Light is easy to love Show me your darkness The Myth The fox was gifted the task of watching over the wheat fields the moment she was brought into existence. A simple shrine, a poor village, but still deserving of the watchful gaze of Inari's servants. The wisp of white was seen as both a blessing and a curse by the humans, as superstition was deeply engrained. A child goes missing, surely it's the fox. Must be the fox. A bountiful harvest, blessed be Inari and his silent observers. The fox didn't care for the opinions of man, even as she grew fascinated in their ways of life. The backbreaking work, the language and gestures shared amongst them, it all delighted her. The other spirits and demons whispered and laughed behind her back, pitying the naive kitsune. Then she earned her tails, accepted the bejeweled stone, and could finally take the form of a human. The day she learned of the true maliciousness of mankind, the laughter followed her fleeing form as bitterness swelled in her pounding heart. Pitiful creature, the voices said. So naive to believe the humans could accept the things they didn't understand. The smirk on her lips always tells a different story than the glint in her eyes. A loner at heart, the fox doesn't call a single place home. She appears where she wishes, moves on when things grow dull. Modern times are both boring and stimulating, the humans still ignorant sheep that forever fascinate her. Despite her bitterness toward the mortal race, however, the fox hasn't crossed that line that turns a benevolent spirit malicious. Exceptions are made, however, with some earning her favor and others her ire.

As for the means of meeting~... Well, there IS one thing I was thinking of that would help, something that's connected to Dimitri's ancestors. It's an entity called the Hateful Flesh. To give a brief summary of it, it's an infectious entity crafted from rotted human flesh that slowly erodes a beings mind and begins to take them over, bringing them into a hive mind that is fully controlled by the main body(which is currently hidden.) A cult that knows the main body's location could've taken a piece for transport and intends to let it fester beneath the grounds of Ise Grand Shrine, if you wish to go for something like that.
