In an era where people were lucky if they were born with power's most became villains while few became heroes. Rin Yamada was just an average middle schooler with one of the weakest power's ever measured, only able to control the shape of shadows seen as a loser because of it. It wasn't till a meteor shower that thing's changed for the better for him when a strange violet meter shard changed the trajectory and crashed into him. The shard would merge with him strengthening his body and power's to new heights off the charts to modern standards. Gaining the ability to Shadow teleport, fly, generate dark Orb's of energy on top of his now overpowered shadow control, let him merge with shadows, trap people in them, and increase or decrease people's gravitational pull through their own shadow's.
This, however, is in an alternate universe where Rin is in UA class 1-A, taking Mineta's spot in the class in seat number 19.
Due to his querk, his glowing/smoking purple eyes give him a limited thermal vision, making him extremely embarrassed around Hagakure in her Hero gear as he can see her naked form, not fully able to see her like anyone else he can make out her body shape meaning he is one of the only hero's students that can tell where she is just by a glance. Hence him normally not facing her or looking off into space.
Familie tie's; Rin Just so happen to be Ochaco Uraraka's second cousin on her mother's side from the United States. An only child to Rin Yamada and Akane Yamada, owner's of a fantasy book/tabletop store, explaining his love for fairly nerdy things. A pet lover Rin had two black cats, one named ember, thank's too a hint of orange on the cat's tail, and shadow Ember's sister, who seemingly never left Rin's side willingly.
Quirk: True shadow manipulation/ True gravity manipulation
His now overpowered quirk lets him link two dark places together be it the depths of the ocean or space though it tax's his body the farther away something is. the gravity part of his Quirk like Ochaco lets him negate the Earths pull on a person or increase it which he uses to fly by increasing the pull of gravity to different point's. mixing the two lets him create miniature black holes which he calls dark Orbs.
