About me:
Emperor Casimir Diamanté was cursed with vampirism. Forced to consume blood every day for eternity. His family of royals has had this curse for many centuries. Now the curse has past down to him, even as he has become the new emperor, he must exist as an immortal. He stoped aging at twenty-one years. He has been this age for a decade now. He wants to find a way to stop the curse, so he hires witches and warlocks around the empire to help him, so far without much success. One powerful and experienced warlock managed to slow his cravings down to every seven days, only, he must now consume a special red potion which allows this small mercy. It’s not a cure but it is a small reprieve from having to consume blood everyday. He is a human with this vampire condition which is hard to explain, let’s just say he doesn’t burn up in the sunlight like a normal vampire would, to that end, he calls himself a daywalker. Still. He thinks of himself as human but the reality is he is not that human anymore. The curse was a punishment from the Diamanté family enemy, who was in fact a dark arts warlock. Everyone born in this family became immortal by the curse and were forced to consume blood. Was there a way to break this curse? Casimir would spend his immortality finding that out. If this curse really was unbreakable, he would rather die than harm people for blood anymore. He’s turned to animal blood in recent times. Casimir possesses vampire abilities such as supernatural strength, swift speed and superior senses. He knows when he finally finds a cure (a way to break this curse) he will finally be able to die. Some of his family had chosen death over an existence of blood consumption, they ended themselves by decapitation through the years. Which seems to do the job. They do not come back from that. The last to do so what his father, the previous emperor, thus leaving the throne to his son. It had crossed Casimir’s mind a few times already, however, finding a cure seemed like a better option somehow. The hardest part of all this is that his people do not know about any of it. Keeping it a family secret all this time had been their greatest achievement. But they were not happy about it. And now they are starting to notice how Casimir looks the same as he did a decade ago. Young and beautiful. He should be thirty-one this spring. Casimir knew if a cure wasn’t found soon he would have to tell them about it instead. People would fear him not love him if they knew. He felt this in his soul if he still has one. That would change things for the empire for better or worse, when they knew the secret. Time was running out before all will be revealed. His only hope was that the empire would not collapse or reject him, but see him as someone trying to make himself better!
