Heir to Rebellion
Over a decade passed since a young republic struggled to gain its freedom in the Caribbean- with its result in a treacherous defeat. The leader of that rebellion left behind two half siblings, whom became separated when they were only children. While the half sister was off completing her own life, Blaze, the elder brother had gone into piracy, earning a name for himself. For a while he did not care for his father's failed rebellion, as most pirates, like Blaze himself kept to his ship and crew, having been shattered by the full military might of the governments of the world. Instead, Blaze turned to hning his skills in captaincy and in swordsmanship, even gaining a reputation as one of the most skilled swordsmen in the known world.
With these skills, Blaze would command a vessel of his own, while turning his sights on nearby ships and even bounty-collecting against other renegades. Though he would hold no true loyalty to any nation or pirate fleet. At least until nearly twenty years, on the anniversary of his father's death, a stranger came to him with a piece of a map, ripped in half. And while this map was unreadable, he would keep it, while keeping to a life of piracy. Finally, after a year had transpired, he would hear of a rumor, that his map contained a massive trove of gold, gems, and other loot capable of filling a large armada of ships. He took he hesitation and set sail for an island with a hidden cave. And while he did find the treasure, he found that another pirate Captain had already found the treasure- which followed a fierce battle between the two. And before the final blow was struck, Blaze found that the girl he had been fighting with, was in fact his long lost half sister; leaving them with two options. To either kill eachother for the treasure, or ally themselves to revive their late father's dream
