"Guess we'll do this the old fashioned way."
Armed with his Peacekeeper revolver, the outlaw Cole Cassidy doles out justice on his own terms.
Cassidy had already made a name for himself as a member of the notorious Deadlock Gang, which trafficked in illicit weapons and military hardware throughout the American Southwest, when he and his associates were busted in an Overwatch sting operation. With his expert marksmanship and resourcefulness, he was given the choice between rotting in a maximum-security lockup and joining Blackwatch, Overwatch's covert ops division. He chose the latter.
Although he was initially cynical, he came to believe that he could make amends for his past sins by righting the injustices of the world. Cassidy appreciated the flexibility afforded to the clandestine Blackwatch, unhindered by bureaucracy and red tape. But as Overwatch's influence waned, rogue elements within Blackwatch sought to bring down the organization and turn it to their own ends. Wanting no part of the infighting, McCree set off alone and went underground.
He resurfaced several years later as a gunslinger for hire. But while Cassidy's talents are sought after by parties great and small, he fights only for causes he believes are just.
โฅ OH, DIDIWIN? "mister cassidy, i have more than enough reason to turn you in - you're a wanted man! give me a good reason not to do so." arms crossed, she stared down at the man with puffed cheeks - judgement not yet made, but ready to proceed. "i've heard you've taken an interest in the bob-omb people! what for? a crime to commit?"
Curiosity colored her hues as the Warrior of Light canted her head at the man who stood before her. Her gaze trailed his attire, trying to place where he might have acquired such foriegn garments. Perhaps he was not of this world?
In life, we're all actors, playing many roles. These roles stack-up, each one a new mask we put on, each a new attribute to finding the character we were meant to play. I been many things, gangster, outlaw, soldier, outcast, hero, mercenary. Funny thing is right now, as I do more and more good, while also gaining personal wealth for it, in the process I've become a wanted man. Am I the good or bad guy, or something else entirely? Maybe, when I peal off all these mask from all these years, I might just find myself to be the fool. Heck, if I'm a bit player, some.dang pawn, suppose being the comedy relief ain't the worst role one could have. Keeps everyone's spirits up and on thier toes.
