In the imperial capital, the daughters and youths of noble families began to disappear one after another. Abe-no-Seimei's divination revealed that Shuten-Douji was the one behind it. Minamoto no Raikō, along with the Four Heavenly Kings, disguised themselves as Buddhist monks and infiltrated the oni's lair.
During the banquet, they convinced Shuten-Douji and the other oni to drink poisoned alcohol, and in her weakened state, they finished her. It is said that after being decapitated,
Shuten-Douji's head suddenly attacked Raikou, but it was stopped by the helmet Raikou received from the gods.
What do I like? That would be alcohol~! Sake, shōchū, beer, wine, whiskey, brandy, vodka, tequila, shaoxingjiu, ale, I love them all! Besides those, I like pretty boys and girls and also strong people! If they are strong but inexperienced, it's even better! I like them enough to want to gobble them up! ...In what meaning, you ask? In a double meaning, obviously!
There are multiple legends surrounding Shuten-Douji's origins. Some say that she is the child of Ibuki Daimyojin (Yama-no-Orochi) and a human. Others say she is the heaven-sent child of Mt. Togakushi (Nine-Headed Dragon). Either way, the fact remains that she is a child of a dragon god.
Her nature as a divine spirit is quite strong and her self-awareness of being a part of nature (the world) is quite intense. She acts according to primitive desires. She doesn't really feel like coming into contact with humans and their culture/civilization. She makes a face as if she is unaware of the depths of alcohol, the delicacy of human lives, and the pleasure of indulging in a moment of insanity, however... Without any incentive, she is harmless, but once she immerses herself in desires, she will be completely unforgiving.
Once her interest is piqued, she'll be strongly fixated on its object. While the target of her interest exists, her eyes will always be fixed on them. Usually, she'd stretch her long fingers towards them, touch them and destroy them completely───or, she would corrupt them and guide them to their death.
The oni species to which her other aspect belongs to can easily pique her interest. Naturally, existences similar to her (children of a dragon god) would also make her eyes sparkle.
Since her origin is that of a god, she can't look at things from the same standpoint as a human being, her words and conduct is that of "a big sister of a Heroic Spirit/Divine Spirit who's gotten way too used to modern society".
Her behavior shows that she's studied up on what human beings are like. She even tries to seduce and arouse others, including the Master.

Targets can be made dead drunk, similar to being charmed even, from one's tone of voice, sigh, or even just their gaze that possesses the aroma of a fruit's alcoholic scent. If they are beings that do not have the means for magical defense (common people and animals), their thoughts will end up melting completely in an instant. Shinken - Kusanagi no Tachi. According to the Susanoo myth from the Kojiki and Nihon-shoki, it is said that Susanoo-no-Mikoto, who was exiled from Takamagahara, descended upon the province of Izumo, saved Kusanadahime who was offered as a sacrifice, and exterminated an enormous monster.
That monster was Yamata-no-Orochi, a red-eyed demon with eight heads and eight tails───a gigantic snake that boasted of a length spanning eight valleys and peaks. Japan's greatest dragon of calamity. Susanoo-no-Mikoto defeated this large serpent (dragon) and obtained a divine sword from its tail.
The transient world and the world of the dead...I will make you understand how fragile and hollow the boundary between the two is──God's might shall be unleashed! 『Divine Blade - Kusanagi-no-Tachi』!
The sword's name is Kusanagi-no-Tachi, also known as
Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi and Tsumugari-no-Tachi. Later, it was offered to the Atsuta Shrine and designated as one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan. Ibuki-douji uses this sacred sword that was inside her father's body as a Noble Phantasm. It is such a fearsome weapon that a swingle swing from it upon the release of its True Name blows away eight valleys and peaks and gives birth to eight large rivers...
However, according to Ibuki-douji, this is nothing but momentarily borrowing the slightest of glitters of the divine sword. Its true value wouldn't stop at something of this level. ----
Senshibankou – Shinpen Kidoku (Multitude of Colours – Providential Oni Poison)

Now that she became a Heroic Spirit, this poisoned sake has been sublimated into the general existence of Shuten-douji. The “sake’s” only purpose for her is to pollute the surroundings with poison at once. By manipulating its concentration, she can bestow every bad status ailment. If it is at its greatest concentration, it will decompose all of the living body, leaving nothing but a few bones behind. The gourd for the sake, held under her arm, can further change into a weapon that holds a sword in its mouth, and also, it is said to even be a cage that locks up the spoils that fascinated Shuten-douji. ----
