A noble warrior, Ra Kan's kind disposition and honorable life style ranked him as a once respected pilot. Then the war came and changed everything.
A wandering warrior that keeps his life a bit of a mystery to any outsiders. As a war has torn an entire continent apart, Ra Kan hardly ever chooses to trust anyone, for he feel they might sympathize with their enemy. But there is much more to his story.
Ra Kan's kingdom of Kira was one of the first to fall to an invading Empire which sought rapid domination through a series of lightning fast battles. Most of these events leveled towns, villages, and cities, while others were outright conquered. It would seem that such efforts in resistance were met with only solid defeat. But Kira was unlike most of the new Providences.
While not as large and bustling like other major cities on the planet, Kira's rich scenery and vast kingdom held one of the largest deposits of ancient Zoids, whom were successfully excavated and revived. Sadly, with those numbers alone, there would have been a distinct chance that the people of Kira could have banded together and stopped the war, or have at least put a major wrench in the Empire's plans for domination.
Ra Kan, whom was the rightful Lord of Kira, saw the battle as foolhardy, and disagreed. He didn't wish for Kira to be turned into a blazen battlefield, and thus prompted for the kingdom to laydown its arms. Without inccident the invading Empire took over Kira without inccident forcing Ra Kan to live in exile with one other. His recently orphaned niece.
For a while, the two would travel the country side, helping those whom would fall under the relentless attacks of the Empire, until they came across a boy who's village faced immanent destruction after a stray blast incinerated their organic generator. A powerful device that kept towns and cities alive with fertile soil and fresh water. He was moved by the young boy's courageous attitude, pure heart, and brave acts. In the end, Ra Kan along with his niece would travel with this boy in search of someone that could repair their generator, while ultimately getting wrapped up in the Resistance against the Empire.
