The youngest brother of the Schubaltz clan, Thomas Richard Schubaltz served the Guylos Empire with distinction and pride. While he was mostly inept with most of his endeavors, unlike his older brother, Karl. Thomas was a true wiz at computer technology. Ever since he was a young kid, Thomas always felt a strong desire to pull apart machines just to learn how they worked. And there was no greater love for him than his own inventions.
Most of the Schubalrz family often criticized his passions as wasting his time, when he could be an outstanding member of the Imperial Army, like his brother. But, he did not let that stop him. He entered service and soon became enlisted in the technician and engineering core, graduating with high honors in science and technology.
Perhaps his most crowning achievement was his invention of BEEK. An onboard AI that could link with his mech and act as an advanced tactician. It has the ability to nearly instantly analyze combat data and situations to provide Thomas a readout in positions as well as provides Thomas with various options to exploit his opponent's weaknesses. Some even argue that this AI is comparable to that of the mythical Organoid symbiotic lifeform.
As the war between the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire closed, a joint arms exchange program was established to allow for crossover tech and weapons to be traded and explored as a show of good will and faith. And Thomas was one to benefit from such a program. While he piloted a Zoid from the Empire, he quickly traded it for the Dibison. A Zoid equipped with 105mm 17-Shot Megalo Max Assault Cannons, as well as a wide array of missile pods, twin-crasher horns, and advanced radar systems.
On top of his new Zoid, Thomas also enlisted into the Guardian Force as a Lieutenant. A joint task force dedicated to maintain the delicate balance of peace between the two long-time warring factions. Here, his mission and career would advance to new heights as the Western Continent was littered with remnant officers willing to respark the war, and one individual whom had plans to annihilate the entire population of planet Zi. With his Dibison and BEEK, along with allies such as Van Flyheight, Fiona Linnette, and Irvine, Thomas would prove his knowledge in technology was a valuable asset to their operations time and time again.
