Shas'O Ka'mais Fioo was a Commander in the Tau Fire caste until the Tau drew back from a world taken by Tyranids and left her and her Cabal to die, They were picked up by a Imperial guard team making a break for a ship and taken prisoner after the fight her cabal stayed to fight the nids and let the ship escape. The Guard kept the Tau female until she was picked up by the Ordo Xenos and then handed to the Ordo Hereticus, there she learnt human language and then gave her word that she would serve the Emperor's forces recovering her battlesuit and other pieces from the wreck of her battle cruiser before the nids or the warp claimed her.
