Background
Cogita was one of the Celestica people, an ancient civilization who worshipped Arceus to such a degree that they even made sacrifices to the god. She was the high priestess and the one in charge of their written words, placing word of mouth onto paper in order to teach future generations of their legends and beliefs. She had been married but when an illness swept through them, Cogita lost her husband. As such, it was decreed she exile herself to be in mourning and she thus lived on the outskirts of their society. Cogita was about to end her life from grief when Arceus came before her with a task, guide a hero would have to face a great darkness. Giving her eternal life to do this, Cogita became the advisor of Arceus and took another of her people under her wing. This was Volo, though she had no idea of the extent he would go.
