Shuten Douji. The Infamous Oni of Legend. An Ogre who once caused devastation across the Heian-Kyo to such an extent that he would come to be known as one of the Great Three Horrors of Ancient Japan. Such was all he embodied before being put to waste by the Minamoto and their Fearsome Poison. A devious end to the carnage of a simple embodiment of selfishness, wrath and pleasure.
However... Some beings don't take to demise with much gusto. They defy the next world and insist upon this one instead. Indeed, Shuten is one such being. He may have been defeated and his body and head separated, but circumstance would allow his return to the world of men. A reunion of his parts all that was needed to circumvent the slumber he had been long adrift within.
Since then - The Oni from the Mountains has once again began his journeying. Searching for new alliances, new ambitions and... Of course, most of all... New entertainment to slake his long deprived thirst.
