Few become the best in the bounty hunting business in the galaxy, whom had made their marks along the greatest in the criminal underworld. But none have really come close to the sly, polite, and highly lethal skills of one notorious Duro, Cad bane.
Cad's time as a mercenary and bounty hunter came at a time when the galaxy was once again on the brink of all out war. The Republic, which had stood for over a thousand years was crumbling under a confederate movement. Crime and the underworld ran supreme in outer rim worlds, and there was always a profit to be made on the heads of wanted warriors on both sides. However, Cad had a particular interest in siding against the Republic on most occasions as the pay was generally higher. A fact he considered to be nothing personal. To him earning the next big score was the only thing that mattered. And because of his tendency to commit various crimes in the Republic, he would become the target to many a Jedi or force user in general. And even if he wasn't, there were...clients that held far darker powers than the Jedi. From the dark and mysterious night sisters, the the evil and brutal sith lords, Cad knew that many were able to perform unnatural attacks to which many of his kind would easily fall to.
In order to combat this problem, Cad underwent a series of modifications to his body, with his most notable one being a set of implants embedded into his neck, where a pair of elongated ribbed tubes connected on each side. This apparatus allowed Cad to breathe freeley despite potent abilities such as force chokes, which dark Jedi were quite fond of using to get their point across. But that was far from his modifications. For his armament was nothing to shrug off. While he generally wore no armor, his weapons, and mobility were specifically designed to combat high speed targets, and even allowed him to withstand the ranks of Jedi masters of his time. From rocket propelled boots, flamethrowers, dual pistols, whipcords, and various other tools, he always made sure he was well suited and prepared for the job at hand.
While many bounty hunters rushed in and took their targets out in force. Cad was a master of stealth and intimidation. He was soft spoken, yet managed to get his point across with a few words. And while he was ruthless in his profession, the Duro had a sense of politeness about him, even when dealing with his quarry. Whether this was a feigned pleasantry he offered or was his way of respecting his opponent in and out of battle was a matter of debate among some.
