damned well messy affair.
In the end... Mackar lost, Cursin' Greaves with his final words. Cursin' him, they say, to live on- To live as the treacherous filth he is, and to know a life on the sea without the mercy of peace or an ending.
Greaves, rumours tell, gave reply to the hateful words with a single utterance-
"Don't Curse me with a Good Time, Captain~"
And so...
No more was Greaves a lil deck cleaner. Now? Now he was the Ship's Master, it's Ruler and it's Commander n' Chief as they say...
He re-organized his crew! He refurnished his water-tamer! He set sail from continent to continent and forged a Legend of Daring Deeds with a Smile and a Laugh!
