Adam Reeves is the number 1 Basketball player, he has it all. Good looks, a nice Muscular tone body, a kind heart,Popular, and often is described as a smooth talker with the ladies. His able to play Football, Basketball, and even Baseball; Yeah Adam seems to be perfect athlete that everyone dreams of being. But somethings are NOT what they appear to be! Adam Reeves was Original born Simmon Johnson. He grew up in small town outside of Oregon city, in the same Neighborhood as Kate Marsh. They were childhood friends that played together, always having a good time until it was time for the go inside. Simmon's Biological father and mother were poor, and his father couldn't hold a job which he would often take his frustrations out on Simmon or his mother. His mother was an alcoholic and would get both Physically, and verbally abusive towards Simmon. Playing sports was his only way of escape from his parents abuse. He would often envision playing against his own parents, and always trying to run away from them. Because of that, he was faster, h would go to the gym to lift weights to bulk up cause he knew that his father heavy hands were going to kill him someday.
So he had to do anything he could think of to keep himself away from his father, and was able to protect himself. He would sneak off during the night to go learn Taiquan Do, he didn't want his dad finding out that he was preparing to defend himself. Kate Marsh's parent's had known about the child abuse in the home, but did not say anything to get involved. They believed that they should always leave it in God's Hands. Kate was the only person he could trust, she helped him get through the rough times. Soon things would change, his father had found out that his Golden ticket son that he had been betting on all of his games and he had won, was still hanging around the Marsh's daughter. His father did not want some Bible Thumper filling Simmon with hope, or telling him the he could leave his good for nothing parents. So One day his father was going to ship Simmon off to Military school for delinquents, but Simmon had had enough of the abuse and letting his father control his life! He would finally snap, and punched his father right outside where everyone could see, both father and son were fighting. People now started cheering for fight, where as Kate had called the Police. Simmon's father was arrested for Child abuse, Public disturbance, and Assault on Police Officer. Where as Simmon was give 4 days probations, and slap on the wrist, and well done for sticking up for himself. There are too many child abuse cases that has happened where the child doesn't make it out alive. Simmon was one of the Lucky ones! Simmon's mother would also be put in jail for child abuse, and blaming Simmon for getting his father Arrested and saying she should have aborted him.
Simmon would then be put in to foster home which ended causing himself and Kate to no longer see each other, but he would keep in touch writing to her. Once he was adopted, he would Legally change his name from Simmon Johnson, to Adam Reeves after finding Nice kind loving parents that had two other children, they wanted a third but they preferred to Adopt instead. Later on Adam would get recruitment scholarship to go play at Blackwell, which was a very big deal for him. Because Adam still wrote to Kate whenever he could, and found out that she was going to Blackwell too! So Adam just had to say YES to going there!
