Personality
Kameko is an hardworking and honest person who will be loyal up until the point when she is hurt and will not extend the privlage of having the honesty and hardwork she puts into personal friendships and relationships. Trust, to her, is earned, and it is earned through honesty, hard work, and loyalty. She has developed standards that are not unknown to the general public. Kameko is a kind-hearted person and does not take things like friendship and loyalty lightly. However, she does take missions and protocall lightly either. If she is given an order by the people in higher ranking than she is, she will carry out the mission orders and not bat an eye toward that person. She was trained to take orders and to be reserved, silent, objective, resourceful, and observant. She was always a kind of shy and awkward child. She would often get made fun of for being short and for being picked on she built up thick skin so that no one would be able to bother her again like that. She learned from the cruelty of other human beings and tried to limit her interactions with them as much as possible and normally spends more times with animals than people; firmlybelieving that animals make better companions than people.

Kameko is an Uchiha that was born sometime after the Uchiha massacre and was unknown because she was in hiding until the threat was passed, and it was a known fact that Sasuke Uchiha was out for revenge against his brother for destroying his family and everyone he loved. Kameko was somewhat concerned about his psychological damage and watched him closely as she grew up in Konoha as Kameko Yamako.
The name change was necessary for her safety. While in the academy, Kameko was picked on by older kids because she was a lot shorter than the others, standing at four feet and eleven inches. She was smaller than a lot of the other kids and was an easy target for bullies to pick on her. She met a kunoichi that went by the name of Shana Hyuuga. Shana was a kind-hearted and hard-working kunoichi and Kameko's best friend throughout their years in the academy. She would learn together and train together with her. She would strive to show off when she could to show off in front of Shana.
Shana was impressed with how much Kameko had learned the first year alone, and she had already learned so much from Shana on the side about the typical and basic jutsu that everyone in the village that were shinobi save for the civilians in the village. Kameko and Shana would push each other to become stronger, and Kameko quickly turned it into a rivalry since she was always so stubborn and sarcastic.
She was really distant from others mainly because she did not know much about her past much less where she was from or who her parents were. She just knew she lived with her aunt and uncle who said that they would take care of her. They took care of her up until she was 18 years old, and she got a job as a flower arrangement manager only a few months after she started working for her own money. She felt extremely satisfied with the kind of work she did. She did go on missions, but she did not go out very long since she had the other business to worry about as well.
Chunin Exam Arc.
Kameko was one of the top five of the nine people to make it to the preliminary rounds of the chunin exams. She passed but only by a slight inconvenience to the other opponent, and she wouldn't have won because of that, but it was actually accepted as a win because the opponent was out for more than ten minutes and taken to the infirmary. Kameko walked away with a victory that time. She would then advance to the next round to the "Forest of Death" part of the exam. They explained the rules simply and matter of fact. The rules were simple: Gather a Heaven Scroll and an Earth Scroll and not to open either and had five days to get to the tower that would be at the center of the forest while the sensei would be waiting for them when it was over. The many teams that made it were nervous enough which was why this year there were not so many of them as the past year of younger shinobi and kunoichi.
With her team: Team 18 with Hikaru, Akira, and Sayuri, they would travel throughout the forest for days without sleeping. They did not want to miss a chance at a battle through the other persons in the forest. They couldn't trust one another much less other shinobi in the woods. So, Kameko came up with a "password" that none of them could forget and had to memorize to say the password when they were confronted by them in the future. That way they would know if it was really them or not. Something similar that Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto did when they were taking the chunin exams. Kameko was certain it would work in case anyone was spying or eavesdropping on them.
It was by the third day that Kameko became sick with the flu and held the team back. She insisted they leave her behind, but Akira and Sayuri would not have it. She would disagree with them, but ultimately she was pushed into going on despite her condition. Akira insisted that once they got to the tower they would get her some rest and medicine to cure her cold, but in the meantime Hikaru and Akira would take turns watching over Kameko while she rested in the forest where no one could find them easily. She would feel sick in the duration of the chunin exams. Some of the enemy shinobi showed up and Hikaru and Akira fought them off despite their differences about who was better than the other or who was stronger or on equal terms. She was happy that they were able to do that - it showed improvement on their growth and development as shinobi. Shinobi never showed his feelings for jeapordizing the mission.
Sasuke Revival Arc.
Kameko was in Takigakure while Naruto Uzumaki would chase after him per Sakura Haruno's begging and crying for him to bring Sasuke back to her and of course he agreed. She had been the source of his affection for many years but he knew Sakura loved Sasuke and he did not want to see her sad anymore and so Naruto promised that he would bring him back from Orochimaru no matter what.
After the fight at the valley of the end between Sasuke and Naruto, Naruto was knocked out, and Sasuke chose not to kill him like Itachi killed his best friends and chose not to go in his brother's footsteps. Kameko was given word that Sasuke had left his village and was spiraling out of control and being consumed by darkness. The darkness led him to form a team of his own: Karin Uzumaki, Suigetsu Hozuki, Juugo, and himself.
He would first call the team team hebi after the sensei that would give him power and he killed him shortly after giving him what he wanted. Showing that Sasuke would not show mercy even to the people that showed him emotion and kindness. Even if Orochimaru was a blood-thirsty killer and only after Sasuke's body to wear like a birthday suit. Orochimaru noted it would take three more years for him to correct his arm and cure himself before he could take over Sasuke's body no thanks to the third hokage's jutsu to turn his hands to stone so he could no longer use jutsu anymore. Much to his displeasure.
Pre-Shippuden Filler Arcs
Kameko was somewhat of a Clutz and very determined to show off her abilities. She was a naive girl and got into trouble a lot so Akira would always be the one to look out for her. She would always have a friend like that around because of Akira. She would go into training with Iruka to gather the bells that she would get for her first ever mission to prove she was worthy to become a shinobi. She would ignore the things the books told her and followed her instincts and guts so she would be considered a shinobi afterward. She went on several missions and built up a reputation for being somewhat stubborn, sarcastic, hot-tempered, and selfish. She could be selfish especially when it came to Akira.
Akira was her first love and she was devastated when he started dating and she patiently waited for him to notice her, even though she realized that she might never get a shot at becoming his girlfriend. She would instead focus on her shinobi training and not have time for socializing so she became a bit distant toward people. She had a hard time communicating toward others and because of that she had to take special classes to get her focus on socializing with others again.
Mostly she was depressed because she was turned down by Akira. She was heart broken, but used her heartbreak and turned it into success in ninja training and studying. She was trained under Iruka when he wasn't busy teaching students. She asked for him specifically because she was familiar with him and comfortable enough around him to express her true self and her true emotions that she felt toward certain situations or people.
She became increasinly distant from Akira, not wanting to let slip that he was the reason that she was hurting. She was acting strangely and when Akira tried to ask her about it she simply shrugged it off like it was no big deal. She did not love him or anyone anymore. She hardened her heart so it would not be falling in love with anyone anytime soon. She was only 16 so there was a lot of time for dating in the future. Plus, there could be other guys just waiting for her to 'pounce' on.
She continued her training with Iruka and got strong enough to face him head-on in an actual battle. Sometimes she wondered how she got this far without pushing herself to her limits. She was determined to prove that she wasn't a waste of space. She did not want to be a burden on her teammates and she was going to be a true shinobi. She wanted to prove that she, as a female ninja, could be just as strong as anyone even without powerful jutsu at hand that could blow up entire villages. She wouldn't do that of course, but sometimes she did think about it, even though she was a shy and reserved kind of person and kept her cynical thoughts to herself. Kameko was really shy when she met Akira and Hikaru, but she warmed up to them once she got to know them. The many missions they went on, made her even stronger than before. It was noted by Tsunade Senju, the Legendary Sanin that Kameko would have a chance at becoming a Jonin one day. Even though that was a generous offer, she would have preferred a teaching job alongside Iruka who taught her so much about shinobi training that she wanted to follow in his footsteps.
Eventually, the small crush on her teammate Akira and develop a romantic relationship with Iruka Umino. She spends a lot of time with him and he teaches her martial arts training, target practice, at some point they become an official item / relationship. Iruka was always so kind to Kameko. She was always so flattered when he commented on her short choppy hair, and she would comment on his skin complexion or something silly like that. Those connections are what made their relationship special to Kameko. It might have sounded silly or stupid to some people, but it wasn't something like that to Kameko. She cherished their time together and their memories made.
PART II
Invasion of Pain Arc:
As Pain closed in on Konoha and destroyed most of the village, Naruto was making his way back from three years of training with Jiraiya on of the three Legendary Sanin from Konohagakure. Unlike the other fighters in the battle, Kameko was knocked out cold by Pain and was unconcious through most of the fight until she was healed by Sakura's training meathods with Tsunade Senju.
She was somewhat disappointed that she did not get to see any action between the fight and the others were healed as well and everyone ended up being okay in the end. Kameko was thankful that no one except Shizune was fatally injured in this fight between Hinata, Naruto, and Pain who turned out to be Nagato Uzumaki , one of Jiraiya's students back in his days of being a sensei to Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato who awakened his Rinnegan early in his youth.
Kameko couldn't believe what had happened while she had been knocked out and was disappointed she missed so much. She was somewhat put off that she was asleep the whole time. Either way she was glad that everyone turned out all right except for a few people. She had been surprised that Hinata had stepped in to fight and defend Naruto's honor and told him she loved him in front of the rest of the shinobi in the area.
It was a long battle between Pain and Naruto, and Naruto was in his "Toad Sage Mode" while he was fighting throughout most of the fight. This helped immensely throughout the fight and gave him an edge he otherwise might not have had before. His training for three years with Jiraiya certainly had paid off.
Five Kage Summit Arc:
It doesn't effect Kameko much when Sasuke Uchiha is branded a international criminal since she did not know him well and somewhat aloof toward him and did not know much about him other than what her aunt and uncle told her about him. She was slightly interested in getting to know him once he was cleared of all charges.
Shinobi World War Arc
Kameko was placed in the third division -- she used her ability to use earth techniques against her enemies toward the other shinobi who were worried that the destruction of their villages and homes were in the near future. While team 7 fought with White and Black Zetzu of the Akatsuki and the other members of the Akatsuki, there was a full-blown attack on the village where they destroyed the entire village and soon after they would re-build the village, but not before destroying the enemies that threatened their lives and village.
They stood up to defend their village from the Akatsuki organization. Kameko, one of the last Uchiha in existence was told to keep out of sight of Zetzu and to keep herself ready for attack and defense. She had a large range of chakra and could be sensed from other shinobi who would be attracted to her presence. She was supposed to be kept in hiding since she was one of the last born after the massacre in the Uchiha clan. She was one of the only female Uchiha left in the clan which is significant to the Uchiha clan survival after the shinobi world war.
She would find someone to marry and sometime after have a child of her own. In the anime, when the White Zetsu Army had infiltrated the Allied Shinobi Forces and began assassinating each member one by one, Team 18 were sent to a cave that was a hole to the allies' defences. Not knowing much about Sasuke Uchiha it warmed Kameko's heart to see him fighting along side Sakura and Naruto again as Team 7 returned back in full action and Naruto fought mercilessly against Pain for what seemed like days which only took hours and he defeated him by talking to the real master of pain in the back ground and Nagato entrusted Yahiko's memory to Naruto.
It was soon after this that Naruto was accepted into the village hidden in the leaves and regarded as a hero in the village and his head mounted on the stone faces in Konoha as the seventh hokage. Konohamaru, his long-time friend was close behind with his ninja training and pulling pranks on people in the village, just as Naruto did many years ago. It was back to training for Kameko and she decided to leave the village to travel and meet new people. She decided to take a newly developed technology called a "camera" and took pictures where she went and would put them in a scrap book when she returned to Konohagakure. The fight with Pain was over and peace finally returned to Konoha and returned with Naruto as the new hero of the village and had fans coming from all over just to take pictures with him and spend time witih him.
Hinata had even been debating on trying to express her feelings of love for him. She had been in love with him since they were in the academy together though he didn't know about it - Hinata was such a shy girl but Sakura encouraged her to go for it and they were married soon after and had two children. Kameko would visit now and then as a family friend and play with Boruto and Himawari. She warned Boruto not to make Himawari angry, the Hyuga have a very short temper, and not to mention the Byakugan's power.
It was a bit frightening to Kameko. Even though she had awakened her own kekkei genkai, the sharingan. She did not intend to go any further with awakening any variation of her kekkei genkai since she was a kind and gentle soul and did not want to aim to harm the people she loved if that was the only way to awaken the mangekyo sharingan. She did not believe in violence and preferred to fight with her words and instead of reaching out and physically fighting she would win through psychological war-fare.
Three Tails Arc
In pursuit of the three tails Jinchuriki Team 8 lead by Kakashi was sent to investigate one of Orochimaru's hideout which was destroyed upon their arrival. One of the shinobi under Orochimaru's control was a kunoichi named Guren who could use Crystal Release and ensnared Hinata Hyuga inside a Crystalized Prison and while the other members of Team 8 and Kakashi focused on sealing the Three Tails, Kameko helped Shino free Hinata from the prison and fought alongside Shino trying to defeat the kunoichi that guarded the hideout from intruders in Orochimaru's hideout.
Itachi Pursuit Arc
Kameko was not involved in the pursuit of Itachi. She had no idea that she and him were even related. She was concerned about Sasuke being discovered, but would not defend him as that would make her an accomplice to criminal activity. She would simply do research on the clan in the files in Konoha hospital. She did not know who her parents were so she looked in the files, and nothing came up. She was somewhat annoyed that she couldn't find any information about her past and it had seeminly -disappeared.-
Shinobi World War Arc
Kameko was part of the healing faction of the shinobi world war arc. She was made to be someone available to heal those injured in the battle. She was rather useful with her Kekkei Genkai being the Sharingan and helping those who would not otherwise be able to see another's attacks and send it back to the attacker in the same manner it was delivered. It was an ancient Jutsu that was passed down in the Uchiha clan since the ancient days of Madara and Izuna.
She did not play much of a part in the Shinobi World War, she was mainly a healer and sensor type shinobi who aided in the way of healing those who got wounded in battle. She would become more useful upon sending her own team into battle where she would be in the background healing and helping the many fallen shinobi from the war. She would walk around the hospital filling beds and taking information from the other civilians from Konoha.
She would feel overwhelmed by her duty in the force while helping others. It was not a job she took lightly, and she did not want the others to take her lightly. She wanted to do her job correctly without much error. She wanted to show she could be a good shinobi and be there for her people. She wore a shinobi uniform with the jonin vest, pants, and her head band from Takigakure on the front where she was from.
She didn't do anything physical in the fight and mainly healed others from flesh wounds. She would have done more but felt useless physically. She would later take lessons from Iruka and later falling in love with him.
Team 18 would keep on the look out while Kameko was healing and tending to the wounded and looking for cures in the forest nearby, what was left of it , anyway. She noticed something wrong with the medicine she was giving, and something seemed wrong with her patients. They didn't seem to be getting better; and there was poison mixed with the medicine that she was injecting into her patience without her knowing about it. She had made an almost fatal mistake. Luckily Hinata and Sakura were there to correct the mishap and Kameko started crying, vowing to never make another fatal mistake like that again.
Ten-Tails Revival Arc:
Naruto and Killer "B" were fighting "masked Madara" that had recently been revived, and the rest of the Konoha 11 would come to Naruto's aid. She would use everything in her power to aid Naruto and the others as she had not been able to in the past due to her own mental health and physical ailments. Upon arriving at the battlefield, Kameko hid within a cave holding her position there when it was a right time to strike her enemy.
Along with the other shinobi who were fighting "masked Madara." Madara was an extremely powerful opponent and Kameko wasn't sure if she could fight him on her own but with the determined expressions and smiles of her comrades beside her, she knew she could aid them in battle if she needed to. She knew she would be able to help them if she was called to do so. She was somewhat scared at first, but Naruto acknowledged her with an informed "nod" and Kameko nodded back as if to confirm her confidence and heart were in the right place.
The first attempt to kill Madara and the Ten-Tails failed, and Kameko felt defeated but would not let that get her confidence down. Not without Team 7 backing her up. She trusted them, and now it was time for them to trust her with the situation. She wanted to prove herself as a true shinobi - a true fighter/warrior.
She wanted to fight, to learn to trust she was able to defend her friends and family. The village was body slammed into nothing and they were fighting on a village that was no longer there. They were going to restore it when they were done with this battle; she would be right by their side to restore the village to it's former glory.
When Sasuke declared he was going to become Hokage everyone was shocked, but they knew that they would not accept him in the village easily nor would they accept him as hokage. Naruto had more a chance than him, but no one said anything about it. However, he returned to team 7 and they returned to their former glory. It was also Naruto and his group of comrades who would stop the Shinju from blooming out of Obito Uchiha and after Madara was revived Kameko, and the other Rookie 11 were confronted by Guruguru.
After defeating the evil organization the Akatsuki and defeating the leader, Pein and Obito Uchiha, Naruto became Hokage and a very popular person within the village hidden in the leaves. Kameko continued her studies and working out to get even stronger than before. She worked to get closer to Iruka who would eventually marry her and have one child named Kurai Uchiha.
Kurai was a young kunoichi who would be the spitting image of Iruka and the personality of Kameko. Kameko was somewhat happy with how things turned out. She was no longer alone, no longer depressed, and no longer without her family around her. She was alone most of the time when she lived with her aunt and uncle as they worked most of the time and she was left to her own devices, and was left unsupervised.
She knew that she would have to make her own way if it was up to her to make it through and rid herself of her mental health demons. She would have to work hard at working through her own demons in her mind and self-esteem issues. She was strong physically but in the mind and her soul she was weak and she could not allow anyone to see her that way. She only allowed Iruka to see her like this since she was in love with him and she had known him since she was a teenager.
The "crush" she had on him as a "teenager" developed into a loving and caring relationship between the two of them and she also supported Naruto and Hinata's wedding as she was Hinata's "maid of honor" at her wedding with Naruto as she waited to become Naruto's bride. Kameko was taken by surprise when Hinata asked her to become her "maid of honor" for their wedding and of course she accepted.
Kameko was thrilled at the thought. She picked out a dress and on the day she took a lot of pictures after the wedding was done. She would often babysit for Naruto and Hinata as well. She would become close to Himawari as she grew up and Hanabi as well. She would have trouble getting to know Boruto a little since he was a young boy but Kameko was determined to get close to him, and get close to him as a friend he could count on.
