Skillset: Due to her hallow bones and light frame, her speed is really something else, maybe faster than The Flash. Can also duplicate and make copies of herself of which she shares senses like taste, sight, hearing and even pain.
Brief Biography
Kit isn't from earth, in fact she's not even from the same galaxy. Her home planet was however very similar to earth in many ways, abundant with oceans and forest, vast mountain ranges and nearly the exact same species of animals. Artemis was a like the Garden of Eden brought to life. However, nearly three centuries ago a cosmic event shook this planet and literally tore it apart. All the animals suddenly seemed to possess human-like intelligence and gained their own individual superpowers, however there was another change as half the population become athro-like, or Uprights as the are commonly known.
Believing they were the superior ones, they raged war all over the planet trying to destroy or enslave the so called lesser. The war finally ended when one of the ancient level headed upright used his abilities to rip the planet in two, dividing the the two people's apart for now. This rip in the planet let an ancient aura out known as the rift, the creatures here are more nightmarish than those on the surface.
This is where Kit comes from, known as Rift Walker she was born in this interior world, her every day a fight to survive but she was gifted with two extraordinary abilities, sonic speed and the ability to duplicate herself, the trade of is she has a set number of copies, becomes slower with each new copy, and feels any pain the others feel, she is quick to run out of energy. Neing beyond weak, with hallow bones and no strength it's a skill just to stay alive. She joined the patrol force which is her world's equivalent to the Avengers or The Justice League , it was during her time here that she stumbled on a plot.
A planet called earth had sent a satellite into space some time ago, their hopes to share the location and language of their people in order to reach out to other forms of life, backfired when this same satellite landed on Artemis, suddenly there was a new planet to conquer and a machine was built to reach this so called Earth. Upon telling this to her higher ups, she was selected with a few others to go to earth and warn them. Her friend Iris then used her abilities to hurl them across the stars, landing them on earth long before the Upright. So that's where we are now....
"Extras"
Kit loves human food, she is obsessed with mostly burgers and fast food but will eat anything you offer, she's easy to get along with and not afraid to speak her mind. She speaks rather lewdly at times and can be very brash, but she is also very loyal.
Sitting on the edge of her property the feline witch planted vegetables in a garden in the soft moist bayou soil along the rotting stone fence that has been here since French trappers stepped foot in the swamp. Vermin attempt to feed on the special plants only to unhing their maws and snack on the rabbits and othe rodents that get too close to the plants teeth. The witch waters a bell pepper with a half eaten rabbit in'ts maw, she needs these veggies for later stew. Her undead nose twitched as she got the scent of a fox stuck in it and magic to make her light of foot and make many of herself. Strange... foxes have been seen in the swamp before but rarely and usually before something goes wrong.
Clarice puts the wattering can down and stood up but she didn't arm herself yet as a sign of good will, spirits can easily be offended and the cat did not yet know who she had met yet she will soon findout. "I'll admit... you are fast, it would be nicer to just chat... if you are done I'm sure you'll have no trouble following me to the porch." Her hand grabs the lantern as she heads back to the rear of her shop expecting company.
