Deluded by the grandiose power of the Empire, Prince Zorzal El Ceasar spent much of his time fantasizing about the older ages, grand battles, and the Empire's ever growing territory. For nearly one thousand years, has the Saderan Empire reached out through the land, waging war, and conquering every corner, until it remained stagnant. And Zorzal wished for that to change.
Through much of his life, he remained hidden under the shadow of his ancestors, and in the shadow of his father, Emperor Molt Sol Augustus. While he held some small respect for his father, he ultimately saw him as an aging, weak, indecisive fool who would be removed from the throne, while he took command. But doing so, was more easier said than done. For the Emperor was one of the most well guarded people in all of Falmart. Assassinating him was almost impossible.
And for years, Zorzal would just have to sit and wait for his father to pass the mantle down to him. But, that didn't mean he wouldn't go and seek out glory for him and his troops. In order to expand the Empire, Emperor Molt agreed to allow various legions to be sent fourth to subjugate new lands, bully vassal kingdoms, and wipe out any small rebellions that may sprout up. And Zorzal was given command of one such legion. With them he would cut a bloody path through the unaligned regions, and into the Warrior Bunny tribe, where he ultimately annihilated their highly skilled warriors, and captured their Queen, whom he turned into a personal slave. He did promise howeveer, that her freedom, and the survival of the tribe was all dependent on how well she served him. The queen agreed, and was forced into whatever schemes, and services he seemed fit, while abuse was also a strong factor in his daily routines.
While Zorzal thought he had the upper hand however, it was far from the truth. The Warrior queen was far more cunning than he was lead to believe. And in turn, she manipulated him from the start of her capture. She whispered delusional thoughts that fed his ego, and he was gullible enough to believe every minute of it. Eventually, war would come to the Empire, and the queen would see this as her opportunity to wipe out the Empire once and for all. For their new foes had recently come through the gate, from a world far different from their own. With their tanks and their rifles, hundreds of thousands of soldiers fell while they weren't even able to get close enough to fire and arrow. BUt these people did not want war, and peace was soon to break out.
Naturally, Zorzal did not want these peace talks to happen. He saw those from the other side as he saw anyone not of the Empire. Inferior. To feed this, his warrior queen began to feed him more delusions, agreeing with him entirely, until she was able to coax him into poisoning his father, whom agreed to peace talks. With him out of the picture, Zorzal reestablished the Imperial throne of old. One where it was Xenophobic, war mongering, and an absolute totalitarian state. Whith his new proclamation came the onset of war. The promise of returning the Empire to former glory the likes of which hasn't been seen in centuries. But, the result was far from. Within a day, Zorzal's empire was crushed, and he was forced to flee into the wilderness.
