You will note a line of code that starts with param name="wmode" above. The normal player that you add from flash-mp3-player.net does not contain this. If you are replacing the full player, make sure to add it into your code. Firefox can be buggy with flash players, leaving the player 'on top' of everything even when it is supposed to be hidden. While the extra code is not necessary in this particular layout, it's a good idea to get in the habit of adding it.

RoXas means a lot to Sora. This has caused him to rethink how he addresses Roxas's species as a whole, believing it not quite right to call them nobodies. Due to unfortunately ending RoXas's summer vacation, Sora has offered to take him on a trip to see the worlds, in a brief time of peace where they didn't have to constantly look over their shoulders for danger.

ρυяιту

Kairi was the first and only girl Sora has ever truly loved. He has never quite been able to express it to her but he does try to let his actions speak for him when it comes to this. Often his drive is to find her when he has been separated from her. Not only because he misses her company but because he doesn't know what he'd do without her..

𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍.

Sora doesn't know Aqua well but he does look up to her in a similar way to how Ventus looks up to Terra. He asked her to be his teacher and she obliged. She like him can understand his PTSD that he masks well. She is one of his mentors and close friends.

God of Magic

Kefka is by far one of Sora's most hated foes. The man comes off as a sadistic narcissist who cares nothing about people and thinks they're just tools to use in his destruction. He met him upon a secret mission to rediscover his power of waking and since then, whenever they come across each other there is an increasing chance of violence.

Sora
Quote goes here.

Sora and Riku are shown as best friends and rivals as they grew up. They are often seen around the islands battling with wooden swords, racing, and doing anything else that is competitive. Some time prior to Birth by Sleep, Sora's newly born heart encounters the injured heart of Ventus and mends it, offering to help him restore his broken heart until help is not needed. This allows them to form a connection with one another, and causes Vanitas's face to resemble Sora's. By the time Sora is four years old, he encounters Terra and Aqua, two Keyblade wielders of the generation before him, on separate occasions. He never spoke with Terra, but they have seen each other on Destiny Islands. Terra shows no interest in Sora because he is unable to sense his potential and is instead attracted to Riku. Aqua recognizes their friendship as hers to Terra and Ventus and tells Sora to protect Riku if he were to fall into the hands of darkness, which he agrees to. Ventus had visited the islands multiple times but had never met Sora face to face.

Near the ending of Birth by Sleep, Sora and Riku rest on a beach. When they prepare to go home, Sora suddenly feels sad and sheds a single tear. Riku tells him that perhaps someone from another world connected to him is sad somewhere and tells him to try to reach him. Sora closes his eyes and reaches out, which results in him being sent to the Awakening and encountering Ventus' lost heart. It had lost its path and must return to slumber, though it is reluctant to do so and asks if it could become a part of Sora's heart. Sora accepts the request, saying that as long as he can make it happy by doing so, he is willing to.

One year after the events of Birth by Sleep, a mysterious little girl named Kairi came to their islands from a different place. She was adopted by the mayor, and Sora and Riku quickly became friends with her. Another day, Sora and Riku found a small, hidden cave on their islands. They search the "Secret Place" while discussing Kairi and the meteor shower that had recently fallen. They find a door with no handle at the back of the cave and, because they couldn't open it, they leave, but not before Riku sees the world's Keyhole.

During their childhood, Sora, Riku, and Kairi often wonder about what lay beyond their small world. By the time they reach adolescence, they decide to build a raft, in the hopes of sailing to other worlds. The day when they start construction, Sora dozes off on the shore of the beach and has an odd dream where he travels through an odd, dark realm and battles a massive dark creature. Sora is awakened by Kairi, and he goes to help get the provisions for the raft. However, the night before they set sail, a storm ravages the island along with a strange, dark force. Riku succumbs to the force, claiming he is not afraid of the darkness it so clearly embodied, while Sora tries and fails to save his friend from the darkness.

However, it is during the tempest that Sora first unlocks his potential as a Keyblade wielder, summoning the power of the Kingdom Key to battle the Heartless that now infested his home. He makes his way to the Secret Place where he finds Kairi, who disappears when their bodies meet, forcing Sora to battle the same dark creature from his dream. Sora defeats the monster, but he is swept off the island and thrown into a Corridor of Darkness, which lands him in a world called Traverse Town.

In Traverse Town, Sora meets Donald Duck and Goofy, the respective Royal Court Magician and Captain of the Royal Guard of Disney Castle. Under orders from The King, the pair are searching for two things: a mysterious 'key' and a man called Leon. As the King has disappeared in his own quest, Donald and Goofy accompany Sora and they start searching for their respective friends. In addition to that, Sora finds that his Keyblade might perhaps be the mysterious key the King had asked them to find.

Sora discovers that Riku is also searching for Kairi, though neither of them can find her. Maleficent sees her chance and tells Riku that Sora had replaced him and Kairi for Donald, Goofy, and the Keyblade. With this false knowledge, he sets out to find Kairi on his own as Sora travels to a number of worlds to stop the Heartless. From there, Sora locks the Keyholes out from the reach of the Darkness to protect the worlds' hearts.

His quest allows him to make countless new friends while the power of his heart increases, which also improves his Keyblade's power.

Upon reaching Hollow Bastion, Riku confronts Sora and reveals to him that Riku himself was the true Keyblade master, explaining that Sora "was just the delivery boy". Riku then claims the Keyblade for his own. Despite their guilt at doing so, Donald and Goofy are forced to abandon Sora because of the King's orders: to stay with whoever has the Keyblade. When Beast pulls himself up to continue to the castle, Sora tells him to be careful due to his injuries. However, Beast shrugs off Sora's worries, saying that he would not leave before he completed what he'd come there for; to find Belle. When asked what he came for, Sora realizes that he needs to show the same attitude as the Beast and continues with him into the entrance hall of the castle.

There Sora meets Riku, Goofy, and Donald once more. Feeling guilty, Donald and Goofy return to Sora's side. Riku then asks Sora, "How do you intend to fight without a weapon?" to which Sora answers, "I don't need the Keyblade. I've got a better weapon. My heart!". Riku taunts Sora, calling his heart pathetic and weak. Sora proceeds to tell him that his friends strengthen his heart. At this, the Keyblade realizes that Riku has turned to darkness, and Sora's heart is far stronger than Riku's, so it returns to Sora. Enraged, Riku fights Sora and loses. Furious at his weakness, he makes the mistake of listening to a mysterious man. Opening his heart fully to darkness, he allows himself to be possessed by this man.

After this, the party encounters Maleficent and defeats her. Using a Keyblade born of six of the Princesses of Hearts' hearts, Riku unlocks the darkness in her heart before stepping away through a Corridor of Darkness. She transforms into a black, fire-breathing dragon from the proliferation of darkness in her heart but is again defeated and the Heartless swallow her heart. Further into the depths of Hollow Bastion, Sora encounters Riku once more, and he calls himself "Ansem, Seeker of Darkness", who intends to find Kingdom Hearts itself. Although it is difficult to fight his best friend, Sora emerges victorious in the struggle.

Kairi is revealed to be one of the Seven Princesses of Heart who possess the power to open the Final Keyhole that leads to Kingdom Hearts, but because her heart laid within Sora, it cannot open, as explained by "Ansem". In order to return her heart and wake her up, Sora uses the Keyblade of Heart to remove both their hearts, sacrificing his humanity and becoming a Heartless, unknowingly creating Roxas and Naminé, the Nobodies of Sora and Kairi respectively. When he manages to reunite with Kairi after a brief stint as a Heartless, Kairi uses her light to restore his human form.

After regrouping in Traverse Town, Sora decides to return to Hollow Bastion to seal the Final Keyhole while he tries to reclaim Riku from the clutches of "Ansem". Kairi gives Sora her lucky charm since he insists that she should stay behind, even joking that she would be in his way.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy set sail to Hollow Bastion and seal the Final Keyhole after a battle with a powerful Heartless. The six Princesses of Heart then inform him of a new darkness approaching, and the trio travel to End of the World, the "Heartless world" of all the worlds that fell into darkness, where they confront and defeat "Ansem" once and for all. "Ansem", defeated, calls forth to Kingdom Hearts to fill him with the power of darkness, but Sora proclaims that Kingdom Hearts is not darkness, but light, and "Ansem" is destroyed by said light.

However, Heartless begin to swarm inside of the door and Sora, Donald, and Goofy rush forward to close it. As they attempt to close the Door to Darkness, Riku and King Mickey appear on the other side of the door and together, King Mickey and Sora seal it from both sides with Sora's Keyblade from the Realm of light and Mickey's Keyblade from the Realm of Darkness. However, Mickey and Riku become trapped behind the door as it closes shut, but not before Riku instructs Sora to take care of Kairi in his absence.

As the worlds begin to restore themselves, Sora sees Kairi on a platform of sand that is drifting away. Sora promises to return to her as soon as he finds Riku and King Mickey. The two are then separated as Kairi returns to Destiny Island without Sora or Riku.

After being separated from his friends, Sora wanders down on a long, meandering path with Donald and Goofy searching for a way to find Riku and Mickey, encountering Pluto on the way. When they reach a crossroad and call it a night, a mysterious man in a long black hooded cloak appears and informs Sora, "Along the road ahead lies something you need. However, in order to claim it, you must lose something that is dear to you". The man disappears and only one path remains. The trio follows the path which leads them to a mysterious castle known as Castle Oblivion. They enter the castle hoping to pick up some clues as to the whereabouts of their friends only to discover, as they ascend the floors of the fortress, they are beginning to lose their memories and become more and more uncertain of what they are truly after. Even Jiminy's journal has been erased of its entries.

Little do they know, their memories are being manipulated by a mysterious organization that seeks to capture and manipulate Sora. To do this, they use Naminé, a young "witch" who could rearrange the chains of memories in a person's mind and create new links between them. In order to make Sora forget Kairi, Naminé begins to replace his memories of Kairi with herself, partly because she is Kairi's Nobody and so is unable to completely erase her from Sora's memories. Meanwhile, a conflict between the members of the Organization leads to several encounters between Sora and Riku, whose memories of Kairi have also been replaced with ones containing Naminé.

The trio's uncertainty builds up to a point where they end up in Twilight Town, a place that Sora is fairly certain that he has never been in, and thus should not exist in his memory. Organization member IV, Vexen, reveals that it is a place that exists on the other side of Sora's heart, but is eliminated by Axel, another member of the Organization, before he can explain anything.

Axel ends up betraying Marluxia, the lord of Castle Oblivion, revealing that Marluxia and Larxene, the newest members of their group, intend to use Sora to overthrow the Organization. Axel manipulates Naminé into doing what she believes is right. Donald and Goofy try to reason with Sora about the whole situation later, but he is so stubborn that he separates from them to go on his own.

On Destiny Islands, Sora is touched to have finally found Naminé, who tries to make him remember who was truly important to him. After taking one look at the lucky charm, it returns to its original form and Naminé takes the temporary form of Kairi. Sora escapes the memory-based Destiny Islands and confronts Naminé, who reveals that she never existed in Sora's memory and that she has been replacing the person most important to him. Riku appears to them again and is again defeated by Sora. When Sora tries to help the injured Riku, he attacks Sora and gains the upper hand. Having left no choice, Naminé uses her power to break Riku's memories, and it causes him to collapse. Larxene comes forth to eliminate Sora and Riku, who is revealed to actually be a Riku Replica, created by Vexen.

When Larxene is about to eliminate Sora, Donald and Goofy catch up to save him. Although Sora had been a jerk to go on his own, they quickly forgive him and state how they would always stay together. Together, they defeat Larxene and Sora forgives a regretful Naminé for her actions. She promises to restore the memories of the trio once they reach the 13th Floor of Castle Oblivion, where Marluxia is waiting for them. Axel attempts to destroy Marluxia himself, but then Marluxia uses Naminé as a human shield. Sora steps in and defeats Axel. After finally catching up to them, Marluxia orders Naminé to completely erase Sora's memory so he could make Sora his puppet; Naminé refuses, but Sora orders her to do so in order to protect her from Marluxia's wrath. Fortunately, the Riku Replica, its true memories returned after his false ones are broken, arrives and saves Naminé before she was able to do so.

Then Sora, Donald, and Goofy step into the thirteenth floor's dimension where they fight Marluxia in an incredible battle.

Once Marluxia was defeated, Naminé asks that they step into Memory Pods that would rearrange their memories back to the way they were at the cost of breaking the links she created. She also informs him that the process will take some time, during which Sora, Donald, and Goofy would sleep as their memories are slowly restored. While they know that they would forget Naminé, Sora promises her that while she was forgotten, she would remain somewhere in his heart, never lost. And when he wakes up, they would become friends for real.

Right before he goes to sleep, Naminé informs him that some of his memories are unreachable and asks him to remember Kairi, because his memory of her is the light that would bring them all back. Sora then uses most of the power of his memories to remember Kairi before going to sleep for real.

Naminé's powers are unable to do much to fix the problems, however, recovery becomes more apparent as they discover the existence of Roxas, Sora's Nobody, and Xion, a replica of Roxas created from his leaked memories. As Roxas and Sora are connected, and Xion is created from their intertwined memories, Sora's lost memory pieces found their way inside Xion through Roxas. This act causes Sora's memory restoration process to come to a complete stop.

The Organization intends to have Xion absorb Roxas, forming a "new Sora" under their control, an act that would erase Roxas and make it impossible for the real Sora to ever awaken. When Xion discovers this truth, she is willing to return to Sora, saving him at the cost of her existence.

But before she can, Axel comes to take her back to Organization XIII, starting a fight which Xion loses. During her captivity, she is stored within machine-like devices and given new powers so she may be able to absorb Roxas when the time comes.

Eventually, Roxas and Xion meet at the Clock Tower of Twilight Town, where she removes her hood, revealing that she now completely resembles Sora through the effects of his memory flow. Although she fights with all her strength, Roxas defeats her in the end, and as she disappears and returns to her origin, she asks Roxas to free Kingdom Hearts from Xemnas' control.

Although Sora's lost memories are back where they should be, Roxas, Sora's body and soul, is still on the loose, preventing Sora's complete restoration. Riku hunts Roxas down and finds him just as both arrive at Memory's Skyscraper, Roxas having defected from the Organization. After an intense battle, Riku captures Roxas and brings him back to DiZ and Naminé.

One year later, Sora, Donald, and Goofy reawake in the basement of the Old Mansion located in Twilight Town with their former memories restored, although they cannot remember what happened in Castle Oblivion. But before they awake in Twilight Town, Roxas comes to see Sora and eventually fuses with him. Continuing their journey to find Riku and King Mickey, they set out traveling across new worlds, meeting old friends and enemies from the original Kingdom Hearts game while also making new friends. They continue the battle against the Heartless and now a new threat, the remaining members of the Organization they encountered in Chain of Memories.

Soon after exploring Twilight Town, Sora and company head off to the Mysterious Tower and Sora obtains new attire—on the advice of master sorcerer Yen Sid considering Sora's first game outfit to be "too small" from Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. The new outfit enables Sora to transform into his Drive Form and attain special powers for each of them. The source of the clothing's magic is linked to Sora's heart, which is connected to everyone Sora had befriended, including Donald and Goofy. Sora was referred to as the "Key that connects everything" by Yen Sid, which is how Naminé's memory manipulation works.

Sora expresses his determination to bring Riku back home with him to Destiny Islands, where Kairi is waiting for them. The quest gets more complicated when Kairi herself gets kidnapped by Axel. Pete (who works for the resurrected Maleficent) and Organization XIII are causing trouble in the other worlds, and King Mickey refuses to give information regarding Riku. Sora must also discover why some of the members of Organization XIII address him as Roxas even after he clearly states his name is Sora. He travels to other worlds to find Riku and the King, help the worlds and stop Organization XIII. His new journey brings him to meet up with some old friends and make new ones.

At one point in the storyline, Donald and Goofy's homeworld becomes infested with Heartless, which is rather unusual considering their world's protection, and Sora visits their castle for the first time. While Donald and Goofy set out to warn the castle's residents about the danger, Sora escorts Queen Minnie to the audience chamber where the Cornerstone of Light is hidden under. He finds out that Pete and Maleficent have found a doorway to Timeless River, a past timeline of their world before the castle was built. With some help from Merlin, Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel through time and manage to stop Pete from destroying the Cornerstone of Light in the past, which also saves the castle for good.

Sora, with the help of the Hayner, Pence, Olette (three friends of Roxas in DiZ's simulated Twilight Town), and Axel (who sacrifices his existence), manages to find the route to the World That Never Was: which is the stronghold of the Organization, where Kingdom Hearts, created by gathering the countless hearts from the Heartless slain by Sora's Keyblade, resides. Soon after entering the world however, in the area of Memory's Skyscraper, Sora's group is ambushed by Samurai Nobodies and Sora is forced into a showdown with an organization member, who turns out to be Roxas (disguised in his former Organization XIII cloak) on a platform of Awakening.

In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, you can fight Roxas instead of watching the fight between Sora and Roxas as a cutscene. At the start of the fight, Sora asks who Roxas is, and he answers, "Someone from the dark.", then asks Sora: "Tell me...Tell me why he picked you!".

As Roxas is above and Sora below, he sees the picture of Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy (as the platform's design). Roxas then says, "I see, that's why.", and continues the fight. Roxas knocks the Keyblade out of Sora's grasp, and as he goes to retrieve it, Roxas pins it down with his own Keyblade. Sora then reaches out for his Keyblade, which disappears and reappears in his hands, after which Sora quickly strikes while Roxas stands shocked, not knowing how that happened.

Ultimately, Sora's control over his Keyblade gave him the edge over Roxas, who collapses and reveals his face. As he and the scenery disappear, Roxas says to Sora "You make a good other." Sora reappears next to Donald and Goofy, who tell him that while he disappeared, they had to fight some Nobodies, and they continue towards the massive castle where Kairi awaits them.

Afterwards, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and King Mickey storm the Castle in search of their friends. They meet Saïx at the Hall of Empty Melodies, who tells them that Kingdom Hearts is near completion, and it only needed "one more dose from the Keyblade Bearer." He summons hordes of Shadows and disappears to go after Maleficent and Pete who were also in the castle. The Heartless overpower Sora, but are destroyed by a rain of laser bullets. Sora then engages in a battle with Xigbar and soon defeats him. He finds Kairi and Riku (with the appearance of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, which is the price he paid to help Sora wake up).

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy make it to the Proof of Existence of the Organization, in which there are only two places to go. They enter one of the odd pathways only to encounter Luxord. Although Luxord traps everyone but Sora in cards, he is still defeated by the Keyblade master. Next, they enter Addled Impasse where they find Saïx staring up at the moon. Saïx points out that only Roxas could have made it this far in one piece and Sora gets angry and prepares to attack him. Saïx blows Riku and Kairi away and uses the power of the moon to fight. After one of Sora's most difficult battles, Saïx is finally defeated. Sora then questions who Roxas is and why he was constantly being called by that name when Riku finally reveals to Sora that Roxas is his Nobody.

With the mysteries of Roxas' identity finally solved, they continue on. Fighting their way up the winding paths of the Castle That Never Was, Sora, Riku, and the others encounter King Mickey and DiZ, now revealed to be the former ruler of Radiant Garden, before it was taken over and renamed Hollow Bastion, Ansem the Wise, who was trying to absorb Kingdom Hearts into his machine and encode it as data. Xemnas appears to see who is tampering with Kingdom Hearts and finds his old teacher. Then Xemnas finally tells Sora and the others of his true plan, to make a Kingdom out of hearts. One that he would rule. Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts proved too strong for Ansem's machine, and with his final words, he tells Sora the rest is up to him and tells Roxas, "Roxas, I doubt you can hear me but, I am sorry", before the machine explodes, taking Ansem with it. The energy released in the explosion destroys a good deal of Kingdom Hearts and reverts Riku's appearance to the way it was.

Near the pinnacle of the castle, Heartless appear in vast hordes. Maleficent and Pete show up and stall them while the party heads toward their final battle. When they reach the Altar of Naught at the pinnacle of the castle, they confront Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII. After a short conversation with the Nobody, Sora is taken by Xemnas to the front of Memory's Skyscraper for a one-on-one battle. After an intense fight, Sora defeats Xemnas and is transported back to his friends.

However, Xemnas appears again and, despite the protests of the group, enters and absorbs Kingdom Hearts. The party was in luck though, and by the will of the worlds a door to Kingdom Hearts is made. Sora, Riku and the King open the door with their Keyblades, breaking the barrier separating them from Xemnas. The party enters but Sora, Riku, Donald and Goofy become separated from King Mickey and Kairi because of Xemnas.

Inside, they discover that Kingdom Hearts was made by the Superior to look like the World That Never Was. They charge through and quickly get to Xemnas and battle him, with Xemnas in armor using the tactics of the rest of the Organization. After they seemingly defeat the Organization leader and return to the Altar of Naught, Roxas emerges from Sora's body to speak with Naminé before she fuses with Kairi. Before this, Naminé opens a door to lead them out of the World That Never Was. He informs Sora that whenever he and Kairi are together, Roxas and Naminé will be together as well. Naminé then joins with Kairi to complete herself, while Roxas returns to Sora's body making Sora whole.

Unfortunately, before Sora and Riku can enter the Corridor, Xemnas attacks once again on the Captain's Seat of an enormous Dragon Nobody. In an epic air battle they manage to defeat this form of Xemnas as well. Riku is injured by Xemnas, who strikes at both with his Ethereal Blades. Falling through the air on the brink of defeat, Sora grabs Riku's Keyblade and batters Xemnas with both. Returning it to Riku, they use a bolt of light and dark energy to finish off Xemnas.

Afterward, Sora must help Riku walk, as he sustained a heavy injury from one of Xemnas' Ethereal Blades. They wander through the eternal abyss and eventually come to a dark beach under a pale moon, the Dark Margin. Resting at the shoreline, they discuss their adventures and friendship, and come to the conclusion that they did what they set out to do, and agreed that "If worlds are made of light and darkness, we'll be the darkness." The Realm of Light was safe, and they could now sit and let peace envelop them.

As they listen to the waves, a bottle containing a letter that Kairi wrote washes onto the shore. Riku picks it up, and, after reading it, gives it to Sora, believing him to be the proper recipient. The letter reads:

"Thinking of you, wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward to realize this wish.
And who knows:
starting a new journey may not be so hard,
or maybe it has already begun.
There are many worlds, but they share the same sky —
one sky, one destiny."

-Kairi

After Sora reads it, the door to light appears, and both Sora and Riku use it to return to their homeworld: Destiny Islands.

Having brought Riku back home and reunited at last with all his friends in one piece, Sora is finally able to return Kairi's lucky charm to her, saying "We-We're back!" and Kairi corrects him saying "You're home". Kairi extends her arm to Sora, and he grasps her hand while simultaneously returning the charm he kept for her all this time.

Sometime later, Sora is walking around in the Secret Cave. He smiles while looking at all the pictures he and Kairi had drawn over the years. He glances down at the picture of Kairi and himself. He sees that Kairi drew the other half of an Paopu fruit, and smiles to himself, mimicking Kairi's actions from a year ago.

Much later, Sora asks Riku what he thinks the door to light was. Riku replies that it was Sora's heart; "It's always closer than you think". Kairi runs up to them breathlessly and gives them a bottle she found, containing a letter from King Mickey. The trio reads the letter.

King Mickey digitizes Jiminy's Journal and creates a Digital copy of Sora in order to investigate a strange message Jiminy found within it. The digital journal is corrupted by computer bugs in the form of data blocks, and the Data-Sora goes through and eliminates them all, eventually discovering that it was Sora's own Heartless that had been corrupting the journal.

After defeating the Heartless, the Data-Sora goes even deeper and discovers that Naminé and Ansem had hidden data about those who were in suffering (Roxas, Naminé, Xion, Axel, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus) within the real Sora's memories. With this knowledge, King Mickey writes a letter to Sora asking for him to go on a mission to save them. Later, Mickey meets with his old Master, Yen Sid, who reveals that with Ansem and Xemnas' defeat, Xehanort has returned, and that Sora and Riku must undergo the Mark of Mastery exam to properly combat him.

In Ansem and Aqua's encounter deep within the realm of darkness, it is revealed by Ansem that he has hidden his research (most likely the one concerning Kingdom Hearts and the realms of Light and Darkness) inside of Sora, during his sleep in-between Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. He then proceeds to say that he would like to believe that "this boy" will be the one who will open the "right door" and save all of those whose lives were ruined by his research, including himself and Aqua.

Later, after Sora has received Mickey's newest letter, he sits on the Paopu tree while holding the message from King Mickey, staring off into the sunset.

It is revealed that he has now read the contents of the message and must venture out on a new quest to find Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, as well as the others connected to him, and save them from their suffering. As he says goodbye to Kairi, she gives Sora her Wayfinder again, telling him, "See you soon".

Sora and Riku are first seen at Destiny Islands in their Kingdom Hearts outfits, having been sent back by Yen Sid to the time shortly before their world falls to sleep. Sora wonders how far the raft can take them. They soon begin to sail on the ocean, but they end up in a storm and undergo an attack by Ursula, whom Sora recognizes. After the battle, they end up in a whirlpool and get separated. A keyhole opens, allowing Sora and Riku entrance to the Sleeping Worlds.

After this, a conversation between the kids and Yen Sid is shown. Yen Sid tells them about Master Xehanort and that both of them should become Keyblade Masters in order to face this new threat. Sora claims that even without taking the Mark of Mastery exam, no one can beat the two of them. Yen Sid then sends them to the Realm of Sleep.

Sora wakes up in Traverse Town, noticing the change of his outfit, which he presumes is "more of Master Yen Sid's magic". He immediately goes searching for Riku, though he runs into Neku Sakuraba instead. Neku explains the concept of Dream Eaters to Sora and leads him to the Third District, where a hooded figure attacks them. Sora attempts to help Neku but eventually falls asleep.

Sora later wakes up and chooses to find Neku, discovering new areas of Traverse Town that he's never seen before. He meets Rhyme, who helps on his search for Neku; when they find him, Neku apologizes to Sora. Rhyme suddenly disappears and more hooded figures appear, only to summon a giant Dream Eater, which Sora defeats. Sora then sees a transparent Riku, who disappears into Young Xehanort. Joshua then appears with Rhyme and Neku, and Sora realizes that he and Riku are parallel to each other.

Sora travels to La Cité des Cloches, where Judge Claude Frollo stops him. He wonders if Sora is a gypsy, because of his unusual clothes and appearance. When Phoebus comes to tell that there are monsters on the loose, Sora runs to fight them and eventually meets Quasimodo, who saves Esmeralda. Sora and Phoebus follow them to Notre Dame's attics. After some time, Sora meets Phoebus and Quasimodo again and they travel to the Court of Miracles, where Sora gets knocked out by a Dream Eater, while Frollo takes Esmeralda away. Sora wakes up and travels back to the city, where Quasimodo saves Esmeralda. Sora destroys a Dream Eater and sees Frollo fall to his defeat, while Phoebus saves Quasimodo from the same fate. In the cathedral, Sora says farewell to Quasimodo and the others. When he is about to leave, Young Xehanort appears and calls him a hypocrite for freeing one prisoner but keeping another. Vanitas' image also appears besides Young Xehanort, making Sora confused as the villain vanishes into darkness and Keyhole of Sleep appears. Sora unlocks it and wonders what Xehanort meant by saying his heart is a prison.

Sora then travels to The Grid, where he meets guards. When introducing himself, guards try to take him prisoner, but Sora escapes. He meets Rinzler first, then is introduced as well to Kevin, Sam, and Quorra, who inform him that Rinzler is actually Tron. Believing that Tron remembers him, Sora is determined to meet him. With Quorra's help, Sora finds Rinzler and tells him to try and remember him; however, Rinzler attacks him and Quorra before fleeing. Young Xehanort then reappears, this time with Xemnas. Xemnas tells Sora he has so many memories that can't be his alone. Sora is then sent away by strong winds, while Xemnas and Xehanort disappear. When meeting again with Rinzler and CLU, CLU tells Sora that he will turn Rinzler back to Tron, if Sora hands over his Keyblade. Sora says that he will not give it up since it gives him the "chance to make everyone happy". CLU then sends Rinzler to attack Sora. After a battle, Sora tries to remind Tron again, but CLU throws his identity disc at Sora, causing Rinzler to push Sora to safety before falling out of sight. CLU leaves to retrieve Rinzler, and Sora unlocks The Grid's Keyhole of Sleep.

When Sora arrives at The World That Never Was, where he lands near Memory's Skyscraper and encounters Xigbar. Xigbar explains that Ansem, the brown-robed man, had contact with Sora when he first entered the Sleeping Worlds from Destiny Islands, allowing the Organization to track Sora through his dreams and lead him to this world. Angered, Sora blames Xigbar for what happened and prepares to fight, and Xigbar notes that he is glaring at him like Ventus always did, even calling Sora as "Roxas". He then jumps above Sora and fires twelve arrows around him, eleven of which spawn unknown hooded figures, and the remaining one spawns Young Xehanort, who offers his hand and tells Sora to come with him. Sora then immediately drops.

Sora wakes, realizing he is at Destiny Islands, where Young Xehanort is sitting just next to him. They watch the other Young Xehanort, who meets "Ansem", who grants him abilities to time travel. "Ansem" then approaches Sora, who shouts in fear. In the next scene, Sora and Young Xehanort are still on the islands during nighttime. They see Sora running into the secret cave and they talk a little until Kairi steps out from the cave towards Sora. The next scene shows Sora falling from the air with other Soras. The real Sora lands on his feet and sees the Sora copies moving about Traverse Town. Young Xehanort talks to him about his journeys through Traverse Town.

Sora then wakes up at Dark City back in his Kingdom Hearts II attire. He immediately sees Naminé, who tries to run away from him, but Sora grabs her arm. Namine then turns into Xion. Sora is unaware of her identity, yet unconsciously sheds a tear as she runs off. Sora runs after her, only to meet Roxas. Roxas tells Sora that they should share all memories and emotions, but Sora denies this by saying that Roxas is just Roxas and they are not the same. He also thinks that Roxas should be able to exist by himself. Roxas is surprised, and shares his painful memories with Sora before vanishing. Sora starts to blame Organization XIII for what they have done, but then he hears Riku's voice that warns him about chasing after illusions.

Sora later meets Kairi and Riku who turn into Aqua and Terra. Sora then turns into Ventus and stares at them. Aqua and Terra turn around and walk away and Ventus is trying to reach them, but he slows down and turns back into Sora. Sora then watches as Riku and Kairi vanish, changing into Terra and Aqua for a second. He then remembers his meeting with Aqua, a long time ago.

Sora meets Xigbar and Xemnas again and they have a conversation, where Xemnas reveals that Organization XIII was created in order to form the Thirteen Hearts of Darkness, which Master Xehanort could use in the future. Kingdom Hearts was created in order to move pieces of Xehanort's heart into thirteen vessels. However, Xemnas discovered that Nobodies actually can cultivate new hearts, so he and Xigbar left the others in the dark about this fact to maintain their loyalty to their cause. Xigbar then reveals to Sora that he is chosen to be the final vessel of Xehanort's heart, after which Sora summons his Keyblade, saying "Connected hearts are my power." Then Kairi, Riku, Roxas, Xion, Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy appear behind him as illusions, stunning Xigbar, who tells Xemnas to take care of Sora. After a fight, Sora is completely tired and lies on the ground with darkness surrounding his body. Young Xehanort then appears, telling him that his clothes, bearing a sneaky Recusant's Sigil, feed the darkness within him, since, unlike Riku, Sora never made any protection against his inner darkness.

Sora is then seen sitting at Where Nothing Gathers. Riku and Mickey are attempting to save him when Master Xehanort attempts to split Sora's heart and make him one of his incarnations. Though Xemnas and Ansem subdue them, Lea appears and blocks Master Xehanort's attack. After that, Master Xehanort, along with his new Organization XIII, vanishes. Riku, Lea, and the others return to the Mysterious Tower, where Yen Sid sends Riku into Sora's heart in order to save him from falling into darkness. Whilst there, Riku discovers that Roxas, Ventus, and Xion still reside within Sora's heart, as does a copy of Ansem the Wise.

After that, Sora wakes up and he, Donald, and Goofy have a tea party; Riku wakes up and Sora hugs him, relieved his friend is okay as well. Yen Sid then tells them that only Riku passed the Mark of Mastery. Sora, however, does not appear to be sad at all, and he even congratulates Riku. Lea then reveals that he also has a Keyblade and that he will help them in the near future. Sora then returns to the Realm of Sleep in order to thank all the Spirit Dream Eaters he had become friends with.

Sometime later, Sora returns to the Mysterious Tower from a secret mission and is dismayed to learn that Riku, Mickey, and Lea have left for their own missions. Yen Sid then tells Sora that he has, once again, lost most of his power after being captured by Master Xehanort. He then goes on to tell him that he must reclaim his lost power by following his heart, and reuniting with his friends, and advises Sora to visit a hero who had lost and then regained his strength.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy depart, but don't get very far because Sora doesn't know where to go. He and Donald begin arguing about this, until Goofy says, "May your heart be your guiding key," an old saying of the ancient Keyblade wielders. Sora repeats it to himself and realizes where they must go. He opens a gateway to Olympus Coliseum, which they then go through to visit Hercules.

Sora awakens in the Dive to the Heart, after looking through memories of his past he ends up at the edge of The Final World where he encounters and defeats a semi-transparent Darkside.

Per Master Yen Sid's instructions, Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel to Olympus Coliseum to seek training from Hercules. As they reach the world, they encounter Hades, who uses the titans to attack Thebes and claim his place in Olympus. As they form an alliance to save the civilians from the Heartless, Sora asked Hercules how he regains his strength to save the people he loves. Hercules replies that he regains his strength when Megara is in danger. After saving the civilians from the heartless, Megara returns with Pegasus to inform Hercules that Olympus is in danger and he heads back to Olympus to save Zeus and the rest of the Gods. When they reach Olympus, they see Hades and the rest of the Titans, who plan to confine Zeus and the rest of the Gods with ice and lava. After rescuing Zeus and the gods, Hercules punches Hades in the face before he leaves Olympus. As Hercules wanted to answer Sora's question, he realizes that he should figure out his own ways to regain his strength by fighting "with all his heart".

At the Mysterious Tower, Sora reported to Yen Sid that he might not be able to regain his strength at the time being. Despite the worries of acquiring the power of waking, he remains optimistic and believes that he can relearn his powers and skills. They are greeted by Riku and Mickey, who are assigned to find Aqua in the Dark World but to no avail. As they suspect that Aqua might have fallen into the great abyss of darkness, Sora volunteers to save Aqua from the Dark World. After receiving his new garments from Yen Sid and the fairies, he receives a heartbinder as a good luck charm before traveling to another world. In the Gummi Ship, Chip and Dale report to Sora, Donald, and Goofy, via Gummiphone, with new instructions on using the Gummiphone and a brief conversation with Ienzo. As Donald and Goofy learn that Sora has another heart resided inside of him, who Sora believes it belongs to Roxas', Ienzo decides to further study Sora's physical condition and the other heart that's resided in him since he was very young.

Sora proceeds to Twilight Town to initially create data and a vessel for Roxas. As they are walking around the town, they recollect old memories of encountering Maleficent, Xigbar, and Pete as well as Sora's encounter with Roxas in the data Sleeping Worlds. Goofy explains that the data Sleeping Worlds are part of the test to see whether Sora is able to face his fears and past hurts. Sora further explains that losing friends and "having no one to turn to was the worst kind of hurt" but it is a process to appreciate his friendships with Riku and Kairi.

As Sora is determined to find Roxas, his conversation is cut short by Nobodies and hordes of Heartless. After saving Hayner, Pence, and Olette, they ask for Roxas' whereabouts but they can't remember him until Goofy shows a photo of them with Roxas together. They told them that that was the other digital version of Twilight Town, where their data version of themselves befriended Roxas. As Sora and the rest of the friends enter the Old Mansion, Pence enters the Door of Darkness system to activate the transporter to access the virtual Twilight Town. Ienzo helps the rest of them to enter into the system to allow Sora to enter into the virtual world. Inside the virtual world, he plans to rebuild Roxas by decoding Ansem's Code. After being pressured by both Xemnas and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, Sora chooses to restore Roxas into the real Twilight Town. As he converses with Riku regarding the replica program, Sora learns that Roxas can only be resurrected by making a vessel for him to live. Without Even's help, Sora's plan to revive Roxas might not happen. Eventually, the trio proceeds to Destiny Islands where Sora finds the Master's Defender lying abandoned in the sand. Sora proceeds to the Dark World via the Secret Place, only to see Riku and Mickey battle with Anti-Aqua, who has succumbed to the Darkness. He helps both Riku and Mickey to save Aqua and bring her back to the Destiny Islands. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Aqua then venture out to Castle Oblivion where Sora, Donald, and Goofy have lost their memories. Aqua summons the Master Defender Keyblade and unlocks Castle Oblivion, transforming it to its original form, the Land of Departure.

Together, they enter the main hall to find Ventus, still sleeping due to his heart residing inside Sora. Vanitas soon arrives to complement Aqua on her "neat trick" as no one was able to find Ventus in over ten years. Aqua takes it upon herself to battle Vanitas while ensuring Sora, Donald and Goofy remain out of the battle. After the fight, Vanitas attempts to break the barrier surrounding them both with Aqua intervening just before it breaks. Sora, in a desperate attempt to help Aqua, manages to unlock Ventus' heart from within himself and wakes Ventus from his comatose state, saving Aqua and forcing Vanitas to retreat. The group returns to the Mysterious Tower to rendezvous with Riku, Mickey, Kairi and Lea. Aqua reminisces over Sora, Riku, and Kairi having met them when they were children. Lea and Ventus also have a reunion, with Ventus learning that Lea is now a Keyblade Wielder. Sora mentions to the group that he wishes that Terra, Roxas, and Naminé could be there with them while Aqua, Ventus, Lea, and Kairi take responsibility for each missing person. Yen Sid tells the group to prepare for the final battle to come. Sora, Riku, and Kairi return to the Destiny Islands for one last moment of peace where Kairi asks Sora to exchange paopu fruit. They hope to keep each other safe in the battle.

The seven Guardians of Light along with Donald and Goofy arrive at the Keyblade Graveyard, ready to clash with the thirteen seekers of darkness. They are greeted by Master Xehanort. Gradually, Xemnas, Ansem, Vanitas and Young Xehanort also arrive to taunt the seven guardians of their impending failure. The seekers of darkness then unleash a massive swarm of Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed for the Guardians to fight.

After defeating the swarm of enemies, Sora, Donald, and Goofy catch up to the other guardians of light. The guardians come across Terra still under Xehanort's control but before they have time to act, Terra overpowers the guardians and proceeds to kill Sora and Kairi only to be stopped by Donald and Goofy. After the attack and seeing Donald, Ventus, and Axel injured, Sora begins to doubt himself but then suddenly a massive swarm of Heartless forms a huge tornado that sucks up all the guardians except for Sora and Riku. After seeing this, Sora breaks down in tears and says that his friends gave him strength and he's useless on his own. Riku tells Sora that he doesn't believe any of that before he takes a stand and blocks the swarm of Heartless to defend Sora. This ultimately ends in Riku getting consumed by the Heartless and then the Heartless proceed to attack Sora. Sora wakes up in The Final World. He encounters the Nameless Star as well as a bodiless Naminé. Sora is guided back to the realm of light with the help of Kairi and Chirithy and uses the power of waking to revive his friends. However, Young Xehanort warns that abusing this power will result in him losing his own heart again. Returning moments before their defeat, the guardians of light eliminate most of the Organization's members; in the process, Terra, his heart revealed to be inside Xehanort's guardian, regains control of his body and reunites with Aqua and Ventus, while Lea reunites with Xion, whom Vexen restored for the Organization, and Roxas, who regains his own heart to protect Lea and Xion.

When only Xehanort remains, he provokes Sora into attacking him by destroying Kairi's body, allowing Xehanort to acquire the χ-blade and summon Kingdom Hearts. Using Xehanort's power of time travel against him, Sora, Donald, and Goofy transport him to his boyhood training grounds of Scala ad Caelum, where they defeat him. After the other Keyblade wielders rejoin the trio, Eraqus' spirit emerges from Terra's body and convinces Xehanort to surrender. Xehanort and Eraqus depart together to Kingdom Hearts, while Sora and his friends use the χ-blade to close Kingdom Hearts and return to their own time. Trying to save Kairi, Sora uses the Power of Waking again to revive her; despite the risk of becoming lost forever, Sora promises to return.

Sora appears in The Final World and explains his situation to Chirithy under the belief that using the Power of Waking to save Kairi shouldn't be that hard, considering he had already saved six hearts before. Chirithy explains to Sora what will happen if he saves Kairi; he will lose the Power of Waking and will vanish from the world and be unable to return. Sora throws caution to the wind and expresses his desire to save Kairi. Chirithy then explains what Sora must do. He must travel back in time and connect with the hearts of the Seven Guardians of Light during the final showdown at the Keyblade Graveyard.

Sora then proceeds to connect with Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Roxas, and himself. Needing only two more connections, Sora was forced to witness Xehanort slaying Kairi again but proceeds to Scala ad Caelum before his past self arrives with Donald and Goofy. Sora then chases an image of Kairi and collects five fragments of her heart. After collecting them Xehanort arrives and tells him he is too late while turning his attention to his past self who has just arrived in Scala. Sora quickly connects with himself again and traces his connection between himself and Riku while the latter was fighting off the Replica Xehanorts with the other guardians. Sora then connects with Mickey and aids him in finishing the battle. With seven connections, Sora finally re-completes Kairi to her original form.

The two quickly embrace, but their reunion is cut short with the arrival of Master Xehanort. Kairi and Sora then proceed to battle Master Xehanort and succeed. After the two assist the other guardians in closing Kingdom Hearts, they then leave for their own time. Sora takes Kairi to the final world and introduces her to Chrithy. He states he wants to bring Chrithy home to his friend, as waiting while you can do something is pointless. Sora and Kairi proceed to visit the various locations the other guardians left after Sora's initial departure, even releasing Naminé's heart from Kairi.

Sora's friends gather at the Destiny Islands, where Kairi stays beside Sora and the latter says something to Kairi before he fades away.

Sora awakens in an unfamiliar city. Disoriented, he walks the streets observing where he is, eventually finding himself at a crosswalk staring at a building with the number "104" displayed.

Sora then wakes up in a nighttime version of The Final World. He then calls out to anyone who can hear him. He soon hears a voice and runs towards it. When finding the source of the voice he recognizes the mysterious person as Yozora. Yozora asks Sora how he knows who he is while also making it clear Yozora knows who he is. Yozora states that he doesn't normally look the way he does now and tells Sora that they aren't in the real world right now. Yozora summons his weapons and the two youths soon teleport over to Quadratum on top of the 104 building. Yozora states after accidentally stumbling there and going through some trials he was asked to "save" Sora. Sora questions why he would summon his weapons. Yozora doesn't answer and the two proceed to fight.

After Yozora is defeated, he states that his powers must not be needed yet. Sora asks him what he meant by that, but Yozora shrugs off the question and disappears while smiling. A flash of light appears and Sora then appears in The Final World. Sora then wonders if any of this is real and states nothing makes sense to him.

A year later, Sora awakens in Quadratum and meets Strelitzia, who explains to him that this world works as an "afterlife" for them. At some point while in this world, Sora fights a giant Heartless, who appears in the middle of the city, as the Master of Masters and Luxu observe the battle atop a nearby building.

Please forgive my generic greeting! I know many people don't like them. Anyway, hello! My name is Naminé! It's nice to meet you! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your friend and form a bond with you! Please be patient with me, I can be very shy at first! I am also a little slow as I have other accounts and real life obligations! I do look forward to writing with you though! I would love to get something started! We can discuss a story or wing something! I am also open to banter and chatting! I am also discord friendly if that is preferable! I look forward to hearing from you in the future!

" going dark. "
Attention: Sora | Mentions: Belle, Beast, Chip, some jackass, samurai bffs
" His light burns as bright and as brief as the setting sun. No. XIII. "
In tandem with his brother, Roxas drew the hood of his cloak up over his head; so that for all the world, he was still part of the failed Organization. Whatever had caused the commotion outside made him hesitant; he knew this place like the back of his hand and didn't like taking the direct route when there were secret passages that could be employed instead.

Nobody would have listened to him, though, and so he followed close at Belle's back to protect her from the rear as Sora surely would from the forward position should anything attack her directly. "Sora," he called out, and cast him a grim glance from beneath the brim of his hood.

"Magic is more potent in this world. So: use it."

There had been a distinct advantage to having had to come here so many times to perform reconnaissance, after all. He knew more about this world than he even did about Xemnas's little hideaway in the realm of twilight. And he had lived in it for nearly a year.

Fortunately or
unfortunately, the Beast's temper and volume broadcast the entire context of the altercation to the ENTIRE CASTLE. He sighed and hung back, close enough to Belle that when she fidgeted with her skirts and glanced back, he was right there to put a hand on her shoulder.

"You're both going to be all right. I have a wedding invitation, right? Need to make sure there's a wedding to attend."

Meanwhile: he narrowed his eyes and continued to hang back, taking in the Beast's altered appearance, and the man he was bellowing at at the top of his lungs. So, the person who had cursed them hadn't been the enchantress that he, Xion and Xaldin had heard bits and pieces about.

Someone who could wield magic to this degree wouldn't need shelter from a mere blizzard. That reeked of manipulation to Roxas, who trusted nearly no one. This entire affair had almost made a twisted sort of sense when it'd apparently been to teach a narcissist how to value the sum of a person versus their outer appearance.

Now that was rendered null and void. Roxas grit his teeth, his anger coiling just beneath the surface. He had to suck in a deep inhale of air in order to retain some semblance of his cool. This man was powerful, and he didn't want to see any one of them dead if at all possible.

Chip's line of questioning was sound, but he turned his head sharply to look at Belle with a disapproving glance. "Better to tell him the truth," he muttered softly. Lies, however benign never did anyone any favours.

"Just--"

He'd turned to focus on Sora, who'd begun to speak to him when all HELL broke loose. Being disytracted rendered him unable to catch Chip in time, and his eyes widened, pupils widening to encompass the iris so they appeared black rather than their customary blue.

Belle screamed, and fell to her knees, tears leaking from her eyes as she held out her apron pocket and immediately started gathering the shards of porcelain that still made up Chip's being. This was, to Roxas's understanding: a child. A little boy who'd been turned into crockery for nothing.

He bared his teeth in a feral look toward the man. "Not unless you die first." The words were said with a deadly calm before the boy disappeared into a portal of darkness--only to emerge at brekneck speed from a corresponding portal that appeared behind the man and to his right.

A pincer move. He and Sora were in complete sync, after all. And Roxas held nothing back. Oathkeeper and Oblivion glowed as he sped forward, several white-hot pillars of light appearing all around him--which he slammed toward the stranger with all the strength he had behind his keyblades.

Annoyed with the Beast's atittude, he finally bit out: "Either help us or get out of the way! You're going to end up in the crossfire." That hulking moron was going to get somebody killed, and with his dumb, rotten luck; it wouldn't be him but Belle or Ms. Potts or someone else.

The strange man turned to look at him and grinned, his eyes a hue unlike the glowing amber of Xemnas but still utterly inhuman. "My, my! That's some small talent ye've got for magic there, dearie!"

He strode forward, ignoring Sora for the time being, intent on engaging the one who appeared the more lethal foe directly. --only to find his way blocked by a solid line of samurai nobodies. Cogsworth emerged at the top of the stairwell and cried out at the sight of them. But Roxas merely grit his teeth as more of his friends appeared, finally nearly surrounding the crocodile.

"Guys, be careful!"

WE LIVE AND DIE FOR YOU, LIEGE. THAT IS OUR PURPOSE.

Several of them were cut down with such ease and by a mere dagger that Roxas staggered back. The nobodies were tied to his heart, and so each death caused him agony so fierce he was now experiencing double vision.

"N-No," he stammered, fighting to retain his balance. "You're my friends. Now get out of the way! I'm not risking your lives like this."

The strange man simply smiled, and raised his blade--and Roxas was now also seeing red. Light help them all, but he would burn this castle to the ground to save his friends.

Two weeks ago:

The idea of Professor Roger having a hot wife was a rather odd yet interesting one. It made kairi wonder if he did have a wife, what did she look like? Was she a cute little bunny? Or something else like them furry's? Or maybe something totally and completely different that neither her or sora would suspect. Kairi wasn't really the jealous type. However if she did known Jessica Rabbit and what she looked like, you can bet the redhead would feel jealous. And probably insecure. But that was normal considering she liked sora alot. More then liked really. Love. She was in love with the lazy bum.

Pushing her thoughts aside she then had glanced to the clock seeing lunch was almost over. Their next class math would be starting soon. When she mentioned this to Sora, violet blue hues wwnt wide at the speed he was devouring food. "whoa, slow down sora. Don't get choked now.." She said while a small sweat drop formed on her head smiling at him sheepishly. At the rate he was eating, she would be surprised if she didn't have to perform the Heimlich maneuver on him.Soon, he had joined her and she smiled taking his hand, while heading toward their math class. It didn't take much for kairi to know sora was not looking forward to it. His big sigh and groan were a big giveaway.

"Oh come on Sora. Mrs. Nolan is nice." She told him as she watched him stalling at the door refusing to go in the classroom. Kairi knew sora hated math. It really wasn't his best subject. Though she knew he hated math, she didn't know why he didn't like Mrs. Nolan. To kairi she was very understanding and caring. Even offering to help those having trouble. Then again she wondered if sora just used that as a excuse because he was bad at math. Pushing her thoughts aside, she shook her head. "I know you don't like math Sora. How about we get together after school and I help you with our math homework?" She offered with a smile dragging him in the classroom with her. Once inside, she took her seat smiling at Mrs Nolan. Mrs. Nolan smiled at the two, noticing she held his hand as she wrote the lesson on the board before class started.

Traverse Town:

Finally! They had done it! They had actually found Professor Roger. He was here in this town. Somewhere. Kairi wasn't sure how they would but she knew deep in her heart they would find him. And now that actually had, she couldn't believe it. It was almost too surreal to be true. She was happy to know he was alright. At least now she knew the accident he had suffered, likely caused by Loki wasn't fatal. However, despite at how happy she was at learning Professor Roger was okay, Kairi couldn't help but worry about the island. What had happened to their home? Their families? Their Friends? Were they alright? The redhead thought with worry, hoping that none of them were hurt and had ended up somewhere safe like her and sora had. But she had to stay positive. She wasn't sure how but everything would be okay and would be alright.

As Kairi talked with Donald and Goofy, she wondered more about how the keys were supposed to help them. The two had not really said much on the subject only to come with them. It wasn't like kairi had thought they were bad, despite the ducks attitude and prone to anger quickly, she didn't know them very well. Yes they felt familiar to her and Sora. But still she was hesitant. As if Sora had read her mind, she found herself being pulled to the side by him. Her head tilted as she listened to him speak. "Are you sure that's the reason Sora? Maybe you just want it to be us traveling together?" She was teasing him of course. Trying to lighten the mood and well flirt with him. Her voice was soft and playful. Kairi then gave a soft nod in understanding. "I know Sora. But we have each other. Plus I don't think they mean us any harm. Well Goofy doesn't..Donald I'm not so sure.." She then said giggling softly. Reaching toward him, she took his hand in hers giving it a gentle squeeze. " We're in this together Sora. No matter what. I've got your back and you mine."

Two weeks ago:

The more she thought of it, the more she figured that she was, if not right, at least onto something. Professor Loki was, what was the word? Conceited, full of himself. Oh and a big ego that didn't seem to deflate. So, of course it made sense, to kairi at least that he would do something to the books that boosted his already large ego. But why? Maybe he was jealous of someone and this was his way of, badly, trying to get fans? Then again, Loki was a known trickster. From the books, she had read, he was supposedly the God Of Mischief. Whatever the case, the redhead was just glad Sora believed her. Someway, somehow, she knew the two of them would figure out a way to bring back Professor Roger.

Speaking of which, the two then talked about where he possibly might have gone off too. Kairi had suggested maybe a place with carrots. Him being a rabbit, his thought did make sense. Rabbits did love carrots after all. Though part of her had been trying to make Sora laugh and lighten the situation of their missing Professor. At least she got some humor from him. A soft laugh fell from her lips before she raised a slender brow in his direction. "a hot wife? really Sora?" She questioned amused. Out of all the things he could have come up with, this was his solution. Though if the two knew Jessica Rabbit, Sora's suggestion would probably have some truth to it. She shook her head at him, highly entertained and amused. Tilting her head, she pondered over it.

"hmm..maybe.." For the time being though, they could speculate all they wanted to. They had yet a lead after all. "well..let's just keep an eye on Professor Loki. Maybe he will slip up and possibly give us a clue. Or maybe luck will happen upon us and we magically get a clue..." Kairi then said to him with a smile as she finished eating. The lunch bell then went off, indicating their next class would start soon. Getting up, she went to throw her food away, grabbed her bag, then waited for Sora patiently.
"Come on lazy bum, let's head to class." Reaching out, she offered him her hand, a soft smile on her face.

Traverse Town:

As soon as they approached the strange dog and duck, things just got more strange. For one, the duck had such a bad speech impediment that the redhead could hardly understand what he was saying. She had literally focused so hard on what he was saying her hues and nose had squinted up in concentration. Violet blue hues had looked over to sora wondering if he was having better luck at understanding him. She had given a small wave to the dog and duck before a very awkward yet amusing exchange happened between sora and the duck. Violet blue hues had widen looking at both sora and the duck in alarm and shock. Okay wha? There was no way, no way that was his last name. Something didn't sound right. Vulgar and wrong more like it. Who in their right mind would have that for a last name??? And it seemed Sora was on the same page as her when he spoke it. The redheads hues only got wider when Sora spoke the oh so offensive word. She had even glanced to him in shock, before letting out a nervous giggle. It could not be helped though. And kairi didn't blame Sora for it. The ducks last name did very much sound like, well that word.

She had been so focused on what was going on with with the ducks last name that she had almost missed Sora telling him about Roger. The duck was none too pleased with the mistake of his last name. Which kairi could understand. But then again, it was not Sora's fault for mishearing and misunderstanding the duck. Thank goodness for the one called goofy. At least he seemed nicer and not so quick to anger as the duck now known as Donald. Plus he was easy to understand when speaking. And thanks to him they both now knew Donald had said duck. A bright smile had played on the redheads face when hearing Goofy say they knew Roger. And that he was in the same place as them. "Sora, we found him!" Kairi had said her smile widening with glee at knowing that Roger was safe. Now they just had to explore this place more. Sooner or later they were bound to run into him.

Her smile though did not last as goofy continued. "Swallowed by darkness?" Her voice quivered with worry. Was that what had happened to Destiny Islands? Would they ever be able to go home again?? Was there a way of saving their home? And others homes as well?? Her thoughts were pushed aside when seeing sora's smile. It made her feel better and brought forth hope within her. A smile of her own played on her face as she smiled back to him while giving a soft nod to his question. "Don't worry Sora. We will figure this out. We're in this together." Her tone was clam yet confident as well. He knew how to always turn her from upside down.

Turing her attention back to Goofy and Donald, she tilted her head at what Donald said next, giving him a questioning stare. There only hope was to find someone with what?? Just what the heck was a khee blade?? She thought to herself briefly before a light went off in her head with realization. "Did you say a keyblade??" She asked, excitement and wonder laced in her voice. "Sora, he's talking about the keyblades!" Turning back to the tow, she then called forth her keyblade. In a flash of light, the keyblade known as destiny's embrace, took form, glimmering in hand. "Sora, summon yours." She said turning to him with a bright smile before looking back to Donald and Goofy. "okay, how can these help us bring our world back??"

A soft nod was given to him in response. "I know it may sound crazy but that's what I'm thinking. Why else would it only change after leaving his class?" She questioned to herself and to him. Kairi thought long and hard about it. What other explanation was there if not magic? "hmm..well it's worth a shot." The redhead smiled encouraging him. They had to start somewhere right? "You do have a point though. Maybe it's some other sort or magic." Her hand came to her chin as she pondered on the subject again.

When he started saying daybreak town over and over, she watched,a mixture of curiosity and amusement on her face. He looked so adorable with his nose all squenched up and was concentrating so hard, she couldn't help but find it cute. Luckily for her, it seemed he was too busy to notice that she was staring at him with a dreamy look on her face as she contiuned to watch him. Others started to notice as well. Unlike kairi, they looked at him as if he was insane. Their friend Wakka included who, to kairi's shock, actually offered sora a cure. "Don't listen to him sora. He doesn't get it." She smiled laying her hand on his shoulder trying to offer him some comfort and show he wasn't crazy.

The two had then talked about how good of a team they were. And Kairi had been so happy when Sora agreed with her as she took a sip of her drink and bite of her food. His company made the good food taste even better. And she found herself unable to stop smiling. His question about Professor Roger had her pondering again. "good question...hmm..well he is a rabbit, maybe a place with lots of carrots?" She was half joking and half serious. Before meeting him, Kairi hadn't a clue animals could talk. "Or maybe the place he was originally from? But where could that be?..." Growing quiet, she continued to eat and think over the possibilities of where their professor had went.

Traverse Town:

Shocked was an understatement on how she felt. She couldn't believe it. Her best friend, the boy she had been in love with actually loved her back. When sora had confessed to her, Kairi could not have been happier. Words could not express how happy she truly was. It took every ounce of her from jumping on him and covering his face with kisses. However, not wanting to possibly scare him, she had held back. She had felt her heart skip a beat while at the same time fluttering mad within her chest. But once over her shock, she had spoke her true feelings for him. That she in turn loved him too. And when she did, she watched in awe, her heart touched seeing him crying. Smiling warmly, she reached up gently wiping his tears away. Oh how she wanted to kiss him but maybe it was too soon for that?

Her thoughts were pushed aside when hearing the dog yap loudly then run off. She watched blinking in confusion as it stopped looking back at them. "I agree. I think you're right." She replied as he let go of her and followed the dog. Nodding in agreement, she followed after him and the dog while wondering where in the world it was leading them. A thought then came to her. Would they ever find their way back to their island? Would they be stuck there? Would they end up living here? And if so, where would they stay. There was a hotel here but they could only stay there so long. She figured if they got stuck here they would probably have to find a house. Or build one. But would they live together? The thought had kairi blushing. Well whatever happened, as long as she was with Sora, she knew everything would be okay. She had him and he her. They would be there for each other and overcome whatever lay ahead.

Her thoughts had been pushed aside when she saw a duck and another dog come into view their appearance making her hues widen. Man, this day was becoming more and more interesting by the second. They were wearing clothing. Just like Professor Roger. Could they possibly be a lead to finding him? Kair had soon paused in her tacks pondering over her thoughts staring at them in awe. Hearing sora she had glanced over to him. "No, you're not crazy. I see them too." Was her first response. "And if you're thinking they might help us find Professor Roger than yes, we are thinking the same thing." She replied smiling then looked back at the dog and duck. "You know..it may sound odd..but they seem familiar..." Her hues looked back to Sora wondering if he felt the same way. It was almost like she had met them somewhere before. "Only one way to find out, shall we go talk to them?"

Aqua's own eyes were wide with shock at what transpired within seconds. That technique was known only to masters who had been taught to do it. Terra would know, as soon as she was able to pass him. That had been her preferred thing to do rather than be dragged away by the pair of boys. And yet, here they were. There was an element of annoyance, that once again, the whims of others too precedence over something she wanted to do. Something that was right. It didn't matter if he wasn't here; she had wanted to wait until he had returned in order to enact the formality and tell him all that their father had imparted to her when she'd been the unlikely one to pass years ago.

It should have been him. That was still in the back of her mind; though, now, she was starting to believe that they both had deserved the Mark. Especially considering the meddling by Xehanort. She watched the castle transform, feeling a numb sort of detachment from it. But her gaze was sympathetic when the knight from a world called Ivalice raced upstairs, looking panicked. Stepping forward, she clapped a steadying hand upon his shoulder and smiled quietly. "It's all right, Basch. Please go make sure they're all right. Her Highness was out checking on her bulbs that she'd planted last I heard. Odds are high that they're spending time together out there. I'll deal with these two," she said, and sighed, adding: "We'll be off-world for a little while. When we get back, I'll be taking control of this house back from these unruly kids. I promise."

He bowed deeply, seemingly still disturbed by what he had seen and endured here. "My thanks, my lady. I will see myself out in that case, and ask Lord Rosfield if I might seek shelter in his home for the time being. Perhaps I might even put myself to good use in finishing his abode." Today, the shock of the transformation had sobered him immediately; Aqua was happy to see it, and she smiled at him with a nod as he walked swiftly out of the castle and out into a world which had darkened considerably.

The summoning stone was on her person at all times; Joshua would be coming with her, as she'd promised him when they had first met. Part of opening herself up was to share in experiences with him, and this, well... this she frankly felt like she needed his help with. Because it would take two of them to parent these children and get everything back into order. Her trust in terra led her to thus trust Ashe and Basch, even if Ventus did not. Turning her head, with pursed lips, she turned to the boys and glared down at Ventus.

"That really wasn't necessary. You get outside, Ven. Now. We're going to have a long talk about this later."

With a sigh, she turned to the weeping Sora, and held a hand to his cheek. "Look at me, please. I'm going to fix this, little one. It's going to be okay. I'm going to take you outside, and then I'm going to fix it." Because there were people here to watch this world. Did Ven trust Terra so little, after everything they had been through? Now, she wasn't nearly as stupid as she had once been. He was their brother; and if he trusted Ashe and Basch, loved the princess even, she thought, then he couldn't be misplacing his trust. After all, he'd become a virtual hermit after Xehnaort's defeat. Only this woman and her errant father-figure had brought out any kind of warmth in him.

Gently, she reached down to gather Sora into her arms and carried him outside; and while Ven's head ached something fierce, he staggered after her, head hanging. The air seemed cloying and thick once they finally emerged from the labyrinthine white halls into a darkened courtyard. Aqua set Sora down with a soft kiss to his forehead and then summoned Stormfall, reversing the transformation that Ven had placed upon the castle. It took a while for the edifice to shift, and for the sun to re-emerge from beyond the veil of darkness. But it did, and then, she sat close to sora, an arm around his shoulders to gather him close.

"Just let it out," she said softly. "It's all right, now. Whatever happened to you here before while it was transformed, the people responsible can't hurt you. Even if they were alive, they'd have o kill me first before they could get to you. You have become like..." she paused, and then bowed her head, trying to meet his eyes; her own gaze held a softness that barely hid the ferocity of a mother beneath. "Well. I have no children of my own, may never, but I've got you. I've got Kairi, and Xion and Roxas. You're all my family, now. I'll always be here to look out for you."

Her heart was still broken; her longing for her own father, immeasurable. But it did not dim nor lessen the love she had for these children she now viewed as hers. Gaze lingering upon him, she frowned and then glanced up at Ventus, her eyes a bit harder now. It was difficult, so difficult to not be angry. But she inhaled deeply, and said calmly: "You were right about Terra all those years ago; he never would put himself close to the darkness. Nor would he trust people who didn't deserve it. Especially after everything Xehanort put him through. You need to have faith in him; and the people he's chosen to put his faith in, Ven. These are good people; like Joshua. And I won't have them feeling unwelcome here. I'm going to trust them to look after this place. Because I'm trying to learn from my mistakes."

Then she rose, moving forward to tousle his hair and looked down at him with a shake of her head. He'd need to learn to clamp down on his impulsive nature before she could ever consider making him a master. It was a shame; his skill had grown exponentially since they'd last fought back to back together, and yet. Master Eraqus would stand with her firmly on this one. One's character had to be set, grounded in conviction to be worthy. Terra had always been. Ventus, it looked, would need more time.

She sighed and went inside to write a note for Terra, and cut up some fruit to make a quick apology fruit salad for Basch and Ashe to leave in the refrigerator. Then, she re-emerged into the sunlight, she placed her hands upon her hips and looked from one boy to the other. "I'll go with you. But not for long. I have something I need to do for Terra. And running off all the time won't see it done; he's been waiting a long time for it." In future, if the boys tried this again, she knew that she would ground them. Their thoughts had been in the right place, but all they'd achieved was all three of them in tears or trying to hold them back and having to deal with the fallout.

Master. I hope the two of us didn't give you half so many headaches; she thought with a heavy heart.

Her gaze lingered on one, then the other, and then said firmly: "Time to get up. If we're going, we're going; if not, we'll stay and spend time together until Terra returns. I want to be back by the time he is." Because she wanted to talk to her brother, and finally bestow upon him that which he'd always dreamed of; and had always deserved. Aqua couldn't sit and cry, she didn't have that luxury. One of the two boys had been through hell similar to hers, and yet; she wanted to address that with him alone. He couldn't be entirely comfortable displaying it in front of others this way. Reaching out, she took Sora's hand.

"Reach out for Kairi," she advised quietly. "Reach out and let the rhythm of your heart fall in sync with hers. It... helps."

It did, for her. Because at last, she understood.

Two Years Ago:

As she waited for Sora to return with their food, she kept flipping the pages through the book. Searching for any sign or mention of Professor Loki. None were to be found. This only made her earlier assumption of him having enchanted it more suspicious. So caught up in her search, she had almost missed Sora having joined her. Feeling eyes on her, she looked up catching him staring at her. This made the redhead blush. Why was he staring? Not that she minded. This just wasn't something she was used to. And that look he was giving her? What was it? Kairi couldn't put her finger on it but it was almost as if he was looking at her with adoration? Awe maybe? She would and could wish. That was a look from Sora she longed to one day get.

His voice snapped her from her thoughts as she gave a slight jump, still caught up in her thoughts. "huh? Oh.." She shook her head laughing at his question. No mater what he did, he would never cease to make her smile. Something she admired and liked about him. "No, but I really don't think we need a book to tell us he is nuts. That's just obvious. however.." Her hues went to the book again as she flipped to the page she wanted to show him. "look at this. Remember when you said you read ahead and there was no mention of him?" She asked while pointing to the chapter they were to read. "you're right. I've read through all of chapter two and there is nothing what so ever about him. It talks about day break town. Sora...this is weird..how come the chapter said something about in class but now doesn't? You know what I think? I think he enchanted it or something." Violet blue hues looked to him, giving him a curious glance wondering what he thought of her theory.

When he spoke of finding Professor Roger and of how he felt when the two of them were together, it made Kairi's earlier blush come back full force. "I..really?" A warm smile plays on her face. "It..It doesn't sound sill at all. That's a very sweet thing to say Sora. I..I honestly feel the same way. Together, with you, we're unstoppable. We make a great team." She replied, the smile still present on her face. "Professor roger is out there somewhere. And I know we will find him. I feel it." That was another thing about sora she liked. He had a strong sense of justice and hope. No matter the situation.

Traverse Town:

As she waited for his answer to her question on exploring this new place, Kairi looked around some more. The town was beautiful, serene with the faint glow of the street lamps. Violet blue hues stared up at the night sky that had billions of stars scattered about. They shimmered like little flecks of diamonds. So distracted by their surrounding she had not yet noticed the dog that was approaching them. However, she did very much notice when Sora suddenly pulled her to him, wrapping her in a warm and protective embrace. Her cheeks once again matched that of a strawberry while her hues widened in awe, shock and confusion.

"Wha?" She manged to get out, her voice stuttering slightly, wondering what he was talking about. He said something about something biting her? Puzzled, she looked around, finally spotting the dog. This made the redhead even more confused. The dog looked cute and friendly. It didn't look like it would attempt to even try to bite them. The more she looked at the dog, the more familiar it looked. Wait..she had seen this dog before, in one of her dreams. In the dream, she had been kidnapped by a strange group of people in black coats. Put in a cell, the dog had been with her and kept her company, giving her comfort.

Just when she was going to tell Sora about this, she felt him nuzzling into her. This, of course made her already dark cheeks darker. At this rate, she was going to end up looking she had a permanent sunburn on her face. "Err..it might be his doing.." She replied trying to concentrate on what he was saying and not him nuzzling her. "you know..I wouldn't be surprised if he had something to do with it.." The professor did have magic and was a god, or so he claimed. So anything were possible after all. But she also wasn't really worried or anything. With Sora by her side, she knew they could handle anything.

She smiled softly about to reassure him, when suddenly the words got stuck in her throat. Her hues widened as she looked at him, a mix of hope and wonder in her hues. Did he just?? Had he really said the three words she had been longing to hear from him and had only thought she would ever hear in her dreams?? "wha.. what.???" Was her reply, too stunned and shocked to say anything. Was this real? Or was this another dream of hers?? It took her a few seconds to calm her racing heart and find her voice. But when she did, she spoke again, her voice soft and stuttering. "Yo..you love..me? Really?" Her violet blue hues stared into his with hope and adoration. "If..if this is a dream..I never want to wake..." She replied taking a breath and placing her hand to his cheek. "Sora..I..I..love you too. I have for a long time." She admits, smiling warmly at him, hues filled with love.

Two Years Ago:

Kairi had just started reading the book when she abruptly looks up , hues wide and a bright blush on her face. Was what the professor said true? Had Sora really been looking at her this hole time and not the book?? Hesitantly she took a glance at him. What she saw made her cheeks tint darker. Sora was siting stiff as a board and with a blush. Despite her shyness, the fact that he had been staring at her, made her smile to herself.

However, her thoughts were pushed aside when the professor had asked Sora to read. She blinked in confusion, looking down reading the passage curious. Sora was right. That was what it had said. This made the redhead puzzled. Why in the world would it say that of all things?? And what had happened to it being about daybreak town?? It was almost like the professor had enchanted to book to say what he wanted. It seemed Sora had the same thoughts as she did judging by his protest. She looked around seeing other students start to protest as well.

The redhead was about to say something as well, but the words got caught in her throat because of the professors next words. Them being that she was Sora's girlfriend. I wish. She had thought to herself momentarily distracted by this thought. But then she shook it off knowing now was not the time for daydreams and fantasies. Her attention then turned to their friend tidus who had spoken up. Kairi found this very brave of him. This new professor was well..something else.. "What he said, ya!" Their other friend Wakka then added coming to Tidus's aid. Which unfortunately for them only made the teacher more angry. And to kairi scary. Especially when he mentioned turning them into frogs. The heck was that about? And why were they having to write an essay about him?? okay..this guy was very full of himself. She had thought happy he couldn't read minds. With a sigh, she then started the odd and annoying essay.

When the bell finally rang, it was like music to her ears. Never before had she been so happy to hear the loud bell that would normally make her jump. Kairi was quickly out of her seat and handed in her essay. Not a second later she was about to grab her books but smiled seeing sora had already done it. Instead, she grabs his hand and rushes out of the classroom eager to get the heck out of there. "Whew..I thought class would never end." She spoke when they were far enough away to talk and not be heard. "And yes, he was. Very weird and bizarre." She replied nodding in agreement. Her violet blue hues would look around before she leaned closer to him so he could only hear her. "between you and me..I don't think professor Roger's accident was an accident.." Biting her lip, she didn't like talking bad about people but kairi had a feeling. A very strong one that she was right. "I..I'm wondering if Professor loki caused it.."

Thankfully she was then distracted by the lunch menu and looked to it curious. She smiled seeing he was right about pizza day. His offer of getting her tray made her smile widen. "Thank you Sora. Alight, I'll go pick out our seats." She replied as she took her books from him and went to find a nice table for the two of them. A nice looking table in the corner then caught her attention. It was far from the other tables. Which would give the two some time alone and talk. Placing her books down, she then took a seat and waited patiently for him to return with their food. As she waited, she took out the book that was supposed to be about daybreak town and read it again. She had to read twice to make sure she wasn't seeing things. The passages was talking about daybreak town again. Not a single thing about loki was written. "hmm...I'll have to show this to sora.."

Back on the island:

She continues to hurl attack after attack at the hands of the creature. Not once about to give up and back down. Eventually they had the creature moving slowly and soon defeated. The redhead had watched sora in awe as he performed a really cool spell of light that had burned the creature. However before she started to celebrate, she then found herself falling into a dark corridor. Quickly, she had reached out to Sora and grabbed his hand, holding it tight, not wanting for them to be separated.

They had landed in a rather interesting looking place. It appeared to be a simple yet peaceful looking town that had Victorian style buildings. Street lanterns casts soft glows around making their surroundings look even more relaxing. A few shops were scattered about, Kairi reading the signs intrigued as she looked around. There was even a cute looking restaurant that had self lighting candles. His voice brought her attention back to him as she nodded softly in agreement. "I'm glad you're okay Sora..I was worried I might..we might.." Trailing off she shook her head, and smiled at him warmly. He was safe. That was all that mattered.

Looking around again, she gave a small shrug. "I'm not sure...It's a nice looking place though.." She replied about to say more about their surroundings but stopped when he continued to speak. His words caused her to blink and stare at him. Was he going to say love??? She wondered to herself, her cheeks tinting pink at the thought. "I..me too Sora. It was fun fighting by your side. I'll always have your back. That's a promise." Her tone was soft an sincere as she gives his hand a gentle squeeze. "you know you're important to me right?" Pink cheeks were slowly shifting to a light red color when she said this. Kairi didn't want to think of the idea of them having been separated. Or worse..Pushing her thoughts aside, she looked around again.

"Traverse Town. We're in Traverse Town." The redhead then pointed to a sign that was not too far from them. It was bight yellow and glowing. "well..shall we explore?" She asked curiously to him, smile still on her face.

While the boys were busy with their shenanigans, she had retreated into her master's room, and forgotten to lock the door. Right now, she just wanted to curl in on herself and disappear; the guilt was a crushing weight upon her heart. She'd not seen him since she'd first departed this world, never said goodbye. Never told him how much she loved him. Never called him father. On one hand, it mattered in every sense of the word that somewhere out there, he knew. He knew and wouldn't hold it against her. And he loved her anyway. Aqua was fully aware that she was the one bothered by all of it. Because of the three of them, her heart had always been the weakest.

The least certain, that had wavered in a time of adversity and only triumphed because of an incorrect, dogmatic viewpoint, whether it had been borne of trauma and projected onto them all or not. There had been no joy in becoming a master, no pride. No sense of accomplishment. The honour was meant for Terra. Not her. The guilt for being the one chosen when she had expected and been at peace with being passed over hurt. There were so many complicated feelings mixed together; the grief, the emptiness, the unequivocal opposition she now had to outdated, black-and-white viewpoints that should stay in the past where they belonged.

And still, she had folded in on herself after locating the photograph, with it clutched to her chest. The tears were soundless; she'd nearly lost her voice earlier as it was. Attention was the last thing she'd wanted to attract and so when the two boys burst in, she turned away from them. Don't look at me like this. By now, everyone had seen her as she was; the act she'd managed to pull off through her youth of being put-together and self-assured had crumbled into nothing but particles of dust, now before her eyes cast off on the wind. What remained of the girl she'd been? She couldn't remember the world she had been born into originally. Nor the faces of her parents. Only, maybe the furthest echo of a woman's voice. Too long ago now to fully grasp or hear clearly.

There had only ever been her master clear in her memory. And whether she disagreed with him or not, whether he'd made mistakes or not; he was the only parent she had ever known. The only one she had ever needed or wanted, and that meant more than any disagreement. She stared at the wall, tears still falling down her cheeks while the boys spoke to her. At first, their voices were distant and far away, too; maybe it was the ringing in her ears from the force of her earlier sobs. But gradually, they became clearer, and she knew those two weren't going anywhere. What had she done to deserve care like this?

"I don't remember," she whispered hoarsely, "Ever living anywhere else. But I know I wasn't born here." This would be the first Ven would hear of this, too. There'd never been the occasion nor the cause to speak of these things before. Not when they'd been in happier times. Maybe that, too, had been a mistake. "Just someone's voice--maybe my mother's? I don't know, I can't see her face when I look back. I don't even know how old I was when I was brought here, but.." The photo was held out behind her silently for the boys to see; someone else had clearly taken it, but they were all smiling. That was the day they'd first made their wooden keyblades. There was little of it she could remember except a warm, bubbly feeling: joy.

"I guess I was three, anyway. From the look of it. I don't... I don't understand how he can be proud of me. All I've done is mess up, from the beginning."

Turning, she glanced over her shoulder at the boys, and wiped a hand roughly over her eyes. "I didn't want to bring you home just because he told me to, Ven. None of us were ready for what's out there, and I... I was afraid. And I didn't want to be alone. You've always made me feel brave. My d-link connection with you kept me from going insane in the dark, I'm pretty sure of it."

Then she looked at Sora calmly, feeling the kinship again; so strange, as he'd been so little when they'd first met. With everything he'd said, it took a while to take in and organize her thoughts. Aqua sat up then, pulling her knees to her chest and pulled her wayfinder out of her pocket, clutching it tight between both her hands. "You weren't the only one who bore responsibility for that, though. I've heard what you've gone through. It's worse, far worse than what my master allowed to unfold when Terra and I were up for the same test. It's not meant to put the life of the student on the line. And beyond that..."

Her lips pursed together. "He knew what three of us were up against years ago and didn't lift a finger. My issue with him is deeper than you might think, Sora. He's hidden himself up in that tower and allowed us all to live or die, all the while his apprentice was running around all over the place unchecked." Mickey was one of their strongest now, but at the time... he could have gotten into all kinds of trouble. "I didn't stand up for myself back then, and this is me correcting that mistake. But... enough of that for now. One way or another, it'll be all right."

They wanted her off-world? Aqua balked at the idea. There must always be someone to stand guard over this place. Promise me. She was loathe to leave Terra after so many years of separation; and if she went, and Ven with him, then he would have to remain. Her heart squeezed painfully in her chest, and she sighed. "Then there's something I need to do first. And I'm not going anywhere until it's done. It's thirteen years overdue as it is."

Ven would know what she was talking about. Looking over at him, she smiled faintly; yes, she did need him. Blood could be a powerful thing, but even more  powerful was the family you chose. And that was certainly what she had here, wasn't it? From a father who had loved her so well that she wondered little if at all about where she'd originally come from to the brothers of her heart.

Two Years ago:

Her crush on Sora might not have been a crush. It was possibly more than that. She knew she liked him. Liked spending time with him, and boy oh boy was he cute! Sure, she liked Riku too. But with Sora it felt different. The young redhead would get all nervous around him, checking her hair and appearance more often. Though she tried not to show she was nervous. Often she even tried to give him a hint of her feelings toward him. Such as suggesting just her and him hang out. Or offering to help him with his homework. Sadly her attempts seemed to not have gotten through to said boy yet. Granted she hadn't outright said those three words. Kairi was not ready yet. That and she feared rejection. Hopefully one day she would get the courage. But for now, she was just happy he was a part of her life.

His voice snapped her from her thoughts as she glance to him nodding softly. "You're welcome Sora. Please keep me updated." She replied smiling, hoping his audition for glee club went well. Her smile shortly fell to be replaced with a puzzled look along with a blush coating her cheeks. "Huh?" She blinked at him confused on why was he asking her about her hair. It was random of him to ask. Not that she minded. It was just different. She hadn't recalled him ever asking about her hair before. So why now? Wait..did that mean he was staring at her?? If so why?? Oh shoot, did she look okay? Unconsciously, she reached up and smoothed down her hair. Shyly, she then tucked a stand behind her ear. "Umm..n..no. But thank you for the compliment Sora." She replied trying to calm her now racing heart.

Thankfully the subject shifted to her home Radiant Garden. This gave the redhead time to calm down a little. Growing quiet, she put a hand to her chin in thought. "hmm.." Her mind tried to recall what her home had been like. She couldn't remember much. Only bits and pieces being so young when moving to the island. "Well..I remember a flower field that was really pretty. It had a bunch of colorful flowers and I like to go there and pick them for my grandma. Oh! And there was a really elegant looking castle there. The library was fun. Me and my grandma would often visit there and she would tell me stories." A soft yet sad smile played on her face as she reminisced on the memories.

Again, she was snapped from her thoughts. And the blush was back on her face. More pinker and darker than before. Kairi could only blink at his question. Was he serious? Or was he joking? Maybe both. But if he were serious, had he really meant he thought she was pretty? Her blush darkened at the thought hopeful. Shaking her head, she let out a soft laugh. "hah hah, very funny Sora." She replied, elbowing him back, rolling her hues as they walked into the classroom and took there seats.

A confused expression played on her face when seeing they had a substitute. She took a glance at Sora wondering if he too found this odd and weird. Their substitute was rather interesting looking with his golden tiara that had horns. She found him even more interesting when hearing his name. Loki?? As in Thor and Loki?? Kairi had thought seconds before her questioned was answered. How in the world had that been possible?? She thought to herself surprised and in awe. As well as a bit uneasy. Kairi wasn't sure but she had a strange feeling that maybe he had something to do with professor roger's supposed emergency. She wasn't about to ask or say anything about it though. Her violet blue hues yet again took a glance at Sora while she made a mental note to talk to him once class was over. Opening her book, she flipped though it until finding chapter two. Curious about daybreak town, she started to read as class soon started.

Back on the island:

Kairi could not help the blush that played on her face when he took her hand. No this was not the time to blush. Yet when the boy you have have a crush on grabs your hand, it is rather hard not to. Be serious Kairi. Be serious. Focus on the battle. Not his hand and how awesome it feels to hold it. She told herself firmly trying her best to focus on the battle and the huge thing that were about to face. Though the feel of his hand was nice, Kairi could not help but notice that the energy she had felt before, felt even stronger when sora held her hand. It was like the two were even more powerful together.

A firm nod was given to him, her hues determined. "yes, I can do that Sora. I've got your back." She replied looking to him with a smile. "And yes, I agree. The sooner we disable him the better." Her hues now focus on the creature before them taking in what he said while she studied it carefully. His plan seemed like it would work and she was thankful he had faith in her like she did him. Kairi vowed she would do all she could to protect him like she knew he would her.

Looking to Sora again, she gave him a gentle nod. This her way of telling him she was ready. With that, she focused on the creature again. Mostly it's hands. Closing her hues, she felt something overcome her. A light aura covers her body as slowing opens her eyes, targeted on the hands. Kairi then performed a very powerful attack called seven wishes. She charges at the hands, hacking and slashing at them in quick succession, hitting them from as many angels as she can, seven times.

Hopefully this attack would work.
