Former FIFA mascot and iconic star of Russia in 2018, Zabivaka's fall from grace has been one arduous misfortune to the next. After losing both of his parents in a car accident, his oldest sister takes in the pup. Mishka is not one to have her younger brother moping about and suggests he put his skills to work as a football player. Things go well, and Zabivaka begins to feel happiness once more. That is, until everything changed for not only him, but the world at large.
22 March 2022. Russia begins its invasion of Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin begins organizing the military to assist in the overtaking of the once neighboring country. Many men are drafted into the war, and unfortunately or not surprisingly, this includes young Zabivaka. From former mascot to military man, the wolf pup's life continues to spiral into an abyss even he cannot see a light from. The once enthusiastic pup he was with shining blue eyes and clean goggles was now another Russian soldier, fighting a war he did not want. Will death grant him exit? Or will he see the light at the end of the tunnel?
