Appearance Details: Black hair, black fur on his ears and tail. Violet feline eyes. As tiny as a small human baby.
Personality: Skittish and shy like a stray kitten. He often keeps his distance from those he is unfamiliar with, and it can be somewhat challenging to earn his trust. As he survives on his own, food is almost always on his mind as it's difficult for him to come by.
Race Details: Narkariss are born into litters, always of 2 or 3. They have sharpened teeth and claws that can protrude from the tips of their fingers which enable them to hunt small prey. From birth to the late months of their 4th year they remain significantly small, just about the size of small human babies for the purpose of remaining lightweight and mobile for their parents to carry or retreat with them; and it is during those years their feline nature is most prevalent. They almost always locomote on all fours and with a kittenish waddle due to their short legs and seldom stand upright.
Transitioning to their 5th year of life they undergo a significant growth spurt to the size of an average human child their age. Their muscles grow stronger and enable them to be swift and nimble while upright on their legs, no longer needing to go about on all fours to be quick. As they age into adulthood, they become even faster and stronger; much more so than a human.
Referred to often as Orvuhriss, the term for abominable people, a vast majority of the human inhabitants of Eastern Vorus generally label them as abominations and savages as they are said to be ungodly creatures. With the blessing of the Holy Amlorahn Empire, the Order of the Ethnic Purifiers have embarked on centuries-long crusades to purify the region of Nalkyen of the Narkariss.
