General Appearance:
Alexander is a young man with spiky, purple-colored hair in a messy mound atop his head. He wears a light-colored shirt under a dark blue vest that is held closed by a bronze-colored belt. His dark blue pants end halfway down his shins, and his shoes are bronze-colored slippers. Over this, he wears a long, white open coat with two pairs of large, turquoise diamonds on the front and on the sleeves. His squad robe has a dark blue tassel of diamonds hanging from the front clasp.
Personality:
Alexander enjoys writing to the point of shirking his duties. Despite this, he is very friendly, as shown by his interactions with Asta and Yuno, showing no interest in noble status. He has somewhat destructive tendencies, as much of what inspires him is powerful magic, which he writes into even more powerful spells.
Skills/Talents:
Immense Magic Power: Alexander possesses a tremendous amount of magic power, as shown when not a single anti-bird flies around him during the Magic Knights entrance exam. His large reserves allows him to cast two different spells at the same time with ease. He easily fights on par with two of the Diamond Kingdom's Eight Shining Generals and defeats one of them.
Mana Sensory: Alexander possesses the ability to sense mana from his surroundings. In addition, he can see the flow of mana in the form of a school of fish beings.
Mana Zone: Alexander can control all the mana in the area around him to increase his spells' power and range.

This magic attribute allows Alexander to manifest a quill pen and a inkwell to manipulate ink to write runes for various types of effects. In order to use it to its full potential, specific spells are required, which are stored within grimoires.

Familial Background:
The Akishai family were your average family in the Common Realm, neither wealthy or living in absolute poverty. Riley Akishai was a blacksmith of decent skill and it was this skill that he used to keep the roof over their heads and food in the bellies of his five children.
Character Background:
Alexander was the oldest of the five Akishai children, when he was younger all he wanted to do was lock himself away and write stories as his dream had been to become a famous writer. This obsession with writing continued and worsened after he turned fifteen and received his grimoire which contained Writing Magic, but now his writing became dangerous to those around him as the things he wrote began to come alive. One day his father took him to the side and talked to him about going and taking the Magic Knights Entrance Exam, he was sure that with Alexanders skills he would easily get picked for a squad and then Alexander would have the time, money and space to pursue his writing in peace. Having now become painfully away of the toll that his writing was taking on those that he loved Alexander agreed to his fathers suggestion and made his way to the royal capital. Alexander breezed through the tests that were administered for the entrance exam and when it was time three of the squad captains raised their hands to show that they wanted him, the Green Praying Mantis, the Crimson Lion Kings and the Grey Griffins, and Alexander choose to go to the Grey Griffins since they were the newest Magic Knight squad he felt that would be the best place he could distinguish himself at.
