Having joined the βAdult Filmβ industry on the very day of his eighteenth birthday, Yumi Monoko quickly soared through the industry and made one hell of a name for himself. His films soared to the top of all the charts and his name quickly became known throughout for his popularity of being cute, teasing and effeminate β usually starring in movies with men who were easily twice his size.
But despite all the success that has come to him in the last year and a half, Yumi isnβt happy. Having been lead to the career under very questionable circumstances, heβs not really sure what to do with himself. While he makes very good money from it, he doesnβt want the career to define who he is and almost always hates it when he gets recognized from his films. When people recognize him in public they tend to be either loud and obvious or subtle and sleazy, and either way he hates how those two groups look at him. He wants to back out of it and live his life peacefully, but being caught in an iron-clad contract keeps him locked there despite his best efforts to escape.
Yumi goes to college at the same time and tries desperately to stay incognito and keep his identity under wraps. Pursuing many artistic talents like writing, acting and even pottery (which he is no good at), he pursues life quietly and gets along with almost everyone he encounters with his laid back, carefree attitude towards most people. Heβs more introverted than people think, but isnβt shy to give his opinion on matters that he cares about.
How we got here
"SUCH a tragic story, hm?"
Although he was raised in a very happy household, Yumi went through his edgy phase more intensely than most people did. His parents were good to him β despite the occasional arguments here and there β but a man Yumi knew personally blew those arguments up and made them seem like much more than they really were. That man was their family friend, a member of a college council, and a man who was involved in the filming business.
Although his parents had no idea of the hobby, Yumi was informed of it early on when the man would joke about Yumi βjoining in on the funβ. The two would joke and laugh about it, but the older he got, the more serious the suggestions became. Using clever words and tricky psychology, the teen fell for every trap hook, line and sinker. Three days before his eighteenth birthday, the man finally convinced him to leave his family and make a solid living doing films β sweetened by the offer of getting to go college for free for as long as he liked, as long as he did exactly what he was told.
The contract was made. Yumi was bound to the man for four years, required to do exactly as he was told with no talk back and no running away. No matter what, the contract was solid and there was nothing he could possibly hope to do to get out of it.
